Either you're the best pixel artist in the world because it's your first attempt or you saved a JPEG pic from something to a PNG image. There's too much detail for it to be your first. Prove to me that you made it and I'll believe you. :shame:

^ What she said + you see the ball of light in his hand? Use it. Like do a radial gradient of B/W from behind your render and stretch it out. And add a blue/light blue gradient map to make it look cold. < That will suit the render. O:)

I've seen these types of sigs before. 'Power' sigs. I like them. They use the pen tool a lot to make those streamers going around the main object or focal. I'll show what I mean once I get it done. O:) Edit: Har we go.

Cool button. I've seen tut's of them somewhere on pixel2life.com I think. I've made one too, a while ago: This was back when I could make buttons better than my sigs. Lol.

Made a clipping-mask sig to show that just using clipping masks and a few C4D's can have a sweet looking outcome. Edit: Just realized that the anime girl in my sig looks like the Rl girl in my stock sig. O.O

Dithered sky, changed cloud color, made boat smaller, added more color to water to make it more look like a 'reflection'.

Added shade from boat onto water, and a little more on the boat itself. And changed the sky.
