okay ive been having trouble with this for a while. when someone sends me a pic that i have to open from a file like on msn....i click on it and some message comes up saying its not compatible for runnin in ms dos. this blows me away seeing as im not runnin on dos...lol....can someone plese help??

oo gl if its a linksys....hopefully u dont have a 900 millahertz (sp) phone around. we got ONE in our whole house. other 5 is 2 giga...or whatever the new ones are. ill be playin rs, the phone will ring and it'll kick me offline. sorry for offtopic but just lettin you be prepared for things that could happen.

i go onto runescape...and it lags like a lot. i got some stuff from my friend....which i think contained a virus or keylogger or somthing of that nature. before this happened my rs ran dandy. i dled some java thinger....which i never had before...and now like when i pick the world, it will show up on it. it takes forever to get to the grey box to sign in. then...i sign in and it takes ages to "load" it. AND THEN...it laggs a lot. like it'll freeze up..then i pres and hold the minimize button, maximize, or x button and it runs great until i let go. before i dled this stuff from my friend it never used to do any of this. yesterday, when i picked the world the page woudlnt even load..it was just all black. so i ran adaware and now i can at least get on..but it doesnt help my pking one bit. can anyone help please? i got a windows 2000 (thats as much as i know...sorry if it dont help :cry: )

oh well i gotta go to bed...hopefully ill just leave it off for the whole night and it wil be fine tomorrow....

grr i downloaded the java thing..deleted all my cookies...and it still wont work. i do everything, i select my world, and the screens all black (except for the option bar on top with like menue and world select, ect.), and usually where it loads to go into the world, that is all black with a green square around it with a little square in the upper left corner with a red square, green circle, and a blue triangle in it. i tried switching to run on SUN java but it dont work.

alright i found out i deleted my java 5.0 thing or whatever and i forgot where i got it..can anyone help? and is that the reason why rs wont work?

okay i went to control panel and thers no java thing there...nothing at all.

sorry if in wrong topic...but i open up my rs and stuff, pick a world...and thers just a black screen with a littel square with shapes in it on the left upper side. can anyone help??

i think it'd be better to just have your bank like it is now but when you go in it it asks for a password (you chose it...) and you have to MANUALLY CLICK it in. so the keyloggers will be S.O.L :lol:
