Any good melee guides out there for max exp/h?

I know it's nice and all and it shows a sign of wealth but I still say no it's not worth it to buy only for the looks. It's nice at first but you eventually get tired of that same look if you have it too long.

:lol: love that. Anyways with your stats you could chop some yews or mine iron. Or like someone said you could pick flax and spin it, or you could give NPC trading a try.

I'm about to hit 72 slayer :thumbsup: I know mind shield/elemental shield/DFS are a must but I was wondering what's a good way to fight these things? Do I range them while using prayer (range or magic), or is prayer not necessary? Are there any safespots? Stats are in signature.

I got a War Tortoise task and I had never tried them before. But I really love slaying them now because they have a very low defense. I'm currently using prayer pots with proselyte because I wasn't sure what to expect from them. But my inventory is flooded with shells and I have to leave decent drops on the floor. Does bunyip + super def pot (I have 85 def) with my best defense armor work well at War Tortoises? Or would it be better to bring food + War Tortoise pouches?

I did the quest a long time ago. How do I turn the seed back into the chimes? I use it with the singing bowl and it keeps turning back into the saw which I was previously using for construction. When I convert it back to the seed and sing with the bowl it just converts back to the saw and not the chimes. Edit: Oops nvm , I think I answered my own question, I was in Brimstail's cave and not Golrie's.

If you open the worldmap in game, you see all the ice patches locations.

Pick flax in the flax field south of the bank in Seer's, and spin them(requires very low crafting lvl). Or you can just sell the flax if you don't want to get 10 crafting.

Just an example of how stupid they can be, well actually my "friend" was also stupid. We were kinda bored I guess, and for some reason we were pressing shift 8, 6 ,4 w/e for the symbols, in the private messages. Of course, we weren't exagering. That was about 4 years ago and my friend really wanted to be a player mod so he reported for any occasions he could get and I guess this was one of them. He reported me and I got banned for 2 hours, for password scamming (??). I got unbanned but I'm still left with 10 black marks, for password scamming which has nothing to do with pressing shift 8 and I never got an offence for anything else. And I'm sure if they'd actually take a look at it they would realize there's no swearing behind the shift 8. I've always been a clean player before and after that incident but they don't seem to care about my appeals.

It's about 1/500 like it was said above, but it took me about 1460 to get my last one, and before that my drop rate was about 1/300 so it's always very random.

Along with everything everyone said so far, you can do some npc trading on the side :D. You can find yourself with ~400-500k/h. There's a great guide in here something, forgot the name though.

I know it's completely random but has anyone else been getting terrible drop rates? I've been told before the drop rate is 1/500, but I've always been lucky with a drop rate of ~1/200 without ring of wealth. But right now I'm at ~1300 kills with ring of wealth, with aboout 285k range exp. gained without a black mask drop.

Ah ok! I'm on my way, I figured people were still buying considering they were going up 60-80k per day.

Is it a good time to sell them in the grand exchange now that they dropped? The robes are no use for me what so ever so I was wondering what a good time would be to sell them.

Barrows, aviansies, castle wars, any mini-game, or you can woodcut or fish while just chatting or even do some quests.

Ahh that really sucks, I'm still waiting to get my first visage, but I end up getting the left half which I alched because I needed space in my inventory.

Are they considered as rare as Visages? I know they are very rare but I'm not sure how rare compared to Draconic Visages. A few months ago I got a left half from irons after a few kills. It was kind of an achievement because it's one of the rarest items I've got as a drop but I was also dissapointed because it's so cheap.

You can try Cave Horrors. I always liked them, they drop seeds, herbs, clue scrolls lvl 3 and Black Masks, etc. Don't forget witchwood icon!

I was away for a few months. Is tanning still a good way to make money?

Kyatt. And yeah, do this. Also, don't mine coal. It is by far worse xp, and it is even worse for cash! So just sell the Iron you get and buy coal... or so I would have said, but Steel is bad for Smithing. Thx for the correction.
