I think you did the right thing. If he got mad and put u on ignore or logged, then he obviousely wasnt a true friend anyways and he was probably planning on taking it. Theres only 2 people I trust on RS with my valueables. But i have known them 3+ years now. Plus that fact that one has almost as much as me, so he has no reason to steal, and the other has way more then i could imagine (shes had over 80 drag drops alone :oops: ), plus shes one of the games top players, so she has no reason to take from me. Those are my only 2 friends I truely trust on rs, and i have trusted them with valuables b4 (one fo them over 100 m when i thought someone knew my pw). For the most part, you shouldnt trust anyone of RS tho.

Then dont do the quests, simple as that. This is actually higher requirements then usual for jagexs quests, and a higher reward then the average quest. I dont know how long it takes to complete the quest and if it will be worth it for the xp or not, but at least Jagex is giving higher requirments, on some quests at least.

Actually, its just programming since its a game, which yes uses math....BUT it shouldnt be had to have the progrmmed formula and then program and exception code in that means ONLY IF every combat stat is lvl 99, then your combat goes to 127. Im pretty sure it could be done fairly easily on jagex part. It does go against the "rules" of the current combat lvl system, but it makes sence. If if 2 people fight, both 126 combat, but one is maxed 99 all, and the other is only 99 melee and prayer...the maxed 126 is techniqually stronger...he could have a few runes on him and own the other 126. Its not liek jagex would ever implement this anywys, so it doesnt really matter, but its just kinda a reward to those who truely max out combat, and not just the required melee 99 + 98 prayer.

well techniqually it was done to make a fair combat system. A person with 99 range or mage should loose to a 99 melee, thats why theres a 17 lvl difference. Not to mention melee has to get an entire extra stat to 99. ....tho the combat in no way is the triangle that jagex claims it is, so it really doesnt matter. I actually really like the idea of having 99 all is 127. That requires someone to get that last prayer lvl for 99, plus 99 range AND mage, and would definately distinguish them as truely maxed out combat.

500k members at 5 each is 30 mill (according to that article) 112 servers at 500 a DAY (someone posted that thats what it would cost around) is 20.5 mill a year. around 150 employees (only 75-80 listed so far) at 40k a year (someone said thats what they make around...i dont knwo the conversion rates, so ill go with 40k) is only 6 mill. That leaves 3.5 mill for other stuff like building expenses and such.... Not to mention the income from the ads :wink: I really dont think andrew is making millions a year, but his employees definaely dont make anything in comparison to him. he makes a pretty decent amount of money. And as far as the members count. Im sure theres alot of member like me who only log on about 2-3 times a month. Plus i know a few of my friends have 3-4 members accounts. That adds alot to numbers. I dont even log on rs once a week anymore and i am still a member...

The list of employees posted was about 80 people (79 if i counted right) say jagex really has 150 employees... 150 employees * 26k (avarge salary less then 20k + bonus + insurance + other stuff....26k should cover it easily) thats 3.9 mill a year...round it to 4 mill... Say theres 350k members at 5$ a month thats 21 mill a year Thats 17 mill for whatever else needs to be done...server payments...building rent/bills...ect.... Then theres all the advertisements that they get paid for... I think its safe to say andrew probably makes a pretty penny or 2... I dont think hes pulling in millions a year, but hes def not making the 20k or so that his employees make lol.

If ur trying to play from school or work and urbeing blocked, Good. Your ment to do ur school work and study and use the computer for cunstructive purposes like research or writting a paper, you really shouldnt be playing games (though granted i know theres time when theres absolutely nothing else to do) If you at work, then you definately shouldnt be playing runscape...i dont need to go on there. Now if its from ur house, then its probably something your parents set up. You said you were a member, so I would assume your parents pay for members, or if your old enough then you pay for it.... in either case, your parents obviousely wouldnt have a problem with you playing rs, so im sure you could tell them ur situation and have it unblocked.

