if youre near falador barbarian villliage edgeville or even varroc you could use the mine cart in dwarven mines provided you started the giant dwarf quest i use this an awful lot

for a range wepon you can do a dennis the menis type catapult thing or a water pistol but for a meele wepon you could do a pen remeber (the pen is mightier than the sword)
