What are you talking about dude? All you gotta do is kill queen 1 time.. and you can just purchase a million G bodies more.. I believe. Do they have it set up where you kill her 1 time, then you can purchase a G body at you have to go and kill queen again to get another one? If that is the case.. that sucks really bad. ~Defender~

People STILL play PC because you can get a insane amount of XP. People STILL play Castle Wars because its PvP without loosing items and "okay" rewards. People DON'T play BA because after you leveled up your charater, you can only gamble your reward points, you also get 0 xp while your in there the whole time. So after you basically done it all.. all you got left is to gamble = waste of time = dead mini game. ~Defender~

Is this a good strategy for BA?
A level 5 healer can hold his own at queen. I am a level 4 Defender now.. the only thing that bugs me about healers is not using the horn and giving me the udpates every 30 seconds.. messes up my lure strategy alot. ~Defender~

How long do you think it would take to..
If you was a completely new member but had all the stat requirements for each and every quest already available.. how long do you think it would take you to complete all quests? It takes a average about 1 hour per quest.. with over 100 quests.. thats like.. over 3 days. But you need sleep.. so probably 1 week to complete all quests from the start. What do you guys think? ~Defender~

Its not a time based game, so if you can get points for healing.. why not kill all the runners first.. and then let all the other monsters stay alive pounding you for a good 10-30 minutes and have the healers heal you.. maximize your points and then complete? So many flaws, lol. :-k #-o ~Defender~

What i am saying is that when you play Defender, you get Defender Points.. which cannot be used to upgrade attacker/healer/collector levels which it should be, so peopel will continue to play the class. Otherwise, people will play healer, even though they love Defender, just to get their healing level up. ~Defender~

How well do you play your role in BA?
No, actually its still a 50-50 Chance. Usually the healer when very first starting gives you the correct food. After the update, its not going to be the same food type, so you have 2 other choices, making it 50-50. If you find the correct one, "which you should, because if the monster says "bluggh" you know its the other food type", then its another 50-50 chance after the update again. ~Defender~

What are your Tactics with your team in BA? Do you have a communicator to call out the information? Do you have 2 Healers instead of 2 attackers? What does your Collector attack? Do you let someone else use the cannon? Does your Attacker kill the melee or range first? Post your Tactics here! btw, here is mine. Team: 1 Att, 1 Col, 1 Heal, 2 Def *The Game Starts* Attacker Tactics: Constantly update the Collector. The timer for things to update/change is 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, fill in the collector with new information, this is more vital than killing monsters. As a Attacker, your secondary objective is choosing between killing Rangers or Melee. I suggest Rangers. Why? Because Rangers can halt your team from firing the cannon if a ranger is attacking on that team member. Melee cannot stop them from doing this and you can easily avoid melee fighters. Another tactic to prevent Failed attacks is stop attacking after 28 seconds, wait for the change, then continue to attack. Recap: 1. Update the Collector every 30 seconds. This is first priority. 2. Kill All Rangers and then Kill all Melee. 3. After 28 Seconds, Stop attacking, wait for the updated information and continue. Collector Tactics: The most vital role is to update your Attacker every 30 seconds. Without informing him quickly, he will be useless. Not only that, the longer it takes for you to blow the horn and give him updated information, the more chances he will have of "failed" attacks, making your team lose precious honor points in their roles. As a Collector, your job or mission is to fill up the cannon so players or you may fire on any creature in the field. You have 2 opportunities here, which you may freely choose to decide based on the case of your situation in each game. You may first, fill up your inventory with eggs to easily reload the cannon at fast space speeds. Or you may choose to use whats already loaded in the cannon to kill Runners. Runners must be the first target killed out of all monsters. Defenders have the hardest of all roles and Runners that escape will make you lose points. All other monsters however, can be killed within the arena at any time. Runners should be a priority on your monster kill list. To Recap: 1. Update your attackers information every 30 seconds. 2. When firing the cannon, Kill Runners First. 3. Fill your inventory up on eggs to constantly reload. Healer Tactics: The healers job is to heal others, update the Defender, and kill penance healers. The first thing a healer MUST do is update the Defender. If you fail to update your Defenders information, he is completely useless and alot of runners will scatter away, making the team lose points. Every 30 seconds, make sure you call out the new food he needs to drop, or he is completely useless. Defenders are heavily relied on healers. Your second objective is to heal players. Always target the low level players first, as they tend to die quicker and faster. You can freely heal the high levels 90+ and up at any other time as they will not die as fast. Your third objective, if the cannon is loaded, is to kill runners to help out the Defenders. Your forth objective, after all monsters are dead, is to kill the penance healers. Recap: 1. Update your Defender every 30 seconds. 2. Heal your Teammates. 3. Kill Runners with Cannon. 4. Kill Healer Penances. Defender Tactics: The Defender has the hardest of all roles because if he does not do it effectively, the team loses out on points. Its the only job that cannot be "controlled" by players. For example: If a Defender sits there.. all the runners escapes and the team loses out on points. This is the only role in which cannot be directly controlled. As a Defender, you have many choices upfront to start. You can dash into the front lines and grab some logs to barricade the holes or grab some food to start luring. From my experience, barricading the holes does stop the penance from rushing it, but your dealing with the inevitable, the barricades are time based and will eventually colasped followed by a instant spawn penance. Instead, Priorty one should be to get bait and start luring. There is no neccessity to update your healer as this is done last. After killing 2 runners, quickly grab some logs and a hammer and repair the trap, and lure some more. Refill food as needed. Once all the runners are killed, start updating your healer. After that, set up barricades. I only suggest a defender barricading early if there is 2 in the team. To Recap: 1. Get bait and start luring. 2. Get a Hammer and 2 logs after traps are broken and fix them. 3. After all runners are dead, update your healer. 4. Start Barricading or be a Communicator through the Horn of Glory. Well, those are my tactics.. post yours if I haven't already stoled them >.< lol. ~Defender~