I wouldnt mind it, a nice challanging quest with a good reward might make me play rs a little again. But then again, if deasure treasure and monkey madness are jagex ideas of hard quests... I was worried about doing DT caz everyone said it was so hard, when i finally did it, th quest was a joke, I was rather disappointed. I know my combat stats are decently high, So i dont expect jagex to ever come out with a quest that is challanging for people lvl 110+. but it would be nice. The only thing that looks challanging to me, is the fire cape. But I have yet to try it because i dont have the time to sit on rs for 2-3 hours straight :? but thats actually does look quiet challanging.

Wow, you just about summed up my exact thoughts.... I rarely play rs nowdays, maby 30 mins a week or so if i have the spare time andim bored. Other then that, rs has lost its appeal. All my melee stats are 90+, my mage and range are 88. I have no desire to double my current exp for a measely 5-6 lvls which isnt a huge difference from were i am now. As far as my other stats, im happy with them, most are in the 70s and 80s, with a few lower, but the lower stats I dont really enjoy much, giving me no reason to train them further. My only real goal left in the game is 90 range and mage, but its not a big enough desire to even log on to train it half the time. Anyways, back on topic, I spend ALOT more time on the forums then rs. I check the forums every day, because I enjoy reading them and the stories that people like Leesters post. Usually every night I check general P2p, and Rate This boards and check if theres any new interesting posts, and thats the amount of time im on the forums. Rs as i said is a lucky 30 mins a week tops (why im a member still is beyond me, but its only 5 bucks so why not)

Mystic staffs are actually a decent weapon yes the stats of a rune long, BUT the speed of a dagger is what makes them good. Its kinda like a draggon dagger with a crush attack which is good on plate armor... It was my weapon of choice untill the whip came out. And also with schimmys. the staff isnt as impressive anymore, but it had its day. Try using a dagger and a staff and youll be surprized, its a pretty decent weapon. It just lacks the daggers special. I usually alch at the duel areana with a mystic lava and duel anyone that wants to for fun and people are amazed with a staff hitting mid 20s....its quiet fun.

To be honest, rs gets less and less appealing for me everyday.... Max i play now is 2-3 hours a month :? probably a waste of members lol, but o well, not liek its expensive. I do still enjoy the game, but the quality of the people that play gets worse every day it seems, and I just dont have alot of free time anymore....which is why i dont play. If you have some old friends that are still on ur list that still play, then you will still enjoy the game as long as u can block out everyone else. If not then play a little, and youll meet some decent paople in game (even if it is a 1:100 ratio lol), and you may still enjoy the game. I know there has been more then enough updates that you have missed to keep you entertained while you check the game back out. It doesnt hurt to try, if it doesnt interest you after a week or so, then no loss, bye bye rs. O and btw, nice to see a fellow rsc player who is still around

it actually sounds like alot of fun... the only problems i see with it is 1) PKers will (insert your own desired word here) and ruin it. (I have nothing against people killing people in wildy, unarmed or not, its the wildy, do what you please....which is why i could see pkers ruin this..especially if everyone is on virtually no hits or armer making 1 hits gallor) 2) The problem with HP continually regernerating. This wouldnt be too badwith 5-6 people, maby even 10-15 of well coordinated, but any more poeple unless perfectly corrdinated...will mess up because someone in the lines HP will rise 1 point above being killed by the prayer.....killing the line. It would be awsome to have perfectly corrdinatedpeople n see a domino type effect....you could even have the line break off in 2 directions n meet back up or something. The lin just couldnt be too big unfortunately. It would be nice to turn off regaining HP in a setup like this. It does sound like a pretty cool/fun idea tho.

Maby its clicking through the menus due to lag (like someone already said), BUT since yur not actually on the mage menu, it does use the runes. Thes the only excuse I could think of for not using runes, and for teleing to lumby without earths.

