Got accepted to go to the AIPAC conference in December. They're paying for flight+hotel which is nice. I'm actually using the flight arrangements so that instead of flying back to college, my end destination would be my home so I can skip out on having to book a flight using my money to get home. It's a win win situation :D

I knew by phone call they were getting the divorce but I have no idea what I did to her. She is acting like it is all my dad's fault and I disagree and am keeping quiet about my opinions. I guess that's why. But whatever I am ok with not talking to her until she gets her shit together.

While I'm at college my parents are divorcing. It's a messy divorce involving court too. My mom texted me last night she is done with me and that she is not a bank. I'm not even sure what I did to her. I have very little knowledge how the situation is progressing and my anxiety at an all time high right now.

Mate, just because you've been rejected twice doesn't mean jack shit. You probably are not going to have success the first few times. It took me to ask 9 different women on dates/dances which I was rejected for all of them. I even had to ask my current girlfriend 3 times to just go on a date with me. Rejection makes you stronger and experiencing rejection makes you realize what you need to do differently. It sucks getting rejecting and you'll probably be sad. Having said that, it is soooo much better than the anxiety of not knowing.

I've personnally never seen the entire system paralyzed over an inch of snow...You mean they don't close all the public schools, for example? Maybe they do a better job in Canada than in our country.Need a good snowstorm or promise of 10+ cm to close schools here. Here it takes 30+ cm of snow to close schools, and in New Brunswick it's 35+ cm and they don't even close college and universities at those snowfalls. Thinking about it, I should probably get my winter tires put on before the rush which usually start at the end of October, but I'm expecting it to be sooner this year seeing as we had some rain/snow mix today although mostly rain. In Canada they don't do much of a better job, people actually know how to drive in winter conditions and that makes all the difference, although the first snows there are always quite a lot of accidents. It snowed a foot (~31cm) overnight last winter for me in here (Minnesota) and they didn't cancel college classes.

Just got back from a weekend in Las Vegas for a conference. Conference was good. Walked the strip, went to my first strip club, and got to meet and take a picture with Sheldon Adelson. He essentially paid for the flights, suites at the Venetian hotel, and the food for all those who attended the conference for the weekend. Amazing philanthropist and all around good guy. Very fortunate to have met him.

Human beings were not originally meant for monogamous relationships. They practiced polyamory. Monogamy for humans was invented by society. That being said, with monogamy so well ingrained within society and many parts of the world, it is easy to see why people argue for it. In fact, it is easy to see that social standards look down on anything that has the word "poly" in it when it comes to relationships. Then again, I can argue that human beings has surpassed or at least learn to suppress their primal instincts. If we didn't, we would kills or hump anything that moves.

We played Deadpool today on the ps3 and then had sex. Pretty sure the second part would be hard to do if I was single. (And I guess the first part too). I can see being single being fun because you can flirt and have one night stands, but at the end of the day, it just seems nice to have a stable relationship instead of just random hookups. I cannot say how you can get sex out of your system though? Or are you speaking about one night stands?

I took a class last year where in the lecture, there were about 120 girls and like 15 guys. In my discussion group, there were 25 girls and 3 guys. How about those ratios?
