  1. ^ Yes you do, but no xp now. (doesn't really matter anyways)

^ omfg thank you so much. I've been looking for something like this for ages. \

When training magic does the Stealing Creation armour give you double xp for casting all spells or only combat ones? So for example could I get double xp for high alching?
  4. The xp given for fletching while using a Volatile or Morphic Tool is incorrect. It is 1/4th too much xp. For example a yew longbow has the following xp: 75 fletching with knife 75 stringing 150 total When using a tool it should be: 150 fletching with knife tool 75 Stringing 225 total Instead the calculator is currently showing: 150 fletching with knife tool 150 stringing 300 total This is wrong because you do not use the knife to string the bows only to cut the logs. Thus when stringing you should get normal xp.
  5. ^ yes to alch for magic xp and money.
  6. ^ Correcting is good as then you have an answer that is true. What use is an incorrect answer? I personally use emerald rings, they are fairly fast.

Actually, it is... :| Really handy if you have a laptop at your dispose. Just position your mouse and keep clicking using the integrated mouse under the touch pad. Really fast and efficient if yuo know when to click, which gets easier over time.

    lvl 55 high alch.

Hmm you`ll really have to grind for 70 range. Use yaks or fire giants and bronze knives for that. As for mage I would use high alching. Not sure what to alch though...
  10. ^ Very good points there. Makes me even more suspicious that it will be a new skill. ;) If not it definitely has to be related to a future quest.
  11. Why even vote then? :shame: I wanted Phoenix though so I'm happy. I don't think there would have been much of a difference tbh.
  12. Well this so called "hint" doesn't have to be on a whole sailing skill. What about it referring to a new quest or more specifically perhaps the 150th quest? Maybe the sailing is something that will be used in the quest, not as a skill but just as something you have to overcome or perhaps the problem revolves around sailing to a new area. Considering that all the banners on the main page we've seen have been related to a quest I think the one from the HD release might be related to the 150th quest.
  13. Like many others it was when I first logged onto a members world. I sat there for a good 30 minutes just theiving from men and women in Lumbridge. Once I lvled a bit I found my way around and ended in Ardougne. I was amazed by Taverly and Camelot on the way. When I reached Ardougne I spent a while just taking free cakes and exploring. It was a great first day. Another great memory was a Dragon Medium Helm I got from a drop party. My first drop ever. My last favourite memory was grinding 15 range levels (55-70) so that I could go to GWD Aviansies. When I finally got 70 I was so proud and happy. I really treasure every memory, they all build up to make who I am in RS.
  14. Yes but why use that expression? It just seems like a hint to me.
  15. Edit January 21 2009 New poll on the main page so you will have to look at the previous poll section to see the quote I'm talking about. I just voted in the poll on the main page (you should too) and noticed at the top of all the questions it says: "To celebrate the new year, the Poll Orks have chosen some of your best questions for this poll. The theme may be as unpredictable as the Chaos Elemental, but they hope that answering the questions will be plain SAILING for you." As some people know the Chaos Elemental often drops hints about future updates, and thus being in the same line as sailing it makes me think about it a little more. Also why would Jagex specifically choose to use those exact words to describe the poll? Perhaps this is hinting at a new skill, quest, or minigame in the future? We have had some evidence and speculation about sailing being a skill (a banner at the top of the main page of someone sailing on a ship when HD was released) so there is a very good chance of it being a new skill this year. Or maybe it revolves around a new minigame they are working on. Or another option is that it could be hinting at a possible new quest (such as sailing to a new land for the Museum of Varrock). If not then maybe it just means nothing and I am just thinking way too much about this. (I highly doubt that though :P) What do you guys think it means? Or has anyone else found other hints in the new poll as well? Update January 17 2009 A lot of feedback about there being a sailing skill, both good and positive. I encourage you to read at least part of the thread to see some good arguments and points from other players. On another note there is a great thread on the RSOF (QFC-76-77-139-57861125) on the idea of there being an exploration skill that combines sailing, and several other concepts together. Even a Jagex Mod has read it an has passed it on for consideration to the Content Development Team. :D (Thanks 1245780 for finding the thread) Update February 2 2009 I think this is what all the references may have been pointing too since the beginning. All that debate for nothing! =p
  16. ^ Hmm not a bad idea. Never thought of that myself. (That is worth all caps in my opinion lol) My point still stands for regular games though.
  17. [hide=] "I was at avianses in gwd at the end of my trip" revs arent in gwd he would have to exit the dungeon and head to the right have the agility level to even head to the wilderness use a bit of Logic. he said "Someone" so he means a player, thus he was skilling on a PvP server. On Topic: your best way to go is to log to a non PvP server, let the timer run its course then use the tab out. [/hide] Oops my bad. :-# I should learn to read.
  18. I think they may eventually turn to more once a month or once a year updates for Runescape sometime after 2012. As long as there are players there will be RS.
  19. ^ Unless it was a Rev. But yes log out and wait 5-10min or switch worlds.
  20. ^ Ok Cool, I'll have to go there one day. : Also don't know if this has been said already but USE .PNG! .JPEG ruins the image leaving it messy and not very good quality.
  21. Where was the enchanted valley picture taken? I don\t recognize the place. Amazing screenshots.
  22. Level your runecrafting and craft natures.
  23. Well I brought that laptop and I am very happy with its performance. It's fast and runs RSHD extremely well with all settings. I ended up getting an N-Router even though my laptop used a G Internet connection. The internet I get is still super fast and the router was works great. I might end up buying some extra RAM which would be nice. Thanks for all the help by the way.
  24. ^ Mhm, well I might purchase another 2GB of RAM if I find it too slow but the harddrive is a perfect size for me as I haven't even used 40GB of the computer I'm currently using. I might wait another month or so and see what comes up though. Anyone know the difference between wireless G and N?
  25. Well I'm buying this laptop because it has pretty much everything I need for a great price. The only thing is it uses wireless G instead of wireless N. My question is how much better is wireless N than G? Because I'm debating whether to get a Wireless N card for the laptop and a Wireless N router instead of G but it would cost more. Also would this laptop run RS HD fairly well? Any help would be great. :