Well, my main should be on rsc still since I log on occasionally to fun duel n such. If they really did ban majority of the autoers...then I should be a relatively high combat on rsc (98 or 99)...especially if they are banning everyone who hasnt played in the last 6 months On the other hand, my pure (52 combat, 76 str, 81 range) will no longer be around on rsc since I havent logged on due to not having members (pointless to have it to only play once a month...) Then again, rsc has been members only, so even if they wreent deleting chars the havnet logged in for 6 monhts.....I still couldbt play rsc on my pure lol. I kinda wish they would have done this, stopped sign ups....but only stopped signus, not deleted semi inactive accounts. Then they could change it from 3 members servers to something like 2 members n 3 free servers. With majority of the autoers gone, and no change of comming back, im sure alot of people would enjoy going back on classic for some fun since you would actually be able to get things done without the autoers. Anyways, good move on jagex, i may just go pking next week :shock:

Mods used to pk in RSC, but im not sure about rs2....they prob did in the early stages of rs2, but nowdays jagex has grown so big thatthey prob arent allowed to attack other people anymore unfortunately... I know i was attacked by a Jag Mod in rsc.....scared the heck outa me, I thought i was gona get 1 hit lol. Lucky for me he hit 0 10 0....then I ran...and he didnt follow. I dont think they seriousely PKed, just attacked people for fun. (I was mid 90s and he was 123) I wish mods still PKed :( but jagex isnt community oriented anymore because both they and the game have gotten huge. Anyways, On topic, glad to see they are looking into the autoers, Id lover to see them find out how to detect it and see another Mass Ban (tho a mass ban now days would be 10K+ people lol)

honestly tho is it worth it? i dont really like training magic any more unless im alching things simply because its "free" magic experience since i make $ off what i alch I don't really give a cabbage about losing money on runes for faster xp. If it saves me 100 hours getting to 99, i can make 140M back on the saved hours :0) work smarter not harder. It all depends.....alching isnt necessarily smarter 100% of the time, it verys per person. using cosims and lvl 6 enchants you can get 80-85k an hour, using high alch u average 65-70k an hour. now it depends on the amount of money you can make vs. theamount of time you save. If say you need 1 mill exp, it takes you 14.3 hours with nats and 11.7 hours with cosmics in that 2.6 hours can you make back the money wasted on comics? 13.6k cosmics Now it depends on the price of cosmics, and they seem to be going up now due to the new areana, so now nats are the cheaper smarter option unless you can make 1 mill an hour or so (basing cosmics at 200ish) Personally for me, tho it issomehwat of a loss of money, id rather do some comics )prob switch back n forth with high alching a little) but for the most part, high alch drives me insane. For big time stakers and merchants, stunning their way to 99 was probably an actual money save, 6 mill exp in 2 hours for 250 mill or so vs 90+ hours of training mage another way, amerchant or stakercould easily make that back in the 90 hours he saved. (GOD I WISH CHARGE WAS STILL HERE!) eh anyways, sorry for the long post, just started typin, little bored atm lol :oops:

you should easily get 85K + an hour with lvl 6 enchant in the new place as long as u dont pay attention to the game and just straigh enchant and deposit. enchant is 1.5 sec or less per cast say it takes 1.5 sec per orb to pic up and deposit (this gives 39 secs per load (of 26) to pick up and deposit...it takes more like 10 secs to pick a full load and I enchant while i walk back n forth...so 39 secs is overkill) anyways, you should be able to do at least 1200 spells an hour, probably more if u really tried. 1200 spells an hour = 87k an hour work your [wagon] off and get 1300 spells offin an hour and u could get 94k Now this is actually trying to go pure exp, not talking and being side tracked n all, but in exp aspects, this is what it should get. Personally i have done a little over 1100 in an hour if i counted right, but i talk to people n such, but its still nearly 80k an hour. (though this number could be off) Ive never tried cursing levels with souls, so i dono about that one.

im sure that when i do that prayer, it doesnt have that beige border around the heart does it? are you sure its not fake? Converting file types on screenshots often kills image quality....colors kinda fade into eachother... Also, other people on the post said they have seens the same bug, multiplesources....frogmite being one of them, and from what i know, a pretty reliable source. Not everyne feels the need to fake a picture from some attention, and if they do waste their time faking pics for attention, then just give it to em lol. I know more n more fakes arise every day, which is why now every picture posted, people say fake :lol: From what ive gathered, its a real shot and hes just informing people of the bug to learn more about it, and other people have seen it as well, so i doubt its a fake.