Thats the dangerious thing about being a Defender. Healers are embewed with heavy mangament and easily forget to update the Defender. The Defenders is COMPLETELY useless inless you get the update information! Pennance healers can be killed as the last bosses but runners.. well.. make a run for it! And your only way of stopping them is luring with the right bait. The only thing you can do is when your healers are not updating you is try to lure them with bad food.. but if they eat it, they say "bluggh" and start to ignore your drops. ~Defender~

Edit: Kama your right.. once you hit level 5, people do not enjoy it anymore because they get 0 XP for leveing up the other guys such as Healers/Attacker/Collector. You should still be able to get points and spend them on whatever you want IMO. Then we would have level 5 defenders still defending, ect. ~Defender~

You need to sorta update your post a bit more. Like Bold the Problems and Color the Solutions? A Bit hard to read. Here is a few current problems. As it stands.. the most difficult problem in BA is forming and containing a Team. You can be invited and join multiple teams at the same time. Not only that, if your the leader, its hard to delete team members. You also have 0 information on your current teams standing, as who is in the team, who is out, ect. Here is my Solution to the problem. When you walk into the Random Room where anyone can join and be any role.. it shows you X amount of Attackers, Healers, Collectors, Defenders at the top right of the screen. Did a light just pop in your head? It should have! #-o This is EXCATLY how it should be when you are in a team! Rules: 1. When accepted into a team, you cannot be accepted into any other team inless you leave your current team. 2. You may not pick up a recruitment scroll if you are in a team. 3. Team Leaders should have a Icon over their head to show that they are hosting a team. 4. Players should have the ability to ask for a invitation than waiting for the Leader to use a scroll on them. Right Click - Invitation to Join. As for letting your Team know about your Current Teams Standing, it should look like this. ----------------------------------------------------------------- | Leader: Defender | Role: Defender lvl 3 | Player 2: Joseph - Kick? | Role: Attacker lvl 2 | Player 3: X9Cole - Kick? | Role: Healer lvl 4 | Player 4: Empty - N/A | Role: N/A | Player 5: Empty - N/A | Role: N/A | | | | | | | | | | | ----------------------------------------------------------------- That would be a heck of alot informative, and let the players know who is in the team and who left. Currently when you join a team, you don't know if your still in it or not after a minute or two.. making other players search for other teams. ~Defender~

