  1. I've got a bit of a question in regards to the outfit. I agree on the mitre and the stole. But is there any reason for the monk robe top instead of black body? I mean...you can get same (maybe 1 less) pray bonus from the bottom and you get a better range bonus with black body. Just something i was wondering before i gained access to the dungeon. I need to kill 100 or something warriors, figure this guide will help me kill and make $
  2. I like the guide, but perhaps times on tiping the bolts and an estimate of total time would make it better. I'm doing this but i'm making the bolts myself. Every 100k bolts done = 1m smithing exp.
  3. Well, i would start off with what i consider the best melee set. (Torag pl8 and legs, Dragonfire shield, fury, dragon boots, zerker ring (have the rest already)). I would also get my "for show" melee set: Red mask, full drag (possible drag full helm instead of mask). I would then get a for show mage set of full infinity. I'm assuming the above costs around 80-100M. So i would then decide to get some stuff for skills. I would buy the following: 200K gold ores for my 99 smithing goal. (and then use them up for my 92 crafting goal) 96 or so million down. The other 50m on sharks till 99 cooking, and finish the rest off with dragon bones for whatever that would get me to.
  4. I much prefer Range. I leveled both my mage and ranged up to 80 there (both were at 78) and while range takes longer, its way less expensive. I suggest for the mage taking 4 sharks + 1 monkfish for the food. Use the monk/lobby for if you get damaged by the dogs as i don't pray on way in till the Blk Demons. I really should get a screen shot of me on ranged... I take 1 ranged pot (4) for every 2 anti fires. I carry a bolt pack (carrying 250 emmy bolts) and have 1k mith bolts with me. As far as anti fires i normally take 16 (which means 8 ranged pots). I wear avas device, fremink range helm, glory, wealth, blk d hide body and legs, barrows gloves and use a rune c bow. I can last for hours (literally) and leave at about the 5 hour mark or after i get a dragon drop + clue. I then do the clue and sell the dragon drop and go back. My method when used with my skills means that i pay off the run just off the alchable drops. (take 50 nats + fire runes btw) The first part of the run is rather annoying as you get too many drops to start. Keep all stackable and if you can't find buyer sell on karajima using gloves.
  5. personally i have tried all 3 ways of killing metals. Mage works well on both *my mage was 79 and casting bolt spells with gauntlets* as does melee. Melee, however, is something that is something that requires much banking. If you just want to camp its not for you. This leaves me with ranged... If you are using MITH bolts you WILL NOT lose a coin. I normally camp for 5-6 hours and average a dragon drop + clue in that amount of time. I go till i get both which is about 14 anti fires and 1k-1.2k mith bolts. (Please note...you should only use mith bolts on irons as steels are a pain to kill. Stats on coins based off a lvl 79 ranged) If you are using ADDY bolts you WILL lose coins until you get a dragon drop then you have a high probably of getting cash back. A dragon skirt sold for 400k will get you 1k addy bolts + 10-15 Anti-fires so you break even if you don't count anything else. If you are using RUNE bolts you WILL lose coins on everything. At this moment in time i would only use rune bolts on MITHRIL dragons. My range level doesn't help me enough. My inventory and equipment are as follows: INV: Bolt case (for addy and rune bolt drops) with 200 enchanted emmy bolts 18 anti-fires (4) 905 coins Addy axe (can use lower) 25-50 natures 1 fire staff Total Free spots: 28 - 23 = 5 (use to pick up bones and bury) Equipment: Black Dragon hide Body + Chaps Rune C bow Anti-fire shield Snake-skin boots (too cheap to buy rangers) Archer helm (again too cheap to get robin) 1k mith bolts Wealth Glory (fury is up to you) Barrows gloves from RFD I have gotten 2 dragon legs in past 2 trips both trips lasting 5 hours (dragon drop on 3rd drag first trip, at the 3 and a half mark on second) Alas only rune parts in clues. (No 3rd age so i can just buy visage) In total off Metals i have gotten: 180k mage exp, 122k ranged exp, couple thousand (guessing 20-30k) prayer exp. Not sure on combat exps i hated walking down there so i didn't do it back to back.
  6. Darn, going to miss it. Sounds like great fun though. I have much respect for all those who raise hunter...as i can't stand the skill. Congrats on 200M exp.
  7. Terribly sorry mate, i totally missed the message you sent about the match coming up. I also didn't check back on the status of my match. Again, terribly sorry, just pm me here on tip.it or in game with next match time. (In game will probably work better)

  10. When tested at school in 8th grade I.Q. was 120. At senior in High school it was 146. Using Tickle...its now 157. I personally don't like Tickle and don't think i have gotten that much smarter, so i just say 145. EDIT: I've been told my ppl Mensa is over-rated...so not going to even try. Also, statement of kids growing rapid in some areas and not so fast in others is definitely true for the 'super' gifted. (Knew someone in school that scored 184 I.Q. and got a 33 on ACT after falling asleep during the science portion because it was "beneath" him.Second Edit: Forgot where i was going with that lol. He was one wierd cookie, wrote his own game engine by the time he was in his Junior year, wasn't very socialable but loved athletics too.) Luckly for me, i just seem really mature for my age, and not super weird *i hope :-k *
  11. Ground Blue Dragon Scale This is pretty simple: go to Taverly Dungeon Blue dragon room and there are some respawns. The best thing to do id have 70 agility (67 with potion) and go through the tunnel, pick up some scales and teleport to Falador. Actually, you can just get a summer pie to get there with 65 agility. If you want to be cheap like me just get materials for about 30 pies and ask for 20 from anyone you know with 99 cook.
  12. I have been looking for this guide for ages, thanks for finding it.
  13. He has a point...the worlds have changed. World 2 at least. I get a 404 page not found message now.
  14. max is 750-1000 from al kharid in one hour. I wouldn't suffer anyone to see that youtube video. glad to see another f2p smither. I did that till members. 750-1k can be achieved if you click every ore yourself. Click the iron by having rune LAST... You walk to furnace like you said and then do a walk (only while switching to run screen) run to the bank. Personal best was 771 in an hour. Friend reported 1k but i doubt it.
  15. Well, i have had that problem for a long time now. I end up just slaying massive amounts of trolls or farming to get my herb exp. To do nothing but herb, you will be losing money. I have found that you can easily break even with snaps if you buy 7.5-8k ea. Buying vials for 200 ea and then collecting the eggs yourself from edgy dungeon. Just bring a glory and tele edgy. I sell pots for 8-8.5k so i end up buying half the eggs i need. Hope that helps, as you can see i haven't done it too much. Before that was collecting my own snape grass. hmm, i guess this one doesn't have siggy, i'm still 64 herb.
