Maybe they could implement some clothes that increase exp gained from RCing :lol: Like the lumberjack set that increases wc exp by 2.5% :mrgreen:

Takes a bit of money to start, but I've found big money in Oak Planks. Goes like this: Buy Oak Logs -> Convert them into planks -> Sell planks -> Repeat As of today, oak logs were 25 minimum on GE and in constant supply, and planks sold for the minimum of 418 constantly, and occasionally 430. What a lovely profit :) 418-(250+25)=143 minimum profit per log, and practically no effort involved. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

For this sort of thing i just think of dumb luck and what some know as sod's law: take for example flesh crawlers. Being a relatively low level (54 combat) I go down there to train my combat levels quite a lot, as they're efficient. When i first went there I also realised that they dropped Ranarr Weeds quite a lot which is a decent thing to sell, obviously. Of course, when I go down there just to kill for Ranarr, what do i get? Nothing but Marentil and Tarromin -.-

Some of them have undoubtedly moved on, yes, while others don't play MMO's at all, rather favouring quick ones on the huge gaming sites (or smaller ones that school filters don't block yet ). Personally, I moved on to other games, complete with maturer* crowd and such, but came back here for the frequent updating, and fun atmosphere ;) * I won't go into it, but in one of these games particularly, the crowd can be even worse than the 8 yr old beggards and such we have here :(

Personally, I like names with originalilty and a good to them if you know what i mean : My current mains name is Lazorati, which i like because it's short, snappy and original. In contrast, names like sk1llpure108 or whatever aren't original, fantasy-ish and hard to associate with them actually being people (to me at least). Though, I can appreciate wanting to play more than wanting to waste time thinking of an original name :D

Very true, and it's also a shame, because from what I've seen, Runescape is one of the more simple MMO's out there, and anyone can understand it (which may be part of the original appeal?) Off Topic - Nice Avvy :thumbsup:

I can remember back in the day, (in Runescape Classic times) when RS was one of the most popular games in my area, everybody had played it at some time or other, and me and all my friends competed with each other in game, etc etc. However, nowadays, whenever I mention my playing Runescape or, (Heaven forbit :ohnoes: ) my Membership, I get laughed at, joked at, whatever. Noone (at least in my area) likes it anymore, and ridicule all who play it. Said people justify this with comments like "the graphics suck!" or "Too many kids", and yet when asked, they havent even played for a long time, up to maybe 2 years since last login. So, the question is: Has Runescape gotten a bad reputation? And if so, why? Note: Above opinion came from my group of friends at school, aged 13 - 16. Discuss.

In context of food or as an insult? If it was as an insult, then shame on you :shame: I'm ginger so i know it to be hurtful when people make jibes about things like that. -.-

Also to add to the aquiring of seeds part, you can also thieve from the stall in draynor, which needs 28 thieving. Not particularly efficient, but every little helps :P

I mine in Dwarven mines and then bank in fally obviously, and i would buy feathers but im poor so i cant really afford 37.5k of them lol and yes i am making arrows, thats why i was talking about fletching exp :shock:

It's a reference to the line "My spider-sense is tingling!" AKA when he senses danger, e.g. something falling towards him, someone about to hit him etc

Part of my point was that neither of us expected something like this to happen... When he gave me it, my friend said "I know its only 25k but i hope it will help" (At the time, i was saving up for when i had completed dragon slayer, aka rune plate) @ Ralxn hmm, good point :shock: ill jus go make more calculation, lol *Edit* Did math, doing all 58.8k arrows, i would get to 58 fletching. Not as big as i thought, but still a 25 lvl improvement for me 8-)

Ok this is a short story of what happened shortly following my bday :P One of my Friends, who shall be known asBob for these purposes gave me a half key for my birthday, thinking i could sell it for 25k which owuld be quite handy. How very wrong he was. A fewe hours later i was standing in fally bank, trying to sell my key and this guy shouts "Selling 30 forging rings!" so i ask him how many i can get for my half key. He gives me 15. Apparently that alone is worth ~75k but it could be wrong. But there is yet more. I decide that i should go make some arrows and then i realise "hey! i have 15 rings of forging, lets go make 2100 iron bars to make tips!" so i whip out the ol' calculator and it seemed i would get to 47 mining and 47 smithing just making the damn tips! (This is from 26 mining and 23 smithing) and i would get 37.5k tips! By now i was feeling a little giddy, because for me (A level 54 person) 37.5k arrows would be a lot.... and i got out my calculator again and figured out that making them would get me approximately 2.1MILLION fletching exp, so im like :twisted: :shock: :? all at once because this is enough exp to get to about level 81 fletching. So when Bob Logs in, i tell him about these events and he says "wow! i have 13 rings of forging too!" So now me and bob are getting everything together to make out combined 58.8k arrows. Making them, we will get Bob to 80 fletching (He can already cut magics) and me to about level 77. **Started mining an hour ago, at about 150 atm :P**
