Well i want to know if you guys think whether or not it's good, i think it looks better, but shudn't used alot because it really takes away from the pixel art, which really took a whole lot more time that the postwork... here's a wp i did a few weeks ago with very little postwork (only the searchlights and smoke) and here it is with a ton of postwork which one do you think looks better?

nothing wrong with imageshack, and it's never even been down for me lol.. and also the file size limit keeps going up :D

i can't tell...but not being able to see the pic might have something to do with that ;)

it's pretty good, the only thing i don't like is the lightning, doesn't really fit in.. gj

lol like half the people are absent from school today..and i was gonna stay home too....but then i felt better... DOH!

just go to google and type in " pixel art tutorial" or something like that... but here's some tips.. make the edges much lighter than the original colour where the suns hitting them make the sides lighter/ darker according to where your lightsource(s) are and using darker colours tends to work for me, unless you want a more "cartoonish" look, then use black outlines and light, high contrast colours.. hope this helps :wink:

it's too 2d, try to use shading to make it more 3d...it's a good start though ;)

actually the camera is looking down, so you can't really see the sky:) but yea RS has gotten pretty boring for me ever sinice RS2 came out and less people play RSC...so it's harder to pk, that's why i quit...

well i might do it...gonna give the AS map a shot first though.. :wink:

yea, now that i've gotten better at perspectives and stuff i'm thinking about starting that all over again :wink:

dude what the **** are your talking about? either your are just 100% lying or it was a different pic with a similar colour scheme... :? or you coulda seen it on devart, i posted it on there too :wink:

woah you guys are awsome, ty for all the gr8 replies well guess after all i'm not really done with it, because like you said, all the dark spots need 2 be filled...i'll just post it again on this topic when finish :D i'm thinking of adding some glow to the streetlights and the stoplights...but i might not because it won't be in paint...we'll see :wink:
