  1. kk Thankyou. :)
  2. Should I use bronze knives or rune c'bow and broad bolts to kill them? Before I used bronze knives but I'm wondering if broad bolts might be faster.

[COPIED FROM Archaeox OFFICIAL TOPIC QFC: 20-21-921-56285814 (Official Forums)] Total Quest Points available: 275 Note: This includes the point from the new tutorial. You MUST do the second part (the Wishlist) of Rag & Bone Man, and have defeated Bork in the Chaos Tunnels, to get this total! (But no other miniquest gives quest points, or needs to be completed for the Quest Cape). ____________________________________________________________ Attack - 40 - (TokTz-Ket-Dill) Defence - 65 - (King's Ransom/While Guthix Sleeps) Strength - 60 - (Path of Glouphrie & Dealing With Scabaras) Hitpoints - no quest requirement! Ranged - 60 - (Mourning's Ends part 1) Prayer - 55 - (Summer's End) Magic - 75 - (While Guthix Sleeps) Cooking - 70 * - (Recipe for Disaster) Woodcutting - 72 - (Back to My Roots) Fletching - 50 - (Devious Minds) Fishing - 62 * - (Swan Song) Firemaking - 51 - (As A First Resort...) Crafting - 66 - (Rocking Out) Mining - 60 - (Lunar Diplomacy) Smithing - 69 - (Rocking Out) Herblore - 65 * - (While Guthix Sleeps) Agility - 60 - (Rocking Out) Thieving - 63 - (Rocking Out) Slayer - 59 - (Back to My Roots) Farming - 65 * - (While Guthix Sleeps) Runecrafting - 50 -(Devious Minds) Hunter - 55 - (While Guthix Sleeps) Construction - 50 - (TokTz-Ket-Dill) Summoning - 23 - (Summer's End/While Guthix Sleeps) Combat level - 85 - (Dream Mentor & Smoking Kills). Levels marked with an asterisk (*) have been CONFIRMED as being reachable using stat boosters (stews, potions, beers etc.). ____________________________________________________________ Last updated: November 27th 2008
  4. I agree that the point of the game is to kill your opponent it's just that I wish they would actually let you get out of your base instead of camping outside and killing you every few seconds. Once I actually got away only to be chased down by half their team of pkers. That is what really bothers me.
  5. Just a small but very helpful suggestion. Instead of keeping items based on their alching value why not make it that you keep the 3 (or 4 in some cases) items that have the highest GE value when you die? And for items that aren't tradeable then base these items off their alching value or a higher value set by Jagex. I would hate to keep a monkfish over my Blessed D'hide just because the alch value is 0gp. it doesn't seem fair and doesn't make any sense. Support/Don't Support? Thoughts and/or opinions? I think it would be great if this were to be changed in the game. It would be a easy way to solve the problems with keeping certain items on death.
  6. I'm pretty sure that this is how you use it: Ruined dragon armour lump (quest reward) Ruined dragon armour shard (monster drop) Ruined dragon armour slice (monster drop) Use level 99 smithing on the special dragon forge to put these 3 pieces together to give you a dragon platebody. Not 100% sure as I am not even close to starting the quest or getting 99 smithing.
  7. Chicken Feather and rat meat are just ranking based on the number of posts you have made. The more posts the better ranking. (Better ranking sounds cooler as well) Some forums don't contribute to your posts total so that is why your total posts is lower than what you thought it would be. Welcome to Tip.it forums by the way. :

