can someone with 88 smithing help me please?
first off, ive found myself in a bunch of addy bars, and i would love to smith them all into full addy sets to sell off, so i'd need some with 88 smith to assist me in doing so also, another question is, since addy bar sells are so hard to do, theres no buyers! would it be wise to just say whatever and smith them all into addy fulls to sell to f2p? that amount of bars i have would make 26 sets of full addy, all sold at 40k or would make me 1mil, does anyone know how easy it would be to sell that many sets? any help would be highly appreciated thanks =D

Grand Exchange: Your thoughts?
wonderful read. =D> One thing though, that has always made me think lately about the market, is, do we know for sure if every item will have a set price to sell? That would curb Brianite3's merchanting idea. so instead of nats being sold at any price you set, the grand exchange says it can only be sold at 300. or, even better, what if they have a price cap, so nats can be sold at 300 or less. that way people who want to sell their items fast will be able to undercut the common 300each nature runes, but if someone was to buy them all out, the highest they could ever possibly go is 300each. of course, I would believe they would give it alot for headroom then capping it off at 300, but anything over common prices of today would probably be the cap. So the way I see it is this, the grand exchange can one of three ways. 1) You can name any price you want to, and it will be fine for a little bit, but then the rich merchants will start owning whole markets and everything will be alot more expensive. 2) You can name your own price, up to a certain point, so, for the sake of argument, lets say the cap on nat prices can be as high as 350 each, and as low as 250 each. Letting the seller have a choice between earning the most money over a long term time frame, depending on demand, or, making less money in a shoter time frame, depending on demand. 3) You CANNOT name your own price, the grand exchange will sell at the set price it sees fit, say.. 350 for nature runes, no ifs, ands, or buts, about it. Of course, I haven't really seen anyone else think about that, so maybe I'm utterly wrong, or I missed something about the pricing when first told about the GE. If so, please prove me wrong, I'm rather curious as to how the pricing will work.

wut to do for 150m???
I wouldnt even know where to begin I remeber when I used to chase after money though, it makes the game less fun I'll tell you that, its far more fun when your playing just to level and skill, and when you do make money its an added bonus But if your set on going straight for money Do barrows until you have like 10mil then maybe do a few chaos for onyx and make them into furies that'll be easy to get up to about 20mil after that you can either.. runecraft with all the cash you have, 20mil will buy about 200k pure ess which will make 200k nats that'll sel lfor 60mil, if your willing to do that work, and then you can go back to barrows or merchant and keep switching off tasks so you dont get bored so maybe you do like.. barrows furies nat crafting barrows furies nat crafting and you'll probably be there at 150-200mil

Why Do You Do The Things You Do In Game?
So, I was wondering, why do people choose to do the things they do in Runescape, I mean, theres SO much you can do, why do people choose the things they do Money? Skilling? Entertainment? Competition or maybe because they enjoy doing those things in real life? I remeber when i first started I didnt usually fight, instead I would mine and smith because in real life, I have a fascination with blacksmiths from around this time era, I mean, it was amazing what they knew and how they worked back then, its mind boggling. From there I decided to train cooking because I love cooking [although I cant really make much more than mac and cheese and speghetti  ] But at least in runescape I could be good at cooking. \ But I was just thinking about this today, do people fish because they enjoy fishing in real life? or just for money? Smith because they like the idea that they can make armour and wepons with their hands, or just for money? So, tell me, why do YOU do the things you do in game?

All About Mith Dragons
Hi, I was wondering if I could take on Mith Dragons using range, my levels are... Hitpoints: 80 Attack: 78 Strength: 78 Defence: 78 Range: 71 Prayer: 57 Mage: 75 With those levels could I range them, or should I use something else Also, what equipment set up would fair best against them? and when thats all said and done, I would highly appreciate knowing everything I should know about killing mith dragons, I've looked up guides but only managed to find about one or two which weren't really that great. oh and lastly, from any mith dragon experienced players, I would love to know how often you get certain drops, I know most people can kill about 1-2 drags a trip so i was wondering how often you get rune drops, and what drops you usually get the most and lastly, if anyone is good at math [which im not..im going into algebra 1 for the 3rd year in a row in a few days -_-] what is the percent chance of recieving a famed, dragon full helm? Thank you so much for reading, and I'm looking forward to hearing your replies, any information what so ever, would be wonderful I know its alot to answer but I'd appreciate every response Thanks =] -myself117

