I have read the replies since my last post and believe that this needs to be said: I am not saying F2P don't deserve updates because if they didn't it would be unlikly that f2p would be there. I was simply saying that there are many ways around the problem of not having enough bank space. In reply to people who have said why dont p2p clear out their banks (one of these if penguingeek3 i believe) I think you will find that some do. If you can imagine all the stuff zezima has I'm sure he has to go through his bank every so often to make a little space so Jagex have thought of long time players who can't afford to get rid of anything in their bank by making more space for the new skill. Finaly things that are used for skills can be used up without having to be half finished. e.g. If you are mining and smithing then use up all the bars you make and sell the products and sell the ores you still have left over. This would mean that uncuts could be cut and then sold straight away or made into rings etc. In reply to penguingeek3 who said why did f2p get other updates this year. I did say f2p are lucky to be involved in events (meaning holidays please read properly before saying its a load of rubbish) and the only other updates I know of where graphical updates like the icons for the side bar etc. I do understand what it is like to have none of the p2p benifits as i have only been a member for 3 months and for a year before that i was f2p and this made me so annoyed at one point that it made me stop playing until mid august this year. So please when people say that members know nothing of what it is like to be f2p (In the way you were saying that what i suggested about being careful of content of the bank being a load of rubbish) Please remember we have most been there and I never had problems with my bank filling up because I was careful. EDIT: I will have a quick look through this thread as I remember there being a letter for us to copy and send in and I will send it in and try to help you all out.

no_username4 I had a look at your bank and think you could clear at least ten bank slots by getting rid of stuff: 1. Sapphires can be sold 2. Rubys can be sold 3\ 4! 5} clear out slots of food. you can stick to the food that creates the most 6! healing and selling some will get you even more money. 7/ 8. the iron or mith just make up your mind on what your making. 9. Diamonds can be sold. 10. Is that a spinning plate because you probably dont use it and you can get one from diango if you realy want it back. I could possible go on and tell you more because like you said you can sell the addy and the emeralds. depending on what the keys are for you could possible get rid of them. Right I can answer this easily. Like I suggested Jagex make holiday and random event stuff not count towards bank limits. I have also shown you how to be more careful by not putting stuff that you honestly dont need in your bank through the example of no_username4's bank. I can answer this if I just make the part of what you quoted bold. What I said was if they can put up with more ads it is likely they will get more bank space and I think you will find that file size has nothing to do with it because as im sure you know they need a lot more space for a full new skill than some peoples bank and it is only 1 line of text in a file that says an item is in the bank. Finally here is a pic of my bank as a member with nothing missing. Here is what an F2p version of my bank would have but there is still more that can go. Its the same pic just with bits cut out that where members only.

I'm from england and i dont know but i think ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã3.20 is a little more than $5 so if you realy think that there should be a cheaper version then move to america (if your not already there) and pay for members. The reason for ads is mainly to keep f2p going and has nothing to do with updates or anything like that so remember that and think that members are also paying when f2p get the events like the halloween one and that servers take more money than ads generate so members are paying for that as well. Sorry to say this but what is the point in changing it. I agree with the guy that said about the skill cape but i also believe that there should be no changes at all. Maybe a few more quests that require the skill (not just sea slug quest) and ones that have a minor use. Maybe even some sort of fire arrows but none of this silly burn gloves (i believe this is like effects of paralasis from pokemon) or walls of fire becasue it would change it to a combat skill. Sorry to say it but its a silly idea.

Sorry if you dont want messages saying its a bad idea but many of the things you have said you use your bank to store you dont even need to store. I do agree that holiday items take up way too much space and I think that these should not count towards bank space but even if you keep all of your quest items it doesnt take up that much space. I have done all of the f2p quests and have none of the items from them in my bank anymore as they are not needed. I also think that keeping ores and other things like that is not needed as there is nothing to stop you just mining them when you need them. If you also do mage,range and melee then you probably do have a lot of stuff but it cant be so much that you can more than fill your bank 1/3 with it. I would also like to suggest that most f2p players should probably go through their bank once in a while and get rid of some of their junk as this can keep it a little less full. So in conclusion I believe that holiday items should not take up bank spaces and that f2p should be a bit more careful with what they put in their bank. Finally I know you dont want comments like this but you do get what you pay for and Jagex do get their $50 million a month to update members things and not to make free updates and free members are already lucky in the way that they are involved in most events. The only way for f2p to be given more bank space is if they can put up with more ads that to be honest when i was f2p i ignored. Edit: I also believe that f2p saying it is a long way to go to get event costumes etc. should try getting members for a month and then walking from the deepest part of the desert to yanille as i have done this twice and it has nearly made me give up runescape because of how boring that is so please dont complain until you have tried this.

