DEF NOOBS FTW!!

Sunday, January 11, 2009 Pretty progressive today, I must say. I got my 40k, putting me to over 2m, and I havent sold anything sine I started this blog. I gained 44k Attack xp, 7k Hitpoints xp (I thought I would have gained more...) and 72 Pest Points (18,180gp). Im close to 77 Attack, which is about 40k xp away, I think. So far, I have 100 Pest Points, and soon will have the Void Knight Top :D . Pest Points: 350/1050 (100/800) Time Played Today: 1 hour 45 minutes Monday, January 12, 2009 Today, I did my Tears of Guthix, and for the first time ever since I started doing Tears, I didnt gain a level. I got 5k xp in Herblore from a failure 84 points. That was pretty bad. I also got my 40k. I found out that in the Indermediate lander, the Void Knight dies much more often, which pisses me off, but its taught me how to properly defend him =D. But after a while people get a mind and start to defend. I got 68 Pest Points (17,170gp), 23k Attack xp, and 10k Hitpoints xp today, which is pretty good for 1 hour :thumbsup: . Pest Points: 408/1050 (152/800) Time Played Today: 1 hour Almost there! Tuesday, January 13, 2009 Soo close to getting 77 Attack, and my Void Knight Top! I got my 40k today, then changed my Varrock Telepot location to just south of the Grand Exchange. I got 8k Attack xp, 3k Hitpoints xp, 48 Pest Points (12,120gp) today. The Veteran lander is SO MUCH BETTER than the Novice lander... RuneScape released a longer time-out period, from 90 seconds to 5 minutes, and trust me, this helps A LOT. RuneScape also took out some words from their filters, so you can now say "suck", "damn" (along with "damnit"),"[wagon]", "balls", and some of the other filters were weakened, making it easier to spell out filtered words in other ways. I love this new "filter"!! Pest Points: 456/1050 (216/800) Time Played Today: 40 minutes

if they ban it, then its basically wasting all their time working on pvp worlds, since it will put us back to when they got rid of pking

i wear high end armour because of the attack and strength bonuses but on occasions where i have a greater chance of dieing (where i would bring a ring of life, or sharks as food), then i would switch to something like rune, and addy boots.

Void Knight Robe!! Saturday, January 10, 2009 Today I got my first Void Knight piece - a Void Knight Robe :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: ! I also realized that the Veteran lander is so much better than the Novice lander, which Ive been using up until my Void Knight Robe. The game is just as fast in the Veteran lander, but the Void Knight dies much more often. Ive been using it since I got the Void Knight Robe, though. So I got 38 Pest Points (19,190gp), my Void Knight Robe, then another 28 Pest Points (7,070gp, becuase I was in the Veteran lander). Thats a total of 66 Pest Points and 26,260gp. And, of course, I got my 40k :D . I gained 25k Attack xp and 6k Hitpoints xp today. Pest Points: 278/1050 (28/800) Time Played Today: 2 hours

myself, i stay with neit. for the legs, go with d skirt - costs less, weighs less, same stats as d legs get a berzerker ring a fury isnt worth it, to me you should also get barrows gloves (or your best rfd gloves) and dragon boots if (or when) you have a lot of money you should get: bandos chestpl8 bandos tassets gs dfs but youre fine with what you have

75 Defence! Friday, January 9, 2009 Today was a pretty progressive day, and Im satisfied :thumbsup: After I got my 40k (no surprise there!), I got myself 52 Pest Points (26,260gp), 7k Defence xp, giving me Level 75 Defence (yay), 19k Attack xp, and 10k Hitpoints xp. Im so close to getting myself that Void Knight Robe (250 Pest Points)! Today, Ive also decided not to go for 99 Cooking as soon as I had planned. I decided to wait until I reach my other goals first, and hopefully by then Ill have enough money to get 99 Cooking with swordfish and/or sharks, instead of tuna, with 1-2M left over. Pest Points: 212/1050 Time Played Today: 1 hour 40 minutes

Yea, honestly, SLAYER SUCKS Its a waste of time going to a slayer master, getting your assigntment, figuing out how and where to kill your monster, buying specific supplies, and wasting money to kill monsters that give you okay xp. The only reason why people like it is because of the monsters you can kill at high slayer levels (abyssal demons, dark beasts, etc.), or the items you can use (broad bolts... FTW) But this requires such a high level in a skill that takes a while to level, so its NOT WORTH IT. The broad bolts, yea they are woth it cuz its 55 slayer, which is what im going for atm... But thats about it. SLAYER SUCKS, but Broad Bolts OWN

My FAVOURITE RuneScape memory was when I just started, and was a noob. I had no idea where I was going and I was trying to get tin and copper ores from Varrock East mine, smelting them at Lumbridge furnace, then forging them at Varrock near the West bank. I remember wondering if I was going the right way and I only knew if I passed the flags near Lumbridge cows/chickens. That and the Guards at Varrock South gate were my only landmarks. I also remember looting gp from people killing the Guards at Varrock Palace and getting like 500gp in half an hour.... I was so excited when I found the Guards in the room on second floor of the palace, and on the roof :D . This was way back in Christmas 2005, and even now I wish I could play like that. It made the game more fun, rather than how I play now, with all the help I get. Good times, good times!

theres just too many "rules" unlike pking where its just you kill, you get what they have. you die, they get what you have. but i guess the reward system also helps since people never really brought something worth what ancient armour is worth, to pking

yea when it first came out i was like, okay, ill try it and i owned every single person i got matched up with but it wasnt really "fun" and got boring after a bit

Thursday, January 8, 2009 More progress totday.... than usual... I got my 40k, and also 48 Pest Points (24,240gp). Gained about 8k Hitpoints xp and 24k Defence xp. Im not progressing well towards my goal of Full Void Range and Melee in 2 weeks, but I might get Void Knight Robe in a day or so... LOL Failure. Ill still go for the Full Void Range and Melee. Pest Points: 160/1050 Time Played Today: 1 hour

Hey I think this is a great idea. But I can only use it on the RuneScript website... I read everything and still cant use it in the game. I havent tried it via MSN, although... -Ks631

In Pyre Need Wednesday, January 7, 2009 Hey, today I got my 40k from bstaves, and finished the new "In Pyre Need" quest. Its really simple. It took me about 5-10 minutes, max. The rewards are great, 14,400 Firemaking xp (got me to Level 66 Firemaking), 12,500 Fletching xp, 11,556 Crafting xp, and Access to the Phoenix Lair once per day is really good for a 5-10 minute quest. There is no combat in the quest too! Im gonna start making the Phoenix Lair each day part of my daily schedule, like buying battlestaves from Zaff, because the rewards are also really sick: 1000 Crafting xp, 7500 Firemaking xp, 3000 Fletching xp, 500 Slayer xp (5000 for the first time), and Speak to the Phoenix to receive 5 Phoenix feathers, PER DAY! Pest Points: 112/1050 (I couldnt get any today) Time Played Today: 10 minutes
