good. I have.. I cried at the end when the hound and the main character died leaving her brother and the princess to live... Also I do not remember that which Halo speaks of. The only important "hound" in the series is a human and only one of the direwolves die sepparate from their owner... Then there's the fact that there are more than 15 main/point-of-view characters. I think you've mistanken the series. I have read the series.. the entire series... The hound was some awesome fightin guy who was supposed to marry some princess.. cept that the girl actually danced with him instead of the spoilt princess and he fell in love with her because she was more interesting.. and then her bother fell in love with the princess.. and then i thoght it'd be some love story where they marry each other and live happily ever after but no... that didn't happen.. instead.. some fighting begins at the palace and the hound and the girl escape off into the desert or something and the brother and the princess escape.. and there i'm thinking that the story will finally get interesting and have some..uh.. chemistry between the hound and the girl.. but apparently the author likes unresolved sexual tension and likes making readers get frustrated at nothing happening.. I think the hound and the girl exchanged a few.. kisses.. but whatever.. Anyways.. after that.. somehow the hound dies.. can't remember how.. maybe he didn't.. whatever.. he doesn't contribute anymore to the story. and then the girl sacrifices her life when they're finally on the island so that her brother can live happily... with the princess.. and then you get a scene where the brother and the girl both want to die.. and they can't live without each other etc because they're twins... and no one would ever come between them because they're twins.. and there's some crap and whatnot.. and I start wondering if there's some incest coming.. but.. remember the author likes unresolved sexual tension.. so the girl gives up her life.. and everyone can supposedly live happily.. and the brother marries the princess.. and keeps his dead ghost of a sister as some kind of mistress as he's somehow still in contact with her because she didn't die off properly or something.. and the siblings actually have another baby sister who is alive and well..and who becomes powerful... And then at this point I'm checking to see if there's anything more to the story.. but there isn't.. you're right.. I never read the series.