I thought of a idea.. but its so well thought out, it voids out 90% of the RS Population and can only be used by Guilds and TeamPlayers who work well. I say this simpley because you can only imagine how to explain this to someone.. I call this role the "Communicator". The communicator can play any role.. Attacker, Defender, Collector.. or Healer, but only because he or she will not be playing that role. Instead, they go to the Horn of Glory, and their position is to give all 4 positions the details on what they are suppose to do. This leaves the 4 guys in the battlefield constantly updated.. and no need to blow their own horn because the communicator is handling that. ~Defender~

How can the healer be easier than a attacker? Attacker has to kill stuff and update the collector.. thats 2 roles. Healer has to kill Penance Healers, Heal People, Update Defender which is 3 roles. Not to mention the trouble actually finding the people to heal them and running back and forth filling up viles. They have a much more management role than a attacker. ~Defender~

How well do you play your role in BA?
Level 3 Defender here.. tried it last night. Out about 6 to 7 hours of it.. this is my opinion on it. Attacker - The EASIEST class to play. Attack stuff and use the horn when neccessary to update the healer.. it can't be any much simpler. Collector - Second to easiest. Has to collect eggs, fill them in a cannon and let others/or himself pound stuff to hell. One of the more vital roles in the game, however, because the cannon can take out any creature. Without it, you would only have healers killing peneance healers and defenders killing runners. Nice to have a cannon as backup when others are already finished with their role. Healer - Third place in management. Pretty hard to manage though. You have to Heal your party members, not to mention find them first. Keep your vial filled at all times and call out information to the defender and take out the penance healers. I believe Jagex put alot at stake on here.. but at the same time, the penance healers can be killed last.. so there is no rush to kill them. So if you consider that, you only have to heal and call out information, and then when all monsters are dead, tackle the penance healers. Defender - The hardest mangament and most unenjoyable roles. Lure Runers, Fixing Traps, and Barricades. This is the hardest role to play, but I am starting to enjoy it strangely. Lure Runers is not easy. They don't follow your drops items 100% of the time, its more like 50-50. The trap breaks only after 2 kills so you find yourself running for more wood/logs. Then you have to update the healer and barricade the walls. On a personal note, I stop barricading because they are "timed" barricades. After you put them up, they are destroyed automaticly after 30 seconds and a monster spawns instantly, making it quite useless. There should be "phases" in which the barricade is about to break and you can strengthin it. So out of all the roles, it seems that its a 2 way catch. Attacker Informs Collector and Collector informs Attack. Healer Informs Defender and Defender informs Healer. Attacker and Collectors has it easiest. They do not have heavy management as a Healer or a Defender.. yet most teams consist of having 2 Attackers? This is not a time based game. You do not lose points for finish 1 hour later or gain points for finishing too fast. So its best to have 1 extra person take off management in the healer or defender class instead of attacker or collector. In my personal opinion, I believe most games except the very last one should consist of 2 Defenders at all times. I say this because the Healer is not at a lost. All he has to do the whole round is heal people.. and then kill the penance healers last with updates from the Defender. The Defender however.. has a hard role. He must get constant feed back from the Healer or he cannot successfully lure.. You may think this is not a hard thing right? Wrong. Even when you use the correct bait to lure.. they don't always take it. They walk closer and closer to the exit while your screaming and pulling out your hair saying "TAKE IT YOU STUPID RUNNER MORN!! AGHGHH". Then there is times when you do lure them successfuly close to the traps.. only for the bait to change and the healer not to update the information. Now try doing this with only 1 Defender and 4 Runners on the field.. your team is going to lose points! So it is my suggestion that all teams get 2 defenders. They can either both lure together.. or 1 can barricade up while the other lures, making sure that not to many runers are present.. or 1 can fix stuff while the other lures. Talk about your BA experiences and your role here.. and what difficulities you find with your task or others! ~Defender~