Santa
maybe spend about 750-800k on 100 prayer pots to start, and buy about 4k minds and 1k death runes and maybe a 1k lobs or sharks, and go to barrows as for armour, i recomend using proslyte, but thats just me, some people use rune, other use mage clothes, but proslyte will give you an extra prayer boost which helps ALOT and saves you p pots just do it for a month an you should have enough for a santa just keep and sell all your rewards except minds and deaths and you'll be making a profit, even if you dont get a barrows drop..but when you do get a drop that can anyone from close to 1mil to around 5mil, and you can get a barrows drops faily often if your persisitent

Dark bow or Mage Short?
oh alright, well then..like i said, dont listen to me =] although you can try putting stats in a calculator and figure out how high you can hit with mage and dark bow and stuff, and see what would fit you best i have been hearing alot about rune crossbows lately, i hear they're getting really strong, especially with higher up metal bolts and enchanted gem tips, you might be interested in looking into that, maybe?
-
Dark bow or Mage Short?
I've never used or experienced the dark bow, so dont really listen to me, but.. if your just using it for exp, and arent to big on cash, mage bow with bronze or iron arrows, itll take longer, but itll get you were you need to go dark bow is quite expensive im assuming, but unless your using top arrows like rune or dragon, i wouldnt really recomend it unless your gonna take it to like, massive strong monster that need to be hit with constant 20's or, if you have completed the roving elves quest, the cystal bow is a nice idea to train with, depending on what your training on, it may or may not be a smart choice finacially, since you have to recharge it and the first few recharges cost up towards 1mil but, you dont have to worry about arrows, which is a niiiceeee thing  so pretty much.. if your on the more pinched for cash side, mage with bronze or irons if you got the cash, go for dark bow if you finished quest and feel like recharges, go for crystal bow

Guthans
or you can fight the blue drags with shield then when you need to heal, walk over to baby blues which cant do fire breathe, only melee, and use your spear that way he can melee using his d schimy getting great str exp, then go to baby blues with spear for health
-
Guthans
dagganoths under the lighthouse would be pretty good, and its multi so you can sit back and relax while your exp points rack up =] or for better drops.. fire giants maybe? or maybe blue dragons for the cash lots of blue hides and bones

updated this is even worse please help

Defensive Training For a Mid-High lvl?
I would say ice giants maybe? I heard they have the most exp per hour, 50k an hour or something like that one of my favorite places for easy training is at the lighthouse, just take a few hundred notes lobs and some cash and go down to the dagganoths lvl 70 and 90 something and watch them swarm you, no clicking required you just watch your health and look for clue scroll drops, when they stop auto attacking just climb up the ladder then come back down. When you need more food, climb up to the general store and sell/rebuy your noted lobs and go back down. fast, easy exp, and you should have no problem getting hit very much with your setup and def lvl. This is also a GREAT fast way to train range with a cannon, its amazing! plus its multi combat, just stand in the middle and watch the bones pile up around your feet lol. other than that maybbee..lessers? that'd be quick and easy, not too hard or fire giants for their drops, rune schimys anyone? and maybe the occasional drag med if your lucky thats really all i can think about for now, there really isnt any certain monster to train just defence on, any monster you know that is great for training anything is great for training def. good luck on 70, you'll LOVE torags plate =]

