  1. Talking about Mos'Le Harmless, I think it's not only a play on HHGTTG but the way it's written also references Mos Eisley from Star Wars.
  2. most of the above, PLUS: i really really really hate whenever jagex puts a new skill / quest into the game and hordes of people rush to try it out without reading the knowledge base article first... that's what the darn runescape.com page is for! if i had just one dollar for every idiot who asked me questions like "where can i hunt" or "where can i buy bird traps" recently i'd be a happy man.
  3. yanille is great. you can lay 27 fires in a row on the road that starts north of the bank, and it's broad enough to lay three lines in parallel so you'll always have place to start a new line without running into ashes or still burning fires.
  4. i think what the guys were talking about was that jagex fixed the bug that allowed you to get certain random clothes twice if you had them in your costume room (as the randoms only used to check your bank).
  5. ogres and dagannoths drop herb seeds too.
  6. i'll put in some appearances starting next week as noob_guy_023 \
  7. fake *grrr* well, i dropped some rings for those who waited with me in vain
  8. not true, i had a mime event just today. got mime top and boots too \
  9. if time permits i'll try to be there too. i'll also drop some enchanted jewelry (rings and amulets) as a donation \ if i'm not mistaken it should be at 8pm CET, right? :-k feel free to add me (rs name rev_orison)
  10. i never find anything good :( but just now i picked up 13 red salamanders someone had dropped at zanaris bank \
  11. all halberds are two handed.
  12. it IS in the tip.it guide, but not in the riddles" section since "speak to" clues aren't riddles ;)
  13. wow, impressive work. i have two additions: 1. i think pirate's treasure -> rum deal -> cabin fever counts as a loose storyline because the player keeps getting more access to the world of pirates in runescape as he progresses through these, and i think we will very probably see more pirate quests in the future. 2. rag and bone man -> ??? the mystery of the mumbling voice that commands the old man from inside the sack of bones has yet to be resolved. plus, there's his cryptic remarks about world changing events after you finish the wish list (kinda like the stuff spouted by people about to summon powerful demons). add to this the fact that he now has a nice collection of bones from all kinds of monsters and i think this storyline will sooner or later deal with powerful necromancy :ohnoes: this sounds like another job for malignius mortifer too \
  14. IIRC any other weapon than the enchanted secateurs hits constant 0s on the tanglefoot. but it's been a while since i played the quest, so i might be mistaken.
  15. it's an abbreviation for "nota bene", which is latin for "note well", in other words, the following stuff is important ;)
  16. there's a teak and mahogany plantation at tai bwo village, though you have to pay murcaili for access (100 trading sticks iirc). no bank nearby but there's the parcel service in the village (plus a fairy ring to the south that takes you to zanaris bank if you've done fairy tale part 2). also, if you've done both throne of miscellania and royal trouble, you can get both teak and mahogany from the kingdom's workers.
  17. i just returned from The Treasure Trail From Hell . so i have this lvl 3 clue with coordinates on it. a quick look at the locator shows kharazi jungle. so i buy a new machete, go there, dig, kill a saradomin wizard and get my casket. inside is - of course - another clue. i read it and it's another freaking set of coordinates. so i'm like "huh? two wizards in a row?" this time it's the northern edge of the wilderness, nw of the wildy agility course. :ohnoes: having recently been pwned by a group of pkers while going after a wildy clue (aside: yeah, you guys are REAL heroes, attacking a single player with a group of five people) i am very wary about the wild, so i take basically nothing but the clue requirements, a d long and food. ardougne lever - deserted keep - go south - and i sulk along the bone fence like a thief in the night, both eyes on the minimap and the mouse on the logout button (yeah, all you heroic pkers can call me a coward now). i reach my destination, dig, and am of course attacked by the obligatory zammy wiz. poor old me, being unarmored, is seriously hurt by his spells, but i take him out (he drops a zammy robe bottom btw - thanks for nothing). i dig up my casket and RUN LIKE HELL out of the wilderness. back in falador, i feel safe enough to open the darn thing and immediately i go "WTF??!!! i've just been to hell and back for this!" yeah, you guessed it: yet ANOTHER coordinate clue. this time it points to the gnome shipyard, so i fly to karamja and bury another sara wiz. by now i am fully expecting a clue back into the wildy, but to my surprise it's only a map of west ardougne. and this time it's finally the loot. i now present to you the wages of fear: while the spoils may not look like much to the high level players out there, for me this is a major find (esp since this means only one more page and my first prayer book will be complete). worth killing three god mages for. i now have a rune kite (t) and a zammy kite and i can't decide which one looks better. i love 'em both
  18. in my experience, being as light as possible helps. so bank your armour and weapons and try crossing the bridge with just boots of lightness, the clue, a spade and - if needed - sextant / watch / map.
