  1. I never realized how awesome Phoenix necklaces were! I don't PvP though so I probably won't ever end up using one of them, but for future reference these could be handy in many situations. Kudos to you for the awesome pictures and explanation. If I ever decide to do something on a PvP world, I'm taking your advice. 100% agreement with you there. It would instantly solve the player jumping problem.
  2. It's profitable but not very fast. They are also very tedious and boring to make. I tried it once and found it horrible. I wouldn't recommend it.
  3. I'm a guy and I've always worn a plateskirt. I'm just so cheap that way. As for the whole "I don't believe you're a girl" thing; that's their problem. They can choose to believe whatever they want to, but in the end it doesn't matter because it doesn't change a thing about the fact that you are actually a girl. You shouldn't have to prove anything to the people that don't believe you. If they choose to think you're a guy well then it's their loss. It's stupid how some immature guys have to continue to pester you into admitting something your not. Some people need to lose this sexist false reality they live in where girls can only do certain things and guys can only do certain things. While the Runescape population is obviously made up of more guys than girls, it doesn't mean every female character you see ingame is a guy also. Sure some girls may actually be guys, but who really cares. Life will go on as usual and some people just need to give up on trying to prove the age and gender of every person they see and move on. What do they gain for proving your age or gender? Absolutely nothing. If everyone could just accept people for what they say they are then maybe the game would be a little more enjoyable for everyone.
  4. 1 And I thought you were actually a nice guy!
  5. Here's the image, but it would have turned out better if you had anti aliasing turned off. URL: http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/7562/090715145501.png I'll let you fill in the required information.
  6. No, it is only for areas that you show up as the only person in (Like certain quest areas). (For example since with Bork you can't see anyone else fighting Bork at the same time your gravestone will appear outside the room if you die.)
  7. I think Jagex were counting on that happening to prevent many ranters about how this is a "useless update" in their eyes. Now instead they can focus on the PvP update and we can enjoy this one. :
  8. Yes! They finally fixed the Edgeville bank problem. It got really annoying, especially when runecrafting. As for the Game tools, I personally think they're awesome and will be great for Tip.it Events. Many of the items would have been useful for the "Around the World in 20 Minutes" event. I'm keeping a timer, the hat, and the magic skullball as they can be used whenever you want to help during Runescape. The hat just looks awesome, the timer can be neat for calculating xp/hr, and the magic skullball is greatw hen you don't know what to do. I'm thinking of letting it randomly choose some minigames for me to go and play. :
  9. This is just what PvP and Bounty Hunter needed. Now the real pkers will be able to fight while risking their stuff and the old 26kers, player jumpers, and one itemers won't because they don't like risking their items. Sure some people will still have the guts to do the 76k trick but the vast majority will be too scared to and much of the cash inflow through this method will have been stopped. Seems like a great fix to me.
  10. When you lose connection in the fight caves are you playing in High detail or Low detail? Because if you are playing in High detail it might actually be your graphics card. I know mine will crash occasionally which is why when I am doing something important I'll play in Low detail. Also shouldn't this be in the Tech and Computers forum?
  11. Thanks guys. Both mining and hunter are pretty boring skills which is why they've probably been left for last. As for Herblore I'm currently using any penguin points I get and then I'll just have to spend a a bunch of money to buy the rest of it. Hopefully I can get these done withing the next week. I'm currently cooking again right now as it is such fast experience but I don't want to get it to 99 because I want to get a few other 99s first. @Dan: The fairy is Navi. I've been thinking of editing the avatar a bit to make it better quality, so perhaps it will look newer and shinier soon. :)
  12. Just getting full Castlewars gear was impressive enough; that must have taken ages! Good luck on collecting all the untradeable minigame items, at least you get to have some fun while collecting them though. :
  13. #18 is a given need but unfortunately Jagex has stated numerous times that it can't be supported by the game engine so they can't add that feature. Perhaps one day it will be possible though.
  14. 488 Last idea failed. :(
  15. I think I may be on of the few that actually voted for a new area. While I agree that Slayer could sue a bit of everything on the list, if a new area was added, wouldn't that mean more monsters, possibly even some new ones? I really don't think we need a lot more equipment/armour, instead just new slayer areas and monsters would make the skill more enjoyable with more options.
  16. Try unplugging the router, leaving it for a minute and plugging it back in. Then reconnect your laptop to the internet and see if that works. I know every once in a while I need to do this to my router and it fixes the signal instantly. Either that or there could possibly be some sort of interference with the wireless signals.
  17. Well my laptop is always off every night and whenever I am not home. Turning it off gives it a chance to clear the RAM as well as cool down the computer to prevent overheating. When I get up in the morning I'll turn on my computer and by the time I'm ready to use it, it will be all ready to go. I don't see the point of keeping it on 24/7.
  18. The best minigames in my opinion are definitely Castle wars and Stealing Creation hands down. Castle Wars is so much fun playing with a small group of friends and even though the rewards take forever to get the fun gameplay makes up for it. Stealing Creation is also a lot of fun and there are a lot of different ways you can play (magic/range/skiller/no combat/etc.). Then on top of that it has awesome rewards which makes you want to play it even more. Oh and you can't forget Barbarian Assault, if you don't play for the rewards but rather for just having a good time it's a great minigame. As for the worst minigames I'd say Gnome Delivery or Sorceress' Garden are probably my least favourite. The rewards aren't that great and the minigames aren't really enjoyable at all.
