Only went to church 2 times in my life, don't believe in god. Yet I know who Jesus is don't I ?! As for presidents, that's exactly my point. And how old are you? If I remember right ( I haven't seen the movie recently) the kids on the movie were pretty young. I'm sure they know who Jesus is but maybe have not seen a picture of him. It just doesn't surprise me.

If you play an instrument that may help. When I'm playing piano I feel pretty relaxed. I usually dont want to go practice piano but when I start to get into it it relaxes me.

I was more surprised that some of the kids couldnt recognize some of the presidents more than that they couldnt recognize Jesus. If you dont go to Church or grow up in a Christian house hold as a kid then you may not know what Jesus looks like.

What part of "all powerful" dont you understand? I understand every word of it. What part of "proof to the contrary" or how about "where is your proof, anyways?" don't you understand? No need to get snippy, Mister. There are logical thinkers, and then there are people who just say "The Bible says so." which isn't a logical argument at all. You're not taking into account that the Bible could very well be fiction mixed in with historical places. Yes, said places existed, but that doesn't mean there is a God in the sky lookin' down on us, does it? I have nothing against people who believe in God, but at least have a reason other than "The Bible says so."...I believe there could be a God, but I'm also not a guppy. I'm not going to sit back and not question it, because when you don't question it, you turn into one of those "The Bible says so." drones that take no part in logical discussions because they feel they're better than that. That they don't NEED to explain anything, because afterall, "the Bible says so." Did you read my earlier post? I was making a hypothetical situation. IF the bible is true (like many Christians believe) and IF God is all powerful like the Bible says then why couldnt he stop genetic defects from happening?

The rule against incest would have been established after the time of Adam and Eve wouldnt it? If that where the case the Bible's morality would not be absolute as it's subject to change at any time. Therefore holding any form of society on the basis that the Bible is absolute you are infact holding it on subjective and deeply conservative morals. Possibly, but from what I've read it seems like God made a moral code for humans to follow after the Earth was populated. There still subjective then, God could therefore change them at any time in the future. Absolute means morals stay the same throughout ALL time. Did I say they were absolute? I think your the one who started talking about them being absolute. I was just trying to tell lordkrahn that I dont think God considered adam and eve incestuous. Hate to ask, but post a picture? What you are describing could be interpreted as several different things. But I'd need a visual to compare. I miss riding Big Wheels.

I finally got those hunks of metal off two days ago. I absolutely love having nice smooooth teeth, but for some reason my front two teeth are really dark (almost a grey hew) and the Orthodontist took an X-ray and said they are healthy, so I dont really know whats up with that. Anyone have an idea?

My school holds a blood drive every year, but I wont be able to give because Its right in the middle of my sports season.

Yea there is a foot of snow on the ground and it is still snowing hard. Kind of cool and kind of annoying at the same time. I hate driving in this stuff.

My dog got loose on my grandparent's farm once and chased down a chicken into the field (this was the first time he has ever been on a farm so we were not sure what he would do). We thought for sure he was going to attack it but when we caught up with him we found he had just cornered the bird and was barking at it from a foot away. :roll: My dog also snorts alot... We should probably get that checked out... or something.
