new map clue, not west ardy.
That actually is the West Ardougne clue, it's just been graphically updated. Trust me, I had that one just the other day.

The strange voices in the ruins
To those who complain that "a charming adventure" sounds too cutesy to relate to the scary ghost voices: could be a pun. This is Jagex, after all. Perhaps the quest gives lots of summoning charms as a reward? Or even a new way of gathering charms in the wilderness?

Behind The Scenes July
Okay, bank organization definitely takes the cake. Has been overdue for a long time, and sounds very good - tabs and a search feature. If Jagex don't fuxx0r this up completely, could easily be the best upgrade ever. As for the Lumbridge diary, here's a theory for you: so far both existing diaries gave a piece of clothing as a reward - Karamja Gloves and Varrock Armour. Now, we have recently seen a lot of speculation about the "mystery cape" from the new RS banner... put 2 and 2 together and what do you get? LUMBRIDGE CAPE anyone? Oh, and on an unrelated note:

New Runescape Banner Hint
Good find... yet another pirate quest perhaps? Or perhaps a pirate "rank" system like the White Knight ranks you can gain? Another piratical minigame?

New Runescape Banner Hint
The island definitely looks like Crandor. So, yes, it seems like whatever this is, it's related to Dragon Slayer. Elvarg's mother coming to take revenge for the death of her offspring perhaps?

What constitutes a full set?
Right at the very top of the Knowledge Base article is a HUGE link that says "Item Sets". Seriously, I see no way how anybody could have missed that unless they didn't even bother skimming the KB article. And I don't think I'm being a "jerk" here. If everybody just took the time to read the info Jagex release with every update, a lot of questions I keep seeing ingame or on forums would simply answer themselves. So I am, in fact, effectively offering "help and advice" ;)

What constitutes a full set?
I think they do it to have some theme to discuss here :) Oh, silly me. I assumed the GE would be topic enough for the next couple of weeks :D

What constitutes a full set?
Why doesn't anybody ever read the information Jagex provide on their updates (like, you know, the Knowledge Base) before asking other players to spoon-feed it to them?

Jagex is ruining the game for higher level players.
Quick! To the Whinemobile! :boohoo:

Clue - Beckon in digsite
The "beckon in digsite" clue does not ask for an iron hammer, but an iron pickaxe. Either buy from the pickaxe shop in the dwarven mines or simply descend the eastern winch in the digsite and pick one up; there is a spawn at the bottom of the shaft. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=treasure_trails.htm#emote

November 5th Assist System.
They aren't. It might be a good idea to read the KB article about a new feature before commenting on it. :-w

November 5th Assist System.
Sounds interesting... but a bit more complicated than I was expecting after BTS. Anyway, I think TIF should put up a sticky for "Offer or Request Assistance Services" that would work like the "House Services" sticky... would make it a lot easier to find someone with the necessary skill levels willing to assist with a specific task.

ROFL :XD: :XD: :XD: If this was really a message from a J-Mod, said mod is now my favorite Jagex employee. It really was what a J-Mod said. I love Jagex humor

A Newish Trend in Quests
The Path of Glouphrie was released on 03-Sep-2007 I do agree, however, that Plague City and Rise of the Red Axe need to be continued ASAP.

Wasn't that the Gilgamesh GF in Final Fantasy VIII? Man, I loved that game. Got me a PSX just to play it.

Hellhounds
Never, ever Burthorpe Hellhounds. They are nice xp with no danger at all since they can be safely ranged or hallied and they are good droppers of lvl 3 clue scrolls.

Need some ideas for my main :S
Last time I got bored, I took up Barrows (yes, it took me until combat 104 before I dared set foot in there), which turned out to be quite fun. It all depends on your tastes. If you like combat, you could spend some time with CW or PC. If you're into interaction with other players, a team-based noncombat minigame like Trouble Brewing might be for you. Then of course there's always quests (yes, I admit it, I like quests, even though that clearly puts me in the minority in tif - quest cape ftw). Or - since you also mentioned needing money - put some time into the gathering skills like woodcutting or fishing. The skills themselves are boring as hell, but if you're on a good world with nice people you can get some entertaining conversations.

Shilo or Zaniris Slayer Master?
What I hate about Duradel (Shilo) is that he keeps giving me Brine Rat and Kalphite assignments... seriously, every other assignement is one of those... yeah, nice and easy xp, but also booooring. Apart from that, I recommend Duradel simply because the direct access with Karamja Gloves 3 beats fairying around to Zanaris after every task ;)

The New Year Update
Okay, here's a translation back into English from a native German speaker: "Last but not least we want to inform you that something very, very big is looming on the horizon. In the new year a stunning update awaits you, one with which we are so content that we might possible give you some hidden clues during the next weeks..." The places where the German text differs from the English one do so because of idioms that just work differently in German. I still say there are no hidden messages here.
