Smeg, I forgot your Eu! I might join you, what did you say your class was? It would be good to roll something that compliments it (if I ever get to your level >.<)

If you're lucky enough to have that food put in front of you every day you should eat it. You think someone in Rwanda is going to give a damn about how some chicken was raised? No. They'd grab at it with both hands.

I got freaked out, I thought I'd already posted >.< I'm the baby. I have one brother (22) two sisters (19 & 24) three half brothers (36, 39 and deceased) and two half-sisters (32 & 42). Never met my half-brothers/sisters. Wonder if they know I exist?

Rolled a Draenei Shaman on Nagrand Rebel. Name's Bubsa, give me an add! :D Probably will spec restoration too, so can heal your short [wagon]! ;)

That's funny, he didn't mention anything about that. I guess you know more about what he says than himself. Man, forget this. You show your outrage when someone makes a false conclusion, and yet you continue to do so yourself. Pointless to argue, I'm out.

Despite your protestations against rap, I'd seriously ask you to consider and here's why: It's no coincedence that in 2007 Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five became the first hip-hop act ever to be inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their collaboration into making The Message had a great influence in many different ways. The first was the depiction of 1980s New York. The kind of lyrical protestation had not been seen since the days of Dylan and the anti-war artists of that day, and many critics commented of the accuracy of the song. 'The Message' was not only a political one, but an enchanting one. There is a dialogue shared full of as much drama and suspense as any piece of fiction. Finally, 'The Message' is one proclaming the arrival of hip-hop. It defined the genre of it, sending a 'Message' to the music world, with its harmonies and hard-hitting lyrics. The fact of the matter is, The Grandmaster openly shares his disgust at the turn rap has taken for a worse. The 10 year span of hip-hop he was a part of in his prime was short, but dynamic, having a profound effect on music that will last forever.

He has the ability to make a thread as both of you can. Why not? It's not just about us, I'm sure other people would love to argue about this. I'm sure Ragen would agree with me on this. No you're right, it just seemed a bit of a personal thing when he said: "OK Shadow, let's go". Do you think the sight of gun makes them 'snap'? That's weird. Now you're putting words into people's mouths :\ He meant that they snap and then reach for the gun, not see the gun and snap. If the gun isn't there, he's saying it's harder to take the frustration out on such a grand scale.
-
Me too. Can't you guys just PM over this?
-
You're right, you can kill with practically anything. There's no way that a person with a knife/baseball bat would have gone through so many people's lives so quickly than someone with a gun, though.
-
This could just be a culture thing, or an individual thing, but I don't see the right to bear arms as freedom. I think it's the antithesis.
-
That's if I can find it >.< One minute it was there, the next, it's quicker than Garry Glitter after a newspaper report.

Might make an alt on that server. This muppet on this server's never on, so it's a bit lonesome, particularly making friends with Alliance night elves. Ugh. What goes well with a hunter guys?
-
Satenza, you're right when you say it's the person's fault. Ultimately, he was the one who pulled the trigger. I just think more could have been done to prevent it.
-
Yeah, this whole gun debate (which is my fault) has really detracted away from the real issue itself. Right now, the important thing is to remember those who we have lost and offer condolensces and support to family and friends.
-
Region Levels It's a rough list, but not too bad to begin with. Rebel, what server are you on?

LOL, bubsa, its not like one wave that goes out from your DS. Your DS connects to your wireless internet, and then you use that to connect to other peoples DS' Ha, oh man I'm a noob  I was even using Opera on it today!

I agree guns should be regulated, and a test of some sort should be passed to anyone over 18 who wishes to get one. However if you ban guns because some people may use them to murder others then you are still infringing onto the liberty of those who do not go out and shoot people, or keep it for self protection. By the same token if you ban guns the floodgates open to knives, poisons and everything that some people may use to kill others with. The problem is not in allowing these guns to be around the problems with the society at the moment. The person who shot everyone today had problems, and i think it is extremley sad when the only possible solution to those problems he can see within society is to go on a rampage. Britain is a living example of how banning the bearing of arms does not lead to all the other things being banned, as you've mentioned. There was a similar tragedy, not as many were killed (thankfully), in Scotland which led to the ban. Here's an archive BBC article BBC article That was only 11 years ago. America may have bigger diversity in culture, granted, but that is some support as to the practicality of it, or least some stricter laws. Yes, guns are still prominent here, they always will be. And while I know America is far larger than Britain, in proportion, gun crimes are far lower here. When you consider that guns will more often than not lead to death, I only see that as a good thing. If it's an infringement on a person's liberty to take away their right, I'd say it's one to take away their life. In America, correct me if I'm wrong, it's permittable to shoot someone who was breaking into your home and attempting to steal from you. While that cannot be condoned, do you think it's proportionate to take their life in doing so?

He should, tbh. Giggs and Drogba would push him close for the PFA, but he should still win. Can't believe Fabregash got nominated. Name one thing he's done this year, other than break his 11 month scoring duck? It mystifies me how Carragher still gets overlooked.

Mate, fantastic thread! It probably belongs in the Music and Movies section here:Music and Movies, but I hope it's moved not locked, you've made a great effort, and those songs are definately iconic! Would you want us to focus on a particular genre/time of music when contributing? Or do we have license to roam?

Shads, you're making out that trying to make a difference is pointless. Do you not see the possibility that, if guns were outlawed, it would resist the chance or temptation for some people to 'become' criminals, or use them to solve problems they have? Especially the people who are 'weak' enough to snap like this? You were making out like people are either criminals or not, in some innate way. People are not born criminals, they become it.
-
Just goes to show the futility of arguing this issue with him, so I'll cease to. Shadow, I like you man, and I'd be more than happy to read an arguement of yours if you construct one, but little smart arse one-liners on a thread like this, no thanks.

I've been drinking that beauty for about 5 years now. Not proud of this, but I'd say we're responsible for our local Spoons not selling the 7% variety anymore >.< Swedish goodness at it's best!

Let me guess: Koppaberg? :P
-
People are born as criminals now?
-
Well yeah, but a bit of his stuff many people take for granted as 'obvious' nowadays. Regardless over what you'll conclude on his ideas, it's a fun read. Personally I think he was smart, but just went a bit too far. :S
