very nice guide I especially like the prices section, but unfortunately it isnt 100% accurate and theres no way to do it. What i mean by that is.... Last night i decided to try to sell my extra gunthans peices (2 tops and a skirt) and my torags top. I tryed to look for this thread to get an approximation on prices, but i couldnt find it, so i searched the market boards for a while and i came up with these (last night about 2-3am easter time) Gunthan Plate - 2-2.2 mill Gunthan Skirt - 1.8-2 mill Dharoks Plate - 1.7-1.9 mill Torags Plate - couldnt find anyone selling or buying anywere for an estimation on prices, but some guy offered me 1.1 mill cash and some other random useless items....which i didnt accept beause i didnt know prices. So i log on this afternoon decide ill try again since i never sold anything last night, i got tired and went to sleep. Prices were waaay different in a matter of 10-12 hours... This was about 1-2pm (eastern) Gunthan Plate - 1.7-1.8 mill Gunthan skirt - 1.4-1.6 mill Dharoks plate - 1.3-1.4 mill Torags plate - once again no buyers/sellers to find a price Over night the prices had changed. Ive heard b4 that the day and tie u log on affects market prices...but I never believed it to be so much. Needless to say I sold nothing and I may try again tonight around 2-3am. Sorry, just a lil story on how prices change so fast :? but its a great guide

Not that I would ever have 1 bill, and by the time I would rares would cost 4-500 mill each anyways lol. BUT, with the whole "What if" Firstly I would spend it all on rares... phats, masks, and santas, leave around 25 mill in cash. I dont play rs much nowdays, im lucky to log on once a week, so it would take me a while to use the 25 mill, and once I did...sell one rare and you have all you need. repeat process as needed. Eventually the goal would be to buy the buyable stats to 90-99 range (I can do 90, but i donto if i would have the patience for 99 in some skills). Basically, since the money is invested in rares, it will continually rise (unless theres somekinda huge crash, in which case it will eventually rise again anyways). At the rate I play, I would prob make more money in rares riseing then I could spend. So by the time I go all the buyable skills in the mid 90s, Id still have a bill or so left. What I would do with it then? who knows. Of course on the side I would give my rs friends (my true friends on rs ive known 3-4 years now) which is a whole 2-3 people....give them a few mill and a phat or something. Maby give money here n there to someone if they manage to make me laugh or somehting...or arent shouting noob at every passing person :roll: BUT. Aside from all that...If i could...DEFINATELY the Ebay route lol. Who would honestly pick 1 bill on rs over thousands in REAL money? Could be easily used toward college suplies or an apartment or somehting.

After reading this post, along with previousely reading many of ur other posts...I can honestly say that you are one of the best posters on these forums. All your posts (that I have seen at least) are either funny stories to make people laugh, even if sometimes its at your expence (like the cannon) or Guides to help people out (like your Barrows guide). Now this... Most people (A good 99.9%) would have every other word as profanity or cursing Jagex. They would claim they are going to quite or just try to make people feel sorry for them as much as possible. You on the otherhand, handled it very calmly. You idnt post in rage and write useless stuff that every other word looks like **********. You didnt blame Jagex and say they should give you your chain back. You didnt even threaten to quite. Your basic point (from what i gathered) Was...hey, everyone makes mistakes and looses things they like. its a game, play the game and get your items back. And thats exactly what you are doing. Im sorry for your loss, But I highly repect you as one of the few players that is mature enough to handle a loss like that.

combat 115 skill total 1605 or so (havent logged on rs in a week or 2 cept to check out the fight pits for 2 rounds) highest lvl 94 hits and 94 att highest non combat- 89 flecthing Could be higher, but i havent played rs in over a month besides logging in to check an update occasionally. Its lost its appeal and i ahve more important things in life.

As you can see, most of my friend list doesnt even play rs anymore. But I have no reason to remove them, just looking thru my friends lists brings back great rsc memories when rs was good.

Wow, I was actually there when he got 99 hp, but no, no pics :-\ I didnt actually know him, but a friend who was friends with him told me he was only 3k off 99 and there was some people meeting to watch it, so i went. It was at the black knights in wildy.

wow, these pics bring back so many memories I can remember mining in dwarf mine (well b4 item banks) to make some armor and seeing 5-6 lvl 45s walk thru the mine in addy (with mith plate)...at the time 40s combat was some of the higest in the game, mith and addy was the best aror (no addy plates). Lol, funny how much things change. Killing goblins till you can afford a mith long, or if you wanted to go all out, an addy long. Then once you got it you felt all powerful. Sigh, the good old days. Its a shame I never took pictures back then. I didnt start taking pictures till mid rsc, and most of those are gone out on the old comp. I have a few on this comp that If i can find I might upload. Sigh...those were the good old days. Rs was so much better with only a few thousand people....not tens and hundreds of thousands we have now.... :cry:

Im not that old myself (almost 20). But I agree with so many kids running around RS with absolutely not respect. Just because your hiding behind a computer screen gives you no right to make fun of any kind of tradic event like that. Thats why most of my few friends I talk to on rs are in there 20s and 30s. All the young players talk so much bs so they can sound "cool" (on a game of all things) They will find ANYTHING they can to talk down to you about. "omg ur 114 you have no life!" I have no life because ive played RS for around 5 years now at a max of usually 3 hours (at night when you usually only watch TV anyways...). In the fall and spring I rarely even play RS now because im going to college for an Architectural degree. But no..according to them, im lvl 114 so i must play 24-7 :roll:
