F2P give nothing to jagex. The money Jagex earns from advertising comes from the advertisers, not the free players. They's not punished. They are given a free game to play, how is that a punishment? Um, I didn't write that.

:thumbsup: he said everything i came to say Let's see how many updates f2p got in 2006. I can't really count them all, but I'd say rougly around 8. 3 holiday updates and 4 graphic updates, don't forget stronghold of security.

In case you havent realised it im against jagex developing updates for f2p players. What you may not know is i am mostly a f2p player. I have been playing for 2 + (1/2) years and during that time ive had about 9 - 11 months of membership. Anyway - enough about my background and my rant about loud mouth people trying to drown out others opinions - heres my suggestion. I think that jagex should draw up a list of all the members updates that have ever been produced. Then for every 2 or 4 members updates that are released they should dig through the list and find an old members update to release to f2p. That way all the updates being developed are for members, f2p players are getting new content, and people wanting to know what members are like to see if they want to buy it will get to know what members is realy like rather than some tight bujet f2p dedicated update as jagex tries to satisfy both arguments by giving the f2p an update, but a half assed one. what do u think? Btw the way, it's ku klux klan. And I don't get what you are trying to say.

no, no, no, and no. If they want an update they can fork out 5 bucks a month. Why should my money go to someone who doesn't pay? Graphic updates and holidays are just the perfect amount.

The only reason why I don't like this update is because I can't trick the lurers as well. Nothing's better than having a full load of cabbage or ashes fall on the ground instead of that whip. I probably already said this though.

That's a good arguement. But it does not change the fact that luring is wrong and shouldn't be allowed.

I think this was a great move by jagex. Those who are cruel enough to want to take people's stuff by tricking them should be punished. I'm surprised no one has come up with a big long shameele about this article though. The lurers have shown themselves on the rants forum and recent updates forum though.

Well I went to taverly because I couldn't teleport much. I remember the night before so well. I thought members was going to be raging cities burning and people firing arrows at each other. A magic circle where I could get anything. Then I saw nothingness when I walked into taverly. But, I still love runescape.
