  1. Sounds great! Hope I can make it, though I'm not too sure yet! I'll keep you posted :D
  2. Emo music is not punk music, and I am outraged by anyone who thinks different. Punk bands have their roots in 60's bands such as The Velvet Underground and The Who, and furthermore, draw inspiration from movements such as that of Glam Rock, epitomised by acts like T-Rex and Bowie. Punk as I know it is defined by acts such as Ramones, Iggy and The Stooges, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Buzz[roosters], Talking Heads, Stranglers and the list is endless. Thats punk music, and its miles better than emo... which is more pop than anything. I disagree that its all about "wanting to die" as someone put it, and I won't criticise anyone for listening to it, because at the end of the day, if they enjoy it, then thats what music is made for - fans enjoyment. Its just not my cup of tea.
  3. Not if you can set a reserve price. When you put your item up for auction, a reserve price should be set. If the bids do not reach the reserve price, then the item does not sell. Simple.
  4. Haha! Funky idea! I'd certainly be a regular user, but I can't speak for everyone else... if the response to this thread is very positive, then it shows that the idea could be very successful. Unfortunately, if not, it could be questioned whether or not it is really neccessary.
  5. I agree, the chat system can be very frustrating at certain times when in a high chat area. As such, I support your idea.
  6. I've taken quite a fancy to this idea. Though... does the party leader have a bit too much power, being in control of the various party options? Just a thought, but on the whole, I enjoyed reading your suggestion and wouldn't mind seeing it being implimented in the actual game.
  7. Really? even if the bags can only hold a very low number of extra items, meaning that it won't be possible to train up too quickly because of this?
  8. Surely this defeats the very object of the game, to be fair and establish a friendly community. Granted, this doesn't work very well most of the time, but a clan created purely for the purpose of being evil seems a bit odd... would they be scammers? lurers? etc. If so, they'd be banned pretty quickly. However, if you're talking about clans devoted to evil as in those created in the name of Zamorak... then there are already loads out there! :D
  9. I don't know if this has been suggested as of yet, but my idea is similar to one already is operation in NWN, if any of you have played it, although I believe it would have greater use within Runescape. When mining, smithing, woodcutting etc. do you ever wish that your inventory could be that little bit bigger, just so it wouldn't seem to take as long. What a magic bag would do is simply offer another inventory of a small size. Perhaps there should be a variety of sizes available, for instance, a bag that offers a 5 space extention, one that offers a 10 space extention and another that offers a 15 space extention, going up in price accordingly. It would allow players to carry more ores, bars, logs etc. when going about their daily grinding duties. What do you think?
  10. I seem to agree with the majority. The skills bit seems a bit too far, but the profile part is sheer genius! Here's hoping that something like this will come along soon!
  11. Yeah... I keep a map browser open, but why shouldn't other players? If they did it, then surely they wouldn't need to ask...
  12. I love it... I think its definitely AS good as Hot Fuss, but I can't say that I think its better. Still... that'll do for me!
  13. I wasn't actually suggesting that they were, in any way shape or form, less than brilliant... let me make that clear! I really think they're ace!
  14. I have been playing for quite a while now and still manage to get lost from time to time  However, whenever I do, I simply have the world map up in another browser. Its simple and effective. I just don't think that this is necessary. Am I alone?
  15. Yeah. That is weird. Runescape is a game... I play it for a bit of fun. It isn't a way of life. The guy was clearly obsessed.
  16. I love seeing things like this, you've obviously got a great imagination :) Its a brilliant idea, and it would be truly great if it was implimented. Great artwork also! Haha :P
  17. perhaps anti poison or a suit which protects you from the tiberium? just a thought. But maybe thats too much like Command and Conquer...
  18. Why on earth would a warrior want to make his armour rusty? Seems a bit odd if you ask me.
  19. I actually agree. If you can come up with a decent story line it seems like a good idea. Bit cruel to kill him just for being hungry though isn't it? :-k
  20. I agree, it is an interesting idea, one that could certainly be developed further. However, as you mentioned, I think it may be copyrighted, so that would be worth checking out.
  21. The Incredibles. Everyone hyped it up to be something amazing. It wasn't.
  22. yeah_you_are, can I just ask why you support that rule? I'm not going to judge, but I don't agree with the rule. I know a guy who can't be older than 11, because he's starting secondary school this week, and he's a genuinely nice guy. He's intellegent and well spoken, and knows how to play the game. He's not 13... but who cares? He's my friend and I get on well with him. So why should the 13+ rule be enforced so strictly?
