  1. I've already began a list of respectable guides, you should be able to get to it through the link in my sig. If this ends up going through, I'd be happy to put more work into it.
  2. I get the feeling that you don't know any other languages besides english, or you would see how bad these computer translations really are. :?
  3. I don't know where you would put it, but could you put a note somewhere that says something along the lines of, "If you wish to have a poll added to your thread, please don't hesitate to PM a moderator or admin to request one."
  4. Correct, lol. I like a lot of the thing I see on those forums, and many of them could be easily installed here. There'd probably be some issue with doing that though.
  5. Mine looks just like that, except I only have 1 folder and the HD.
  6. That's what I've heard as well... but if you want 99, there's not many better ways.
  7. I'd recommend Shilo. You can get some reasonable cooking xp from the trout and salmon, and it's some of the fastest xp in the game. I also don't think lobsters are selling very well, but I might be wrong.
  8. I think the one you've detailed is the only way...
  9. But I like complaining! *stomps up and down* [/sarcasm](not really)
  10. Hey look, it's icecube! I always looked up to you when I was always in H&A... icecube the know-it-all, lol. On topic... Yeah, but Sith explained what locking threads does... So... I don't know. Maybe it's an unsolvable problem...
  11. *Quietly calls Lee a noob* Well, you wanted, you waited, you worked, you received. Gratz. :)
  12. The main issue with post count seems to be "Quality over Quanity..." Is there some way to reward a good post rather than the post just being there?
  13. *Scolds* See what I mean?
  14. Yeah, I remember that... One can still wish, can't they? :P Perhaps Help and Advice be added to this list?? The reason H&A is not on that list it because of what it says at the bottom, "posts in these forums are one line, or even one word, and do not constitute "worthy" posts." Posts in H&A are considered worthy posts, for obvious reasons. I don't know what other people think about H&A (especially the ones I'm trying to target) but I used to always look at H&A as a way to get some easy post count. I rarely, if at all, did "+1" posts, I just answered questions to the best of my knowledge. Of course, that was before others noticed H&A as, I'm assuming, a easy way to get some post count. I stopped visiting H&A for a while because all the questions were getting answered so quickly... but others stayed, and I'm assuming some of these are the ones that are doing these "+1" kind of posts. Lot of assuming and guessing in there... :ohnoes:
  15. I think convincing him would be quite easy. About post count... What's the use of it? I use it to see how much I should trust people... generally. Also help in H&A so you know who kinda know their stuff. For H&A though, maybe we could have some sort of user rating thing? If a person answers a question in a helpful manner, the questioner could give that person a point, or something. I guess it still doesn't really solve the problem though...
  16. Hmm... why can't we just get rid of post count? It'd make life so much easier... :P
  17. Thats just what I was thinking... but I sometimes see questions where there is still good discussions even after the author has got his/her answer.
  18. So... recently I've been seeing things like this in the Help and Advice forum all too much. What's wrong, you say? Well, take a look. "Paaaaarker" asked a reasonable question, then it was answered by "icecube". "Paaaaarker" once again posted to say that he understood the answer, and that should of been the end. Nope. *No offense to the following players, as I said before I see this quite often, an even did it myself some when I was new here.* "meol" posted next, essencially just saying what "icecube" said before. And then the final straw for me, "alphakoldes" comes in and says that the above two are correct and welcomes "Paaaaarker" to members. Why, thanks for the welcome, but it's better suited for his blog. Get my point? Any idea on how to solve the problem?
  19. I have a friend that does this... no problems.
  20. Kaphias replied to icecube's topic in Help and Advice
I'd wait at least until Summoning is realized so you can see what will happen to prices.
  21. That's what I always used. If you find that you are getting hit to much damage, there is a nice rage spot there as well.
  22. Looks either like a roll of bubble wrap or a x-rayed bottle of pills. Nice colors, especially on the second one.
  23. Hm... what about this. Prayer pots to 55, then Super Strength pots from 55 on?
  24. What about super attacks?
