  1. I would also say that people have the universal right to live in a healthy environment too.
  2. It happened to a Red Version too though. I do not possess the technological aptitude of such a complex feat.
  3. If it wasn't for this then I would be all for them being mandatory.
  4. Nothing will ever be as good as Pulp Fiction. I repeat, nothing.
  5. ignorant He's absolute right though. All you have to do is control your horny urges and only have intercourse with someone you can trust doesn't have it.
  6. Smashing Pumpkins - Zero (1979 and Today too)
  7. These are based on which skills I would prefer training, taking levels out of the picture completely. (So the list is based on the assumption that I'm completely maxed out and only train for the fun of it.) 1. Slayer 2. Hitpoints 3. Woodcutting 4. Thieving 5. Hunter 6. Prayer 7. Cooking 8. Farming 9. Firemaking 10. Fishing 11. Fletching 12. Construction 13. Summoning 14. Runecrafting 15. Ranged 16. Strength 17. Attack 18. Magic 19. Defence 20. Smithing 21. Crafting 22. Agility 23. Mining 24. Herblore
  8. At first, I was always open to speaking with new people and kept it to ON. Then I got tired of all the random noobs so I kept it to FRIENDS. Then I got tired of all my friends bugging me about dumb things so I kept it to OFF. For some reason the more I played RS the less tolerant I became with socializing on the game.
  9. I'd say the era before GE. I have a feeling someone is probably going to say, "But you said you were a supporter of the Fight Against RWT." I am, but the game was inevitably going to go downhill no matter what, but Jagex just limited it from being completely ruined from RWT. I miss the days before the updates, but when you take into account the fact that RS probably wouldn't even exist if they didn't take those measures then it's no wonder why I supported their cause.
  10. I don't know... Game shows always have the potential to be rigged so that's not a very solid reason to think he's the smartest person on earth. I think if Ken really was the smartest man, we would have seen him make great social contributions but I only know him as the man from Jeopardy.
  11. Really? It seems I don't see half as many 99 slayers as 99 combat, cooking, firemaking, fletching or woodcutting. A lot compared to the skills that have similar Xp rates (Mining, Farming, Runecrafting, etc.) Even though Slayer is slower than these slow skills , there are more people who have 99 than you would think because Slayer is highly desirable - not because it is "easy".
  12. *Slaps label of logical and reasonable onto my posts* Ooh, lookie - I'm right.
  13. For the good of our country?! The authority are only human like the normal citizens - they're not some kind of omniscient gods that can do whatever they please, yet for some reason they have the right to tell us to strip in order to find something which they probably all have in their cabinets at home anyways... and in school where it's mandatory (not a privilege) to be there. When we're dealing with absolute corruption, it is not for the good of our country. The purpose of government is to ensure justice and make our lives easier - not to ensure injustice and make our lives more hectic which seems to be the most prevalent path amongst the authority figures.
  14. I agree with you Mage. I'm absolutely sick of school right now and can't wait til I graduate in a few weeks. Of course my school isn't as extreme as the one in the article but they have to be the most irrational human beings imaginable. The power to control thousands of children tends to get to their heads and inflate their egos. They're like cop-wannabes.
  15. Slayer isn't as repetitive as most skills plus there is the excitement of getting drops and combat levels. Time flies when you're having fun.
  16. The lack of sympathy from killing plants is because there is no moral value attached to killing plants, whereas there is when it comes to other human beings. You're making a human's life sound as worthless as a blade of grass. And also the argument goes both ways - people are fine with letting plants live too even though a lot of them take up necessary space or they are in our way of building things and traveling. You can say that the infinitesimal amount of oxygen a plant provides for use is beneficial to society, but that means the mother can say the happiness she gets from her daughter is beneficial to society too.
  17. The amount of people who have it does not directly correlate with how difficult it is to obtain. When compared to skills like Thieving and Cooking, Strength is actually a challenge. It's just that many people desire having it so the "demand" for having 99 Str is high. There are also a high number of 99 Slayers now. Even though it's a hard skill, it has a lot of level 99ers because it is highly desirable.
  18. I would pickpocket guards for money for box traps and hunt a bunch of Red Chins.

    Mine was wittier.
  20. Racism is never a good justification. My point is that it's silly to attack this group when you have no problem whatsoever with the others.
  21. An obsession with sex is morally correct?
  22. I hereby report myself for double-posting. I am sorry. :( Bad connection.
  23. Oh I thought by "the human experience" you meant at the point of our intelligence which surpasses that of an animal's, separating the "man" and "animal". You're right about that. Although, I think tool use derives more from instinct rather than intelligence - monkeys do it too and beavers kind of do depending on if you consider dams a tool. Many creatures are known for manipulating their environment.
  24. I agree that tool use was the initial step, but I would think intelligence comes before writing. Language is too much of an intricate system for anything lacking intelligence to master.
  25. Warrior and Venomai, I reread our posts and I think I know where the confusion lies. I said that atheism is both a lack of belief and a belief. Atheism has strong atheism and weak atheism under it, so when I say atheism has these two properties I'm merely saying that strong and weak combined have the two properties therefore these properties both belong under atheism. I think you interpreted it as me saying "all atheism has both properties" and then I would bring up the definitions and it seemed contradictory. And like I said, I'm not specifically arguing against your beliefs although it might have come off that way. I'm sorry for sounding personal. Lately I've been considering evidence of god and I basically use this thread for the fun of debating because it's just full of opportunities. :)
