well, i don't know about the 100 hour bit, but it sure feels that way, and maybe it is..i didn't count lol this is 99% paint and i think it's prett easy to tell which ones i didn't use paint on... i was also able to add cars! :D i didn't think i'd be able to do that with such a small scale... any CC and comments are welcome on this :wink:

just experiment with paint until you get something that looks good..

well you make em by opening up paint (or pretty much any other program that you can draw stuff on) an maximizing it to 800% and then just...draw but i suggest you read a few tutorials first, and don't post any work on the boards unless you think it looks good :wink:

yea i start out with the roof and go from there...if it was a reg sized car it wouldn't be as hard, but the roads are pretty small on this so i'm having trouble drawing one to scale and getting the perspective right :(

well first of let me just say that JPEG screwed it...but a while ago my computer broke and i had to restore it so i lost everything and now i'm left with terragen and a few progs which came with my camera...and they only do bitmap and jpeg :( but atleast i'm getting better, this was a WP i did about 2 months ago..perspectives and scales are way better on this one :D, and it just looks better http://img52.exs.cx/img52/4320/town11J.jpg ok now what i need help on, as you can see on that other one my cars are just UGLY...so i didn't even try to do em on this one (well i did, but they looked just as horrible) so if anyone could draw just 1 car on there, so i could see how, that'd be awsome... btw this isn't done yet, but i did it 99% in paint..added the text on the wal-mart and casino on another program

yea that's what i thought too... that suker would take forever to do pixel by pixel.... :?

it's pretty cool btw did you do the little light around the tip of the arow pixel by pixel?

it's raelly good and angel wings would look really good on it too.. only suggestion i have is maybe there is too much snow on the mountain...

everybody's gotta start somewhere and beauty is in the eye of the beholder...just make sure you did your very best before posting it on the boards...way 2 many people posting bad pixel work on the boards these days :roll:

well yea, what the other guys said also, there's some plugins you can download, like water works, to add some foam at the edge of the water...you did a good job on the atmosphere but it would look better if there wasn't so many mountains and they were a bit smaller, so you can see the sky better

anything can work...i use paint..(see post i made a few hrs ago for example) just don't post bad work on the forum...make sure u've done your best and then post it...lotsa people posting crap recently

btw i've read that tut too, remember my "red dragon inn" drawing for my arenascape pic korla? i used that tut on it :D

i know, ty for the ideas, i'll try to fix the roads, cars and scales...one of the taxis is actually about 2 stories tall lol btw i wanna see if anyone can do this and i think i still got an acount on RS with some cash on it... so whoever finds the 5 people in that WP first gets 10k :wink:

you mean like build in real life? yea i guess you can't have runways that close to skyscrapers lol....
