  1. Mhm. It's not a staggering increase, but a rather good one. I, personally, am finding them at least twice as fast here. I don't notice a huge difference, but I am getting quite a few slayer staffs from all this.
  2. I agree, I don't see at all what people are getting so angry about. Who cares if other MMO's do this, it's a good idea. And it's only a banner, nothing to cry about. It's not like they're dishing out XP lamps or anything.
  3. I'll lol at the people that get the code and keep it for a while then sell it at a later date for a waaaay higher price.
  4. Damn I missed it. I knew I was close but I went to duo TD's with Lowc and I freaking missed it. <_< Oh well, yay me.
  5. With wrists of steel maybe. Anyways, I still think it's going to be nerfed. You can loot a downed coshing volunteer five or six times if your quick giving about 825exp each time. As for now it's great exp though.
  6. I can almost guarantee they will nerf the exp there very soon so get as much as you can now because it is very fast. Anyways, the quest and mini-quests were actually pretty nice although it would have been better if the mini-quests went all the way up to 99 thieving. I guess it might though because we still have that mysterious door that we can't open. Also, I could care less about the runfest item tbh. As long as they are only 'selling' cosmetic items then I have no problem with it. Edit: ^ Why did the cool picture get removed?
  7. Idk, I just had the vial in my inventory and walked right in. If you already raided the safe though you have to bank the vial then go inside, if that's your problem.
  8. My thoughts exactly but Oblivion's thieving guild quests were waaay cooler. Anyways got all the miniquests done, fairly easy with a decent reward.
  9. Been sitting at 100k to 90 for about two months now, thought it was finally time. Don't know if I will try to 93 now, we'll see.
  10. Buddhists are the only religion in the world that doesn't get pissed off for no reason. Sad that SP gave in to those fundamentalists. SP didn't, Comedy Central did.
  11. http://tv.yahoo.com/blog/south-park-producers-say-network-cut-fear-speech--1181 So I guess comedy central was responsible for bleeping out the end speeches too? WTH? Edit: "The group Revolution Muslim had complained that "South Park" had insulted their prophet by depicting him in a bear costume in last week's episode." And buddah was there doing a line of cocaine and nothing happened.
  12. It does. Mele sheild soaks 10% of melee damage and 20% of mage damage. Range soaks up 10% of range damage and 20% of melee damage. Mage soaks up 10% of mage damage and 20% of range damage. BUT the damage is only soaked if the hit is higher than 200, so I personally see no practical use for these shields except for boss hunting and possibly hardcore PVPers. Also, don't know if this has been mentioned but here are the speeds of the chaotic weapons. -Rapier = Scimitar -Longsword is the same as other longswords -The maul was not mentioned.
  13. The first answer... Do you plan on realeasing new dungeons(separate) to daemonheim... -bow to james There is currently no plan to release Dungeoneering dungeons outside of Daemonheim. ... That doesn't mean it won't happen though. Get your suggestions in at the Suggestions forum. ...Damn.
  14. Of course, such as when is batch two coming. I doubt they will answer time specific questions. I'm going to just ask a bunch of obvious questions, -Will there be floors after 35? -Will there be dungeons outside of daemonheim? -Will there be new boss monsters outside of the dungeoneering skill that require a dun level to defeat? -Why is dungeoneering the only skill to go to 120 even though you said you didnt plan on making anymore 120 skills?
  15. So the live Q&A starts in 30 minutes, anybody here going to ask any questions?
  16. The book guy is fairly easy with range. Then again I'm 99 range but I only use a tier 7 bow with tier 9 arrows.
  17. So, just to make absolutely clear, let's say I'm on floor 13 (lvl 26). I am not yet lvl 27, so floor 14 is unavailable to me. What I should do is "reset" my prestige, start back at floor 1 and work my way back to floor 13, or wherever past floor 13 it is when I start to find that my lvl is insufficient for me to advance beyond my current floor, right? As for your other tips, I'm already doing them (yay me! lol). Solo complexity 6 ftw as far as I'm concerned. Cheers! As far as I understand it, as soon as you start repeating floors, immediately reset. If you repeat a floor twice you will only be getting half the exp you would be normally getting so it is not very beneficial to you.
  18. I understand that, I'm talking about the fact that you need levels far beyond what the actual required levels are for the new items to purchase them. For ex, the bonecrusher requires level 21 dungeoneering to use but costs 110k tokens which requires level 74 to purchase.
  19. Batch 2 is just pure speculation right? Jmod posted in the FAQ that it was coming and just needed finalizing on the levels, whatever that means.
  20. They mentioned that they were looking into a method for fixing the solo disconnect issue. But as for the token issue, I agree that something needs to be done. Either lower the token cost by like 25% or raise the required dungeoneering level to use them.
  21. good to hear 48-40 dungeoneering was a scary sight indeed, more than halved my dungeon xp I'll take this chance to ask, what's the secret to levelling that fast? Do you reset your prestige or what? Details if you can :) I really don't see what's so hard with the prestige: only reset it once all the levels you can access have been completed. That means they have a tick next to them. Then, once you do reset (if no new levels have been unlocked by you cashing in your tokens for exp, if that's what you desire), you start from level 1 again. Do level 1 first, because each level you complete gradually raises your prestige, thus you gain more exp faster. Levelling fast as far as i know: soloing complexity 6 is fastest. Open the bonus rooms, go in and out directly unless you need food. Don't kill unless you need food: you shouldn't be doing any skilling in any of the dungeons if you have a weapon and arrows bound. If possible, bind a promethean spear (for crush / slash / stab attacks). Once you start a level, be sure to buy a hammer, a pickaxe, an axe and tinderbox. these are easy to drop later on, but usually at least 2 of them are required for the completion of a level. use your prayer wisely, remember each level always has the same boss (as far as i know) and some bosses will disable your prayers anyway. Use the map liberally (while running) to see where you have rooms you haven't been in yet, to move efficiently around. anyone have better / other advice? Thanks, very helpful. How do I know what is a bonus room though? (and also, why do i still get negative pecentages for complexity while I was at lvl 6) well, it doesn't really matter what is a bonus room, and what is not. you just want to enter all the rooms, grab any keys, open doors further down the line. You've always got to judge whether or not to kill stuff in a particular room is most efficient or not (if you need food, if you're going to have to run past many times, therefore expending too much food etc.). For maximising xp, this game is actually requires thinking and adapting to general stituations. The many puzzles are also nice, at least now in the start before we all learn them by heart. I have no idea why you get negative percentages for complexity, even at level 6. I've never had that happen to me, then again i've only played 5 levels that weren't level 6 :D To answer a few of the questions in this massive quote... --Bonus rooms are any rooms that are not needed to access the final boss. Unlocking all rooms in a dungeon will give an extra 13% exp (You don't have to enter them you just have to make sure that it is not a question mark on the map) --Killing off all the monsters in a dungeon adds an extra 10% to you ending exp, leaving too many however can grant negative exp. --Any complexity under 6 will grant negative exp so it is always beneficial to play at 6. And for the fastest exp I've found, just play on complexity 6 and start on floor 1 and make your way down until you start repeating floors. Then just reset your status and do it again. I have been going solo using this method and at level 34 I am averaging about 900-1.5k exp per floor (which approx. takes me 15-20mins)
