A lot of times clans disagree for the silliest of reasons but hotheads on both sides can escalate the problem. Sometimes circumstances change and a clan wants to change rules, it should be more about an enjoyable war than winning every single time.

Clans die for all kinds of reasons, the leadership moves on and nobody is willing/able to step up and lead the clan as successfully(they think). They feel it's better to close on a high then close on a low. Clans close because they can no longer compete or the core has lost interest/left. When your most dedicated members go inactive that can cause a clan to close without the spine that allowed the head to work.
