I beg to differ. Have you ever heard of the Johnny Cash version of NIN - Hurt? Hell, that's just the same song, but it's performed in such a way that Cash brings it to an entire new level of meaning. And (I'm so sorry for this ) Madonna's new song! :D Holy smeg, talk about catchy n cool! That was an ABBA sample, the uncoolest band ever, and the song rox my sox! :P I'm hung up on that beat fo' shizzle! :D :P

Yup, just like the new "cook X." I'll toot my own horn a little here and say that I pointed this out before cook X was implemented :) Anwyays, the longer time is a fair trade-off for less clicking. lpinkus He sure did, that's where I recalled the idea from :)

Life's not always a smooth ride. There have been bad times, friends and family have died and been killed but I try not to get depressed. I think to myself: "I have to pick myself up and be thankful for the great times and precious memories I have" and then I think, I haven't lost anything or anyone, they're part of my memories and part of my life. I'll never forget them and that's what keeps me going. I'd never try to kill myself, that's taking away the one thing I'm good at; living! :) When times get you down, you've got to dust yourself off and be the best damn person you can be. Whether that's being a friend, being a brother, mother, father, sister, brother, or even a pain in the bum, live; and make sure you're the best you can be.

If you see a bandwagon pass, it's too late.

The only way this would ever be considered would be if the dropping still took the same time. For example, each ore/wood etc takes 2 seconds to drop, then the next drops. If you click anywhere else, it stops dropping. I'd still say no though ;)

Not really a quote. Its a line from a play. Spoken by Prince Hamlet in The Tragedy of Hamlet There are better speeches in that play as well, for example, when they are reciting the legend of Phyrrus. Just wow.

Or atleast have them be good  Check this out, you * know what time it is I don't even know why I'm on this track ya'll nigguz ain't even on my level I'ma let my little homies ride on you wonderful person made-wagon bad boy wonderful person, deal with it!! That is just awful... Right, can we not flame someone's musical taste for once? Just for once? Is it too much to ask? Another fav. of mine: Come Sail Away - Styx I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve got to be free, free to face the life that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s ahead of me On board, I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m the captain, so climb aboard We̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll search for tomorrow on every shore And I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll try, oh lord, I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll try to carry on I look to the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory Some happy, some sad I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had We live happily forever, so the story goes But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold But we̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll try best that we can to carry on A gathering of angels appeared above my head They sang to me this song of hope, and this is what they said They said come sail away, come sail away Come sail away with me Come sail away, come sail away Come sail away with me I thought that they were angels, but to my surprise They climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies Singing come sail away, come sail away Come sail away with me Come sail away, come sail away Come sail away with me

If we're going for meaningful stuff, mine are these: Man of the Hour Lyrics Artist(Band):Pearl Jam Tidal waves don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t beg forgiveness 'Crashed' and on their way Father he enjoyed collisions; others walked away A snowflake falls in may. And the doors are open now as the bells are ringing out Cause the man of the hour is taking his final bow Goodbye for now. Nature has its own religion; gospel from the land Father ruled by long division, young men they pretend Old men comprehend. And the 'Sky Breaks' at dawn; shedding light upon this town They̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll all come ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâround Cause the man of the hour is taking his final bow Goodbye for now. And the road The old man paved The broken seams along the way The rusted signs, left just for me He was guiding me, love, his own way Now the man of the hour is taking his final bow As the curtain comes down I feel that this is just goodbye for now. AND: Trent Reznor - Hurt (When sung by Johnny Cash it means the most for me) I hurt myself today to see if I still feel I focus on the pain the only thing that's real the needle tears a hole the old familiar sting try to kill it all away but I remember everything what have I become? my sweetest friend everyone I know goes away in the end and you could have it all my empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt I wear this crown of thorns upon my liar's chair full of broken thoughts I cannot repair beneath the stains of time the feelings disappear you are someone else I am still right here what have I become? my sweetest friend everyone I know goes away in the end and you could have it all my empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt if I could start again a million miles away I would keep myself I would find a way

I also know how to smoke crack. It doesn't mean I do it

I find it hilarious people conjuring the 'realism' of a whale in a backpack, considering the lack of realism in this fantasy game  Albeit, I think even a whale might be a bit too much.

Why does everyone say that Firefox is better than Opera?
Bubsa replied to runescape_rocks's topic in Tech and Computers
I think a really nifty feature of Opera is that it allows you to present yourself to websites as if you were IE. A lot of mainstream websites are hard to browse in with FF, Opera etc, but this allows you to 'pretend' that you're IE, while being secure and tabbed. -
Haha I appreciate that now :) What I should have said is that they're pretty much one hit wonders in the UK. I forgot to mention that's where these OHWs come from. I mean, look at T.a.T.U. One hit here but massive in Russia...apparently. So, in conclusion, sorry Train :( You Rock! :)

Why does everyone say that Firefox is better than Opera?
Bubsa replied to runescape_rocks's topic in Tech and Computers
Opera for me I quite like the fact that everyone bones Firefox, it just means I'm not part of the bandwagon. I tried Opera first and tried out Firefox and I saw no dramatic improvement to change. I'd figure a lot of people are the same, tried the first browser of the two and just stuck with it. Invariably, it was probably FF because they're word of mouf lackies. -
Way to ruin f2p for everyone. The whole point of having p2p items is to use them on a p2p server. How can you justify the fairness in letting you use items others can't have on a server for your distinct advantage?

Coolios. My nick is Coldplace

This is a place for thought-out suggestions, not crap like this. this is also a place where we givre educated reasons why they are bad ideas not just "this idea is crap" you have to give a reason why... and the reason behing this is the same reason there are no mind, chaos, or blood staves... that is so that lvling mage would be to easy with those staves in existance I, for one, found the reason so blatantly obvious it didn't require justification, just eradication from all our memories.
-
Chances are, they're not going to learn anyway. This is fairly evident in the countless amounts of whining people who want your items. Then let them quit, I say. If people aren't willing to learn how a game works they're hardly going to have fun in it. I'm not obliged to help beggars.

Lmao  No chance

Boo, for as far as I know we didn't have those in Holland, so. Yeah, I think we should state what country we're from when stating one hit wonders. My bad on that one.
-
Yeah, we had this man. It was the prequel of the "Greatest Movie Ever" Thread. What won it again, Bohemain Rhapsody? Yeah balls to that, just like its successor :P
-
Sorry to ruin your life but you're boring. [/opinions]

Ah, perhaps I should have mentioned these were One Hit Wonders in the UK. I gathered Train would be popular over the Atlantic. I also hear Martine McCutcheon is huge in Romania. @Ryan: "Doesn't Count"? Fine then, your Semisonic one doesn't count. Secret Smile was and still is a celebrated song here.

Hey, this is fun! In an apocolyptic kind of way.. Woops, my bad

Would you suggest we place an electronic tag on cats and track their evening excursions? :| No, personally I would sugest not letting your cat go on "evening excursions" at all. What..really? Do people not let their cats out the back door for a little wander? I thought everyone did.

Ah no way man! What about 'Secret smile'? :D Mine: Urban Cookie Collective - The Key (The Secret) Train - Drops of Jupiter Derringer - Real American Girl Thing - Last one standing (Saw these live! :D) Richard Blackwood - Who da man? (Albeit, he did have a follow up #1) Martine McCutheon - Perfect moment And a big SHABBA to Tony Christie - Amarillo!