I think it is time someone e-mailed them to tell them but what this person needs to do is say first that hey are emaiing the idea so that it gets looked at and say it has loads of support and finaly give them a link to page 1 of this topic. If I knew the e-mail address I would do it but I have no idea what it is.

well said falconerd. I couldn't agree more. I still think that Jagex should take notice of what we are all saying. P.S. Has a mod pmed or email someone from jagex.

Problem with posting in rs forums is that people are continuously making topics so it would be on page 5 within 5 mins of being there so it would be ignored mostly.

How about you forget about the skills because if someone is that desperate they can ask you and then why not make some sort of market area where you can post the item you are selling and how much for and it can stay there until it is sold or until you decide your not going to sell it and the money goes straight to your bank. (this idea could be developed so that it works better) I dont have anything against your idea its just that its a bit dodgy because it can still be messed up by alot of chat. I will try to make some pics of my idea. (nothing like your because to be honest I dont know how to do them like that)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Lets see.... I dont know where to start...... Ok now I do It's a good idea but it needs alot more thought to be put into it because you cant just make some quest that links you to another game altogether. There could be some sort of portal that if you enter it downgrades the graphics and loads the rsc map but the interface could be generaly the same as changing your skills every time you change versions would take alot of thought from each server which could create lagg and also it means that people might go into the rsc area and the rs2 verson might die off that little bit that it becomes less fun for some people. Finally I think the reason rsc is still accessible to some is that Jagex wanted to keep it for people who had put effort into it and diddent want to just through that away its like people who have kept old and classic games consoles like nintendo 64 because they enjot them and it reminds them of good times. P.S. Sorry if some of this makes no sense but im tired and should realy get off to bed but cant be asked.

Please tell us what jagex say and if they just joke we can all send it in at the same time.

I dont have high enough mining to get the guild yet (wish i did) but i didnt think it was crowded that much that it needs changing. Also adding rooms with different requirements takes away the idea of getting the level then getting straight in like all the other guilds it just adds more people who will go there if there are more rocks so it will just make it more crowded. This is just what I think becaus e as I said I cant even get in there yet. But I have to say some changes need to be made (mix it with smithing guild and add furnaces and anvils and higher level rocks eg 3 rune 5 addy 8 mith)

Alot of you are saying that the entire of runescape is like a giant wc guild but what if you make an area somewhere remote like in the wildy (not too far in) so that there is somewhere for people to wc in peace which autoers will find harder to get to (even though i read somewhere that it is easy to trace autoers) Also make it so that there are only like 5-6 mage trees 14-15 yews etc (just a few more than there are around seers) so that prices wont change too much. If this was introduced like this I think it would sort most of the problems you have all said.

you have to enter your pin to get in your house and you cant use stuff in building mode so whats the problem I think your just asking for what is technicaly already there.

I totally disagree with this as when I first started playing the game I found it boring and played it for about 2 months before dropping it for about a year but now i have started playing again and cant stop playing. If this idea had been introduced before I would have lost th elevels that I had put two months into getting and would have had to start again which probably would have discouraged me even more to continue playing.

I said the idea was pointless and pretty much a waste of time compared to some other updates we need much more back on like page 12 or something lol. I stand by that, whats wrong with the current bank? if you cant organise your bank with the current system your a grade A moron and jagex shouldnt cater there updates to suit some one with the iq of a house plant. If you hate it so much, why do you keep coming back? First of all this is a brilliant idea and it can accomodate everyone even those [wagon]es that sort their bank their own way like gloibin says. I also agree that there are other things that jagex could be doing in their time but if this topic has been going for one year then its obviously a good idea that should be made to work. Next I want to know if you organise your bank everytime you take out an item because to be honest you would have tot o keep your bank tidy which means it takes you half an hour to just take your dragon battle axe out of your bank and this could cut that time to lets say as long as it takes to withdraw the item. I havent read every page and this my first post so I don't know what ideas have been suggested apart from what is said on the first page. I think your charity idea should be brought back and what happens is that when an item is donated it is changes to money and then divided between the poorest of players. This might not work due to people not donating though. P.s. Thagern don't let them get at you because you have kept this going for a year and that means you have put a lot of work into it and also have you or any mods tried emailing recently because they may have differefnt staff from the last time you tried (I dont know when this was) that may take you a bit more seriously and state in the email that you dont want to put it in suggestions because they rarely go through and look at every post and most people just find problems and dont try to support you.
