  5. Just listened to an instrumental version of Coldplay's "Speed of Sound" by me. Still needs some work on the keyboard part, but it's coming along. :)
  6. Thats why they do the calculations. Each flight is different so there isn't one definible forumla. If the plane crashes it is not the fat people's fault but the pilots for making a bad calculation. I don't see how this is a problem regarding the fat people. The thing is, pilots use a generic number for each passenger and their baggage- they don't calculate how much each passenger weighs exactly, nor the weight of the baggage they put on the plane. Eventually, that generic number will rise, and I'll bet we have a few weight related incidents before the FAA gets around to upping it.
  7. Regarding the overweight aircraft... yes it can be a problem. Before takeoff, pilots do many calculations involving the weight of the aircraft. One of the most important is calculation what the speed of the aircraft should be at when upon approach and landing. Either a fast or slow landing could result in a hard landing, even a crash.

  9. Runescape.
  10. During the forum issues, many recent (3 months) posts were lost, including this one I guess. I'd suggest making a new thread asking if anyone has it saved on their computer so we can continue work on it. :D
  11. Being a Mac user, I've always used AIM through Apple's program, iChat. I also use MSN, but the interfaces are extremely bulky and ugly.
  12. Looks like we might get our first second-time winner. :D
  13. Gee, there's another idea...
  14. Guess the style I like isn't the one everyone else likes... 1. ronnie_kloet 2. Nadril 3. littleboy 4. Stilev 5. runemesta
  15. You put text on there to be read, correct? Please, make it so that I don't have to spend 10 seconds deciphering it...

Save as a .png, blend the guy into the background more.
  17. Thanks both of you. Regarding the text: I just picked a simple, readable one and put it on. I don't think it looks bad...
  18. I usually get about halfway through a sig and then stop, but I managed to make it all the way through this one: I know it's a different style from what many of the other entries are.... a bit less "busy" IMO. I like it. Any feedback/advice/comments please?
  19. LOL  ... Why kill us? Sometimes it takes about 20 beta versions (yes, that many, I'm not joking, just look at FireFox and other browsers) before you get the one that sticks like spaghetti to the wall surface, and actually works!!! ....... BTW, I think we've only been through about 8 betas, so far. :D ~Mr. D. V. Devnull Yes, and Firefox has how many people on it's development team? #-o
  20. Agreed with Jopie. We've had some photomanip signature contests, and those were liked alot. By the TIF gallery standards, you could hardly call your examples a photomanip.
  21. I had loads of fun making this one: Very happy with how it turned out.
  22. Yeah, maybe something like one one in your sig?
  23. I used Ruby bracelets to get to 70... even with the slightly higher costs, its still one of the best, if not the best, way to train crafting at your level.
  24. Haha, I have a great idea for this one... might give it a go.
  25. Now there's an idea... The signatures could be made so that all users (registered or not) can use them, but registered users have the capability to upload their own poses. This also makes a punishment easier for those who abuse the system.
