  4. I've been playing runescape for sometime now, almost four years. In that time i've had two accounts banned, two forgotten and the one I have right now. Recently i've been having a thinking stage, asking too many questions, and not getting enough answers. Yesterday I ran into a group of players, or they ran into me, at catherby. Fresh from free world they had just received there membership, and were lingering around the fishing spots, causing trouble. Offending older players, with comments such as "pixel hugger" and "pixel lovers". So I politely asked them to stop. You'd have thought id asked them to give up there passwords and hand over there money! I was followed and abused for half an hour, until I broke my tome of silence. I asked them why they played the game? Was it because they enjoy having more power than they do in real life? No. Apparently they joined members to shout at some "obsessed noobs". I pondered their comments...was I obsessed? Hopefully not, but it made me unhappy for a while. So I decided to ask some people why they play, what reasons and etc. One day a "famous" person answered me. He played because he enjoyed the challenge, meeting friends and generally helping people out. The last comment surprised me. He continued saying that if half the players helped someone each day, the community would become much more tight knit and more enjoyable-much like the days of classic. So ask yourself today- why do you play, and who have you helped? thanks :D

  13. Good luck to all of you! is this how i quote?
  14. Thanks, all four of the comments :). Im finding life back in Rs2 and with tip.it a lot more fun!
  15. Im here to tell you the slightly interesting life of my mainly runescape but some real life experiences that changes me for the better! I started runescape in late 2002, around the time gregechidna6 (sorry if my spelling is incorrect) left. I too shared a few of the "classic" experiences he did. It all started when my best friend hooked me up with rs... As I training to my first few levels on haven2.3, I realised that this game was something different to my previous experiences, and I may be playing it for sometime. I became a member after a few levels, and had some good fun mucking around and being a bit nooby. I was banned and probably for a good reason as my account was a bit of an embarassment looking back. So far this is all a bit boring, but then with the release of Rs2 it becomes more interesting. Two months into Rs2 I was taken to hospital with two slipped disc's in my back and I was not back for 3 months! I trained and trained until my levels where again equal with my buddies, and i managed to get myself a santa hat and a blue mask. I was very pleased with myself as I thought the prices would eventually rise (but not as high as the current amount!). I had made friends and even had a couple of well known people as buddies. I made two really good friendship's with my first clan in 2004 and they are now my best online friends. In march 2005 my dad went to hospital with a rare bone disease and was expected to be paralysed. I was again not online very often, but my mates helped me through and tip.it started to start there "Tip.it Times" articles which were very useful and took me away from real life problems. My dad healed! Im now at late 2005 and im quite into the game again, with a 900 total, which im quite pleased with. Then another thing got me down-I was hacked. Not just hacked but by my best non-game friend, and although to some this is just items on a screen, to the players its like losing a project or some homework, something you've worked hard on. So now im back-for good. And looking back ive realised that friends have pulled me through my tough situations,my dad is going through the same problem again and I think the editor, regular posters and all those online players helped me. So my moral is without friends you are a player without a soul. Good luck my fellow knights...
  16. Merchanting 11/22/2006 Welcome all to my guide on merchanting barrows armor. If you follow my guide then I can almost guarantee some sort of success out of it ÃÆïÃâÃ
  17. After a year of no runescaping I loaded up my dell and got ready for a few months of leveling. I had left during the barrows period after I was hacked my a supposed friend and lost my rune tinted and santa hat... So I found construction and slayer,a new face of runescape, whips and the usual player action. What shocked me most was that the players were so much different to the one's i had left. Swearing, scamming and rudeness had taken over the friendly atmosphere from runescape classic and the beginning of rs2. So I ask you one question...is that what you want? My first day back which was two days ago was dissapointing, with the chat being mainly rubbish and the occasional insults at zezima and n0valyfe-two people who have a load of crap to deal with from people who spread whose rumours. Im sure there nice people anyway. So its my blog on my first day back-I hope you men/women out there have read and take a good look at yourself and take 5 minutes of your day to help that lost noobie or to show that guy where burthorpe is. Thanks
