If you play efficiently enough maxing an account(apart from 120 dungeoneering perhaps, that's around 400 hours on it's own) would take less than 2000 hours ingame time. So yeah, the trim requirements right now are about on par with maxing another account, mainly because of the cw requirement. But 120 dungeoneering should be included (it's a requirement for untrimmed afterall :rolleyes: ) so that's 2400 hours (100 days play time). And again, only assuming your able to be super efficient for 100 days solid play - i highly doubt anybody who owns an untrimmed completionist cape has anywhere near only 100 days of playtime. So my point is, to trim the cape you should have to do at least 100 days worth of play time in order to trim it - someone said 5000 CW tickets is 90 days... Sounds like a pretty fair requirement to me. You neglect that a trimmed 99 is > a untrimmed 99 A trimmed completionist just gives another emote... If you're going to compare two things - they should scale similarly. You shouldn't be wasting >a year of playing to get pretty much nothing added. Sounds silly TBH. I'd say it is scaled fairly. As I pointed out 5000 CW Tickets is 90 days, where as a (very very low in my opinion) 100 days is what has been said it will take to get a completionist cape. More than 10 days difference, and tbh a measly +4 prayer bonus (especially when a soul wars cape is better anyway) isn't something you'd get another 99 for - you get it for the cosmetic trim and the achievement itself. Infact when I was getting my 2nd 99 in order to get my own trim (and I hate to say it, but I got fletching to trim cooking :razz: ) I wasn't even aware that the trimmed cape had any better stats - I just wanted to have that trim, to show that I had at least 2 99s.

An trimmed 99 has better stats then a normal 99. If you had to get two accounts that were "completed" how would you a.) link them? b.) choose where the completionist cape goes? lol, split the completionist cape in half and make it into a scarf? Its theoretical, obviously.. The point is,if you want to trim it - you should have to do the same amount of work as it took you to get the cape in the first place. So imagine having to get the completionist cape on TWO accounts - that's the amount of work it should be to get a trimmed one.

To trim an ordinary 99 cape, you need 2 99s. So therefore to trim the completionist cape, you should really have to have 2 completionist capes. IE, TWO SEPERATE accounts with the completionist cape... In that sense, 5k cw games is getting off lightly.

Sooo I got 91 :smile: Then went back to slayer, and the first task in, I got an effigy and guess what it needed :-P God that felt good, after all this time being frustrated by construction effigys -.- Also had a decent(ish) elite clue: However after a little bit more slayer the inevitable happened, I got an effigy needing 97 construction #-o Back to my dungeon I've gone :P, got 94 bought (Means I can tea to 97)

Was just a while between updates :P ~~ Well been no updates for the past couple of weeks because I've been on holiday :-D 2 lush weeks in Turkey with the gf, and wish I was still there. But alas, I came back on friday, and back to work tomorrow too, it all went waaaay to fast for my liking :-( Naturally 2 weeks off meant I had to leave some money in MTK, sooo here's the loot from that: Was quite happy, easy AFK money ;-) And then in the last 2 days set to work on some more construction, the 1st level up is from before I went away I just forgot to post it, but 86-90 have all been in the last 2 days. Got 1 more level banked at the moment (and more than half way to it too) will probably buy at least 92 as well since means I can use tea for 95 cons effigies... But tbh who knows may just buy 99 ;-)

I honestly wouldn't call them scarce. I see HEAPS of them lately, most worn by players who either drop traded to pures or scammed them on a pure. (since I doubt most pures had 1B+ before free trade and you all know it. There's also the lending system you know...

Sooo yeah I've been kinda neglecting my blog recently so thought I'd add a large sweep of updates, including my bonus exp levels. Okay to start off I FINALLLLLY got my fire cape! Must have been over 25 trys total so was extremely happy with this, d claw specing him with venge was deffo the way to go: The fire cape naturally led to me getting this: I then went on a slayer spree, during which these are the main levels/drops achieved: [hide=93-94 Slayer] [/hide] As well as slayer i of course took advantage of the bonus exp, not as much as I would have liked due to rl commitments, but that just meant a double tree run at 2.7x xp, rather than just the one :P [hide=BXP Levels] [/hide] And just got these 2 levels earlier today: I'll try to keep this more updated now :thumbup:

Abyssal Demons: 1000 Air orbs (Noted) 500 Raw sharks (Noted) Ice Strykewyrms: 50 Rune Bars (Noted)

I think i've worked that out I've killed Abyssal demons, ice strykewyrms and the dagannoth kings, and it has said its "shined" on EVERY single kill.. But this is because: Which is why it is always working on these monsters, abyssal demons, ice strykewyrms are both slayer monsters so the ROW always helps with them - and same with the DK's. With irons/steels (which aren't slayer monsters or bosses) it doesn't "shine" on every kill.

Pics now up :P And yes we need to go back it was great fun, but only if you can find smaller worlds like 20-30 aside or so, larger games ruin the fun. :( ~~~ So quite a few updates to bring you from the past 2 days: Well first off I lost 50m staking (not clever I know!) so been trying to make some of it back, starting off with some barrows, finally breaking my dry streak of over 80 chests: Ah robe skirt Next used most of my hati gloves on ranged since its not 99 yet so made the most sense to use it with that, didn't chin though so only got the 1 level out of them 96ranged Then did 2 tribrid trips with Seer, wern't amazing trips but we did get a few lil drops: Archer ring Dragon axe Seercull - not sure why i screenied somthing which sold for 12k LOL After many people getting on at me finally decided to get EE and complete seers diary elite.. however it meant I had to do a quest :| God i hate them about half hour of my life wasted for this... 6k Str exp.. Yay. -.- Oh well it resulted in me completing seers diary: Seers Diary Complete And the rewards got me these 2 little levels: 72 Runecrafting And 72 Mining And then to finish the day (or night? It was like 3AM lol) I got these 2 levels from my charms.. Only 4 more (expensive) levels to go ;) 91 Summon 92 Summon

Thank you all for the herblore congrats messages :) And i do agree its by far my favourite cape <3: Soo not updated this in a while but also not been up to too much since that herblore day kinda burned out a bit. :P Looking through my screenshots found some slayer loot which I hadn't posted yet, a dskirt and a fairly decent clue: And then when free trade finally came out, my brother decided to quit and give me what he had left on his account (yay!), also one of his mates IRL didnt want to play anymore, and since my brother didn't want his cash he offered it to me.. was more than happy to look after it for him :razz: the first trade is from my brothers friend, the 2nd from my brother: So with a fair bit of extra cash under my belt (Which was very helpful straight after 99 herblore) i bought a lot of monsterhunting gear, and enough runes to burst me a yakpak.. However as always happens when I'm on ancients I end up going back to CastleWars, and am glad to say I still haven't lost my touch for the minigame, won 12 games in a row with this being my best game: Was surprised (during the day at least) you can still get decent small games of castlewars rather than the stupidly massive ones which used to be the only way to even get a game.. these games were about 20-25 a team maybe less which (imo) are the best types of game and require the most strategy, really had to drag myself away or woulda stayed there all day haha Oh and literally just got this one with jase, and didn't realise it was number 25 till now. Just wish they were worth a bit more than 480k each :rolleyes:
