I dont have much of a social circle anymore. alot of my friends have and are moving this month, leaving me with something like 2-3 good friends left, only 1 living nearby. I'm slowly turning into a hermit, the very thing I hate ;__;

In the Microsoft world we call it "Disc Check". It checks the Hard Drive for corrupt areas known as sectors. when you have a lot of them the Hard Drive tries to keep reading it even though its more messier then Lindsay Lohan's career. What it'll do it tell your hard drive "Stop being a dumb arse, that area's off limits to touch", so it stops trying to read dead areas. TL;DR - Speeds the Hard Drive up.

Im trying to compress and zip a folder full of images. I tried doing it with WinRAR but it didn't compress anything. It went from Folder(21.4MB) to Folder.rar(21.3MB) Is there any reason as to why it doesn't want to compress anything? Running Windows SP3 XP 32Bit by the way with latest WinRAR patch.

Harassed the Army tonight. Job hunting, house cleaning, abuse by parents and discovered my friend who I was supposed to move up to QLD with, is taking someone else now.
