  1. I died while WCing... I turned away to let me dog out and I came back to find myself in fally missing a few items totaling about 3M. Very annoying.
  2. Ah, by far my favorite was when the Draynor Maynor vines were still there... I got lured in and managed to make my way out, but hung out for a bit. In less than 10 minutes and I had 2.8M and a santa hat (Santas were 500k at the time) Then I proceded to spend it all trying to merchant, and found myself with only 1 mill. Oh, and at one point I had two santas for 500k each and a blue mask for 150k, but I proceeded to sell those atleast 50k under what I had bought them for. If only I had known...
  3. I love you. I love the idea. The smartest person in RS award goes to...
  4. My friend is coming over soon to come skimboard in the puddle. Man thats fun! It is shaped like a bowl so you ride up the side and back into it... Gotta love water =)
  5. Tea trays? Saturated rubber sheet? Umm, sorry, wrong sport! Anyways, here is my best description. With a Skimboard (Either wooden*1 or foam/carbon*2) you can do two things. 1) Find a puddle, a shallow river/stream, even a flat beach to skim on. This is called flatland skimboarding. 2) Find a relatively steep beach with a close shorebreak to skim on (Usually with foam/carbon boards). The first way is easier, however takes some time to learn at first. What you do is start running (Anywhere from a trot to a sprint) and drop the skimboard in front of you. As you catch up to it you want to jump on it or walk onto it (Walking on to it maintains more speed). Once on the board, you will find yourself sliding across the water. Flatland skimboarding is usually done in 1 inch or less of water for maximum speed; the more water you have the faster you will slow down. The second way is much, much harder and more advanced. This requires what is know as a two step or a one step to maintain the most speed. What you do is start about 20 feet from the water and wait for a wave. When you see the wave coming, you start running at the wave. Once you reach the water line (Again, this is about 1 inch of water) drop the board and try to get on it with as little steps as possible. Once on the board, get ready to get to the wave. Once you feel yourself entering on to the face of the wave, do a turn so you are facing down the wave (Much like surfing). If the wave is favorable, you can either ride sideways down the face of the wave. If it is not a great wave, you can just ride down the fave of the wave and back to shore. Once on the shore; Reapeat! I hope that about summed it up for you guys! KEY: *1 = Wooden boards range from 10 - 60 dollars. These are good beginner boards. *2 - Foam/Carbon boards range from 150 + dollars. These are advanced boards and offer more float and manuverability to reach the waves easier. I would reccomend a 30-40 dollar wood board to start, and if you find youself really liking the sport go for a foam board. A good foam board is a Zap Wedge (Sm Under 100lbs?, Med130lbs?, or Lrg 160+lbs). A good wood board is a Western Flyers.
  6. I must say Samoas and Thin Mints (Fronzen, of course!)
  7. I am sure they would send you one, lol. Just put a big tarp in your yard and grab your hose (Wow, that sounds awkward...)
  8. Hey all, just wondering if anyone here skimboards? I just got in from outside skimboarding in a big puddle in my lawn... It was really, really cold. I took a layer of ice off the first ride lol. Then I fell, that was even colder =P Anyway, anyone skimboard?
  9. Hey all, I just doubled my money merchanting Ranarrs and seeds but it is going rather slowly. To merchant a d axe, what price should I buy and sell at?
  10. http://public.fotki.com/Beabut/random/f ... roped.html Level 55 with full drag... Can you say drop trade? :shame:
  11. Hey guys, its my first post here... Cool eh? Anyway, I decided I really want a whip (Now that they are reasonable! 2 mill is definetly better than when they were 10 back in the day...) but have always had trouble making money. This sounds like a good method, but I was wondering if you guys had any other suggestions? I CAN'T merchant, though, I tried it once and failed miserably...