Do you know if other could see him, or was he invisible to everyone? With the way jagex bans now days, he better be careful, especially walking into the wildy lol...jagex will ban him for an unfairadvantage or something :lol: They do aa good job with the game, but due to all the scammers and autoers they seem to be a little ban happy now days :?

If they did a mass whipe b4 hand to get rid of most of the autoers, then i would LOVE it. Id prob still play classic if it wasnt for the autoers.... Classic KILLS rs2 in pking any day....I would still play classic simply for pking had autoers not ruined it with autocatching and perfect stats that they didnt work for... *sigh* I hate posts like this, it really makes me miss classic, it was such a great game.... Im not saying rs2 isnt a good game, but they are totally different, rsc was so much more combat and pk/duel oriented for me, were rs2 is more skill based... Ill never forget completeing mage areana and walking out of the wildy bank for the 1st time with my newely aquired sara strike and having some lvl 90 (I was about 97 combat at the time) attack me for me to hit a 24 30 25 (red bared...musta had 1-2 hits left)...and as he runs after the 3 rounds I cast another strike killing him....full rune, drag battle, and drag ammy....very decent kill for the times..... *sigh* good times....stupid autoers :'(

lvl 6 enchanting is great xp I used up 2k cosmics last night and got around 150k exp (73 xp per cast, but occasionally you get 3 cosmics for the orbs which was another 80 cosmics or so) If you do it without caring about the pizazz point and just going striaght after one color item and non stop enchanting, you should get 100k+ an hour. I got around 2400 pizazz for the 2k cosmics I used and I only anchanted the gold cubes as fast as possible. The 150k I got took about 2 hours, but that was because I was watching tv...It could probably be done 90 mins or so...

Im taking this as an apology and therfor not mad at them. I suggest the rest of you do the same. I never saw this because i dont go on the official forums, but this was exactly what I was wanting jagex to post. I have no problem with them not being done, My only problem is they need to stop saying it should be out by this date and its not....paul clearely said there that hesgoing to stop doing date predictions because they are never met. And it was actually posted in the begining of december, which means he was partially on top of things.

Honestly, I could care less if carpentry or player owned houses ever came out. I mean comon, look at RS....they could stop updates for an entire YEAR and there would be MORE then enough for people to do. A free download and only 5 bucks a month for members is nothing compared to alot of games (tho I dont know a ton of games, i know some friends that play a few like WoW)....and we get updates usually on a weekly basis... My only complaint is that Jagex shouldnt have madepromises they cant keep. They have been talking about these updates for YEARS and still nothing. I would think by now they would realise that they are huge updates that need a LOT of testing and work....so they shouldnt give a release date. Same as the monthly behind the scenes...I think those are HORRIBLE. Id much rather be surprised by an update and see what it is then be told a month in advance, then speculate about it, then be disapointed. I know its still "toward the end of the year" but I think for once, Jagex should just be straightt with us and make a new announcement saying somehting like hey, we are sorry, we have been working extremely hard on promised updates, but they arent currently ready yet as they still need alot of testing and work. A release date will not be given as updates as big as these are unpredictable. If they wanted to give any sort of time frame they could give a sort of percentage complete type of thing...like we are around 65% done developing the carpentry skill. (If i remember they did something leik that with the RS2 updates right?) I think Jagex does an amazing job updating the game, they just need to learn to not promise updates that most likely wont be done in time. Especially updates that have been talked about since rsc.

I love seeing rsc pics....especially older ones like this. Reminds me of when that game was alot more fun. Unfortunately I lost majority of my older rsc pics on my old PC, but I still have a few more recent rsc pics on this comp

I have done hundreds of barrows runs and Verac has NEVER, not ONCE, hit thru protect from melee. You were either using the wrong prayer mistakenly, or ran out or something.