Killing the turkeys is a lot faster imo. Took me less than 10 minutes.
  9. Steel arrows at flesh crawlers are good xp.
  10. Well Stealing Creation used to be a great game of skillers and pkers together. Now after playing it for several weeks I see how it's gone from a cooperative game to a game of high level pker noobs. They ancient and that's all they do. 5 110+ pker's are usually on red team and the go around killing the lower level skillers (who have really high total levels). They go around calling us noobs and killing us continuously every time we step outside our base; even when we have nothing to lose. It's really quite pathetic and has really turned me off of SC. Hopefully Jagex's new updates will fix this with the loss of combat xp gained throughout the game. Maybe then skillers will actually be able to do what they are meant to: skill. Before I used to be able to get 90k+ points a game now I am lucky to get over 20k points on a good game due to dieing every couple of minutes. Sometimes I think all pker's are just little 10 year olds that are immature and whiners. While this is not true it seems to make sense because many of them act that age. Hopefully many of these people will grow up because it gives me a bad look at high level pker's when really a lot of them are friendly a good considerate people. Just my little rant on the game. :wall:
  11. Most likely not as it only affects the chance of getting a big drop. (There was a quote from Jagex somewhere stating how the ROW works but I can't seem to find it.)
  12. Go back in time and create an account in 2001 when Christmas Hats and Crackers were dropped. Gather a ton of them go forward in time and voila! Instant millions in today's economy. But seriously why would you ever need 2.2B? I don't think any RS player actually has that amount of money unless they started sometime in 2001. Most money making methods will only get you 100k-500k and hour tops. You'd have to no-life RS for a long time to even get close to reaching your goal. But yeah Nats ftw.
  13. Approximately how long will it take me to complete Monkey Madness? Also should I use monk robes to minimize loss, or should I take good armour?
  14. ^ Ok thanks,. :) Just wanted to make sure as the Official Forums didn't help at all. What about the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD? Would that be able to run RS HD plus some older games or is it not as good as the NVIDIA GeForce 8200M?
  15. (Hope this is in the right place) I'm possibly getting a new laptop before or after Christmas and I wanted to make sure I had a good graphics card that would at least be able to run Runescape HD smoothly. A lot of the laptops I'm looking at have NVIDIA GeForce 8200M as the integrated video card and I was wondering if this would be enough to run RS in HD. Can anyone confirm that this is a good video card? If not can you recommend a good laptop graphics card? I'm hoping not to spend too much on a laptop, at the most just under $1000. Any help or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Oh and is the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD any good? Or is it one of the lesser graphic cards?
  16. Riods252 w60 penguins penguins w60 These are in the order of most used. On the first couple of days the first two are hard to get into though. Just make sure your on world 60. Theres also another one but its only used a bit on the first day: w60 pengies
  17. I smelt and smith my own iron bars using rings of forging. Buy the ore off the GE, smelt them, and then smith them into iron knives. Use a Morphic tool for maximum efficiency as it gives a nice 15.5 xp bonus per bar you smith bringing your total of xp to 40.5 for smithing or 53xp per bar if you smith and smelt. You will also make a profit off doing this depending on how much iron ore will continue to rise. (Currently it's gone from like 96ea to 115ea in the past week or so.) Hope this helps. (Oh and I would not recommend cannonballs as they are tediously slow. Only do these if you really need to make money and have no other skill you can make it in)
  18. ^ Both those places are the best or you could also use the trees south of Edgeville if the area is empty.
  19. I'd suggest spirit terrorbirds, or if you want to level up differently use Penguin Hide and Seek. My friend leveled from 60-68 just by using these to options fairly quickly and at a low cost.
  20. Cutting Yews are for the win. Mining coal/iron is also an ok source of cash.
  21. Also make sure that you have lootshare/coinshare set so that everyone in your chat gets it. For example you could choose for only Captains and above in rank will receive part of the drop.

The above methods work if you don't care about experience. If you still want a good chunk of xp just do the level 10-40 actions with no emotes and make sure to repeat them. For example for mage I just did elemental blast on all the objects without emotes until I ran out of tries.
  23. ^ Oh thank you very much. The tables help a lot. I thought the loss would'd be greater. But I have 3M in cash to spend so I think I could afford 80 cooking using lobsters. It also helps that I have cooking gauntlets. Thanks again. :
  24. Kill cows for their hides, tan them, and then craft the highest leather armour you can. Best for the lower levels as it is very cheap and fairly fast.
  25. How much xp do anchovies give you when you add them to a pizza? 39xp? or 182xp? Also how often are Karambwan cooked perfectly rather than poisonous?