Investigating a missing king
I see some people talking about the white knights and the guards together, but the way I see is like this, the white knights are employed by the king himself, going through rigorious training and are set to defend the castle and the king alike, the guards on the other hand would be employed by falador, set to keep the civilians safe, because in the grand shceme of things, the king, in most cases said to be of holy decent, are more important that common day peasants. just wanted to clear that up But as for the king himself, given what I've been told from you guys, I'm thinking like this: Say, as the king was in power, is when the black knights started. I would say the whole fight started because the black knights were people who tried to be a white knight, and couldn't make it up to the king's high standards, humilated they all ran to into the dungeons[sp?] near fally, and the castle above the mountain just north-east of fally, on the outskirts of the wild. so over time, the black knights would band together, hating the white knights for succeding where they had failed, angry, that waged war on the white knights. that would explain their rivalry. but onto the king, i believe that one day a representative from the black knights came to sir amik and forged a plan to get rid of the king in return they would cover it up, and sir amik would be given control of fally in the king's place. BUT! over time, the black knights probably got upset, not getting regonized for their hand in the dissapearance of the king, and were probably going to tell the world, therefore sir amik has had the white knights wage war on the black knights. Why are you killing 2500 some off black knights for all that special white knight gear? I would just want to hear the story from a black knights point of view, which we've never really been able to see, all the quests have always been geared towards the white knights, the good, against the evil, without ever really giving a reason, except its white against black, no racism intended [deeply sorry if anyone feels that way btw] but maybe it is quite the opposite, maybe it was the black knights that were good this whole time, cast by the white knights and this is a whole new theory maybe the people that didnt make it into the white knights were laughed at and cast out of town, forced to live underground and on the edge of the wildy. well maybe one day sir amik came to make a visit and propose a deal, if the black knights would dispose of the king, he would make them all white knights, knowing full well that the absence of the king would cause him to be the one in control, and seeing as he is the leader of the white knights he would have power to make them white knights. so after the deed is done, they contact sir amik saying hey...we're still waiting to be white knights, whats going on? this is when sir amik laughs and denies them the right to the white knights and deems them as enemies. well the black knights would be powerless to say hey! he bribed us to get rid of the king, because they would all be thrown in jail for killing the king anyway. so they are now powerless to do anything to sir amik, the king is gone, the black knights are still screwed and sir amik is in power regardless phew!! that actually sounds pretty solid to me edit: why does it say 'sum' and 'teh' for everything =[ i tried my best to sound smart and get rid of typos then it makes me sound stupid to begin with...how lame >_> lol april fools joke maybe? HA! tip.it got us :P

Investigating a missing king
Bloody skife. I must start out saying I'm sorry if you felt I was copying your thread about the wise old man, I just didn't know what else to call my thread :P anyways, the thing that gets me is that king vallance has never been in the runescape world since it started, meaning, if all the characters were made around the same time period, then the king was missing years before that time period. another thing is no one knows where he is, where he went, and even why. you can't be that high up in the world, being a king, without having your moves watched, and cared after to ensure your safety, look at the president, he always walks around with bodyguards. point being there is no way the king could have just up and left on his own free will, not tell anyone, and not be seen again. it just bothers me that no one is really trying to find him either, no one in runescape [npc's] are looking for him, not many players even question why falador doesn't have a king, like varrock does. Even jagex leaves so many blank spots in this case, all I've found is he left, hasn't been seen for years. One theory I could think of though is this: what if sir amik varve sided with the black knights, or imperial guard, to take out the king, and thus making him ruler of falador, as people begin to wonder where the king went sir amik varve covers it up, more and more, and maybe put laws out to stop the white knights from looking for him, and eventually over time people grew to accept it. The thing that ticks me off though is there really isnt any way to figure this out either, there aren't any books talking about him, aren't any quests that has to do with him, nothing. the only thing I can think of would be the Knight's sword, Wanted!, and the Sea Slug quests, seeing as those are as close to falador and sir amik varve we get as this current time. maybe...just maybe these quests might lead us deeper into the hierchy[sp?] of falador, and eventually get us closer to finding our king of falador!

Investigating a missing king
Who is this missing king I'm speaking of, you might be asking yourself. Why, is this a king from a far off land? no, it's actually a town I'm sure we all know, and love I'm speaking of the king of falador! We all know that as of now, Sir Amik Varze, the leader of the white knights has assumed the role of king of falador in place of it's previous kings absence. Poking around the knowledge base I've come to find that the previouse king, King Vallance, has gone missing. Here is what the knowledge base says about him: "King Vallance is the ruler of Falador and of Asgarnia. He has spent a good deal of his life on the throne, but in recent years seems to have retired from public life. No one has seen him quite a long time, and now Sir Amik Varze rules Falador in his place." Another thing I've found quite interesting in the knowledge base is this: "The White Knights of Falador, in fact, have become so prominent and influential within Asgarnian politics that they rule in King Vallance's stead. The White Knights do not rule unchallenged, though, for the Crown Prince, who lives in Burthorpe, favours the Imperial Guard. The rivalry between these two military forces is great, and it is probably only the fact that both are devoted to the royal family that has kept them from trading blows in a very public and very messy civil war." Which would explain the single white knight on the outskirts of Burthrope who 'Seems to be watching something' in the words of his examine. So now we know that the King is gone and hasn't been seen for years, the prince of falador lives in Burthrope, leader of the Imperial guard, and that the White Knights and the Imperial Guard are rivals Could the disapparence of the Faladorian King be a plot of the prince, taken out by the Imperial Guard? or could the disapparence of the King be kept under wraps to the public to keep other nations from invading Falador, seeing the absence of a King as a weakness Well, I don't have the answers.. but maybe you do! So let me know your thoughts! Thanks for reading :)
