  1. Broken Cart near Fremenick "yup.. this is certainly a safe neighborhood" Also examining Town Guards "Who is going to steal a whole town?" ~Defender~
  2. My mom makes me play. 2 hours of runescape a day keeps pokemon away. ~Defender~
  3. Actually, .2 would be 20%. Your new attack level would be 85 x .05 (=4.25), 4 + 85 = 89. Similar for strength. Incorrect. 85 attack is my base level, not with the adittional 15% caculated in. So instead of calculating in the 15%, its now 20%. However, you did show how many extra levels I gain with the 5% added on which is 4 levels. ~Defender~
  4. You basically get a 5% increase in strength and attacks vs undead. I have 85 attack and 84 strength so lets see.. 85 x 0.20 = 17 ... making my new attack level vs undead 102. 84 x 0.20 = 16.8 ... making my new strength lvl vs undead 100. :-k Hmmm need to get 85 strength. Plus thats not counting the bax.. which would add another 16 levels making me having 117 strength.. and if i use the 15% prayer that would boost my strength up too.. 130. But on average without prayer.. I'm looking at 102 attack and 117 strength  ~Defender~
  5. Wow isn't that amazing? The day before any updates, there was no thing about necromancy.. now that I bring it up, we all of a sudden get a update on it. #-o :-k ~Defender~
  6. Necromancy hype is about as dead as dead! I haven't seen anyone at all talk about this ever since Jagex put those 4 guys south of falador. Also, I noticed that for years people have been harping for PoH's.. and when they come out.. no one talks aobut them at all! Or new improvements.. Whats the deal here peeps? :-k ~Defender~
  7. With all new types of Gaming Titles comming out year after year.. everyone has their personal opinion on each one in how the game could be better or why its worse. There are sooo many high intelligent gamers out there who are experts at creating video games. (Even if they never touched one!) :-k Today, lets find if Runescapians have what it takes to make a innovating Runescape 3! :uhh: :ohnoes: So for todays lesson class, if you could offer anything into the world of Runescape, what new feature would you add? You can be as creative as want and as long as you want. Would you make grass sway? Would you simpley just add another skill? Could you climb in tree's? Would you increase the details of the game? Will you make combat more intense? Can you offer a feature to make noobs disappear? Will you kill the economy for fun? Would there be a new amazing awesome weapon that does 99 damage? Will you step out of the box, or stay in it? Well, get crakin. What would you change in Runescape, if given the chance to be a Runescape Developer? My Change: Updates to Combat, you now have skills invovled that give you special moves on mosters that deal extra damage or special features. If your in a party (yes there will be a party system, hurray! \ ), you can use some skills to steal health from your allies and add to your own! ~Defender~
  8. Its basically just a shift in desires. Why pay 200 Million for a Hat when you could get 20 Guthan Sets??? ~Defender~
  9. TBH, I think they should increase the number of rune ores in the game and more easily obtainable. Simpley because.. Rune just isn't as great anymore combat wise. Granite Armor Dragon Armor Barrows Armor All of these overtake what Rune can dish out. Not to mention Rune is the Average thing people wear these days.. So its not as worth much today as it was then. I think its a complete waste of time IMO. ~Defender~
  10. My opinion is no one wants a Phat anymore as they use to. Jagex couldn't just take the Phats off a players head and say "hey, your ruining the economy, so were stealing this, kthxbye." Instead, they countered Phats with a HUGE customization of clothing options. Alot of people have different preferences as what they like to wear. Now that phat aren't the only choice, the price declines or stays where its at. Back in the past, I did want a party hat.. but I really don't care if I have one now.. there is TOO many cloths out there in my opinion. Besides.. its just a hat :) ~Defender~
  11. Sorry, you have reached the wrong forum help line. If you would like cup cakes while waiting, press 2. ~Defender~
  12. Actually this can be quite a creative and positive post if the community turns it into one. I'm suprised she said "thank you" even though you declined it. I think i'll start doing that just to see the responses :-k ~Defender~
  13. I played like 20 games with "lower levels" and sucked it up. We won 3 games in a hour or 3 points. (Fast experience eh?) Then I switched worlds and found some higher level players, and won about 20 games in 30 minutes. If level 40's want to play.. so be it, but i'm going to be hoppin with the rest of the 90+ peeps in a attempt to avoid them. #-o So yup, level 40's will have to "suck it up" and play without us. It can go in a 2 way street freebird_forever22. The idea that not all low level players are oblvious/dumb/moron is true. The reality of finding such people? 1 in 1,000. ~Defender~
  14. Only read the topic title I see.. ~Defender~
  15. Well, its kinda hard to explain. Low levels seem to be oblvious to everything around them except for the concept of attacking things. You could go up to a level 40 while he is attacking and say "hello" and get no response.. Their could be 100 monsters all lined up waiting to attack the knight.. while all the level 40 see's is a monster to attack so he.. *gasps* opens the gate.. Lvl 40: Huh? How did we lose? >.< ~Defender~
  16. The obvious reason for a low level to come to PC is (of course) for the experience. My confusion is, why do low levels show up? Between levels of 40-60. Now you may be thinking i'm just hating on low levels right? Wrong. Pest Control is a team based game.. and inless they contribute.. IMO they are kinda leaching. What do you mean, you ask? Well think about it. That level 40-60 could be replaced by a level 80 or 90 or 100. Can a group of 25 level 40's win PC? I would honestly say no. And anyone else here would have to agree as there are tons of groups between 60-80 loosing most of the time. The level 100 monster spawns would pwn them bad! But just because they aren't quite contributing combat wise doesn't mean they can, there is always other stuff like repairing the defenses, leading monsters astray, and even using the melee to block the rangers/magic monsters who fling their arrows at the balanced knight. Mainly, seeing low levels annoys me. It only slows the progress down of winning, and seeing as they don't have high stats anyway, the experience is not all that worth while i'm sure. 40x40 = 1600 divided by 6 = 266 a point. Any creature with 50 hp can give you that.. if you just go to em and kill em! That will probably be faster for you than actually playing pest control. Usually they are the one's who kill my spider friend who just happens to be saving the knights life.. so they can get those precious xp they came for in the first place.. The conversation usually goes like this. Me: "Don't please" lvl 40: *continues to attack* Me: Stop! lvl 40: *continues to attack* Me: (enter player name here) Please stop attacking the spider! lvl 40: *continues to attack* why? *Spider Dies* lvl 40: Lol noob. *Knight Dies* And people honestly do wonder why high levels search for ONLY high level parties.. its not just because of the level but because of actually knowing how to play the game.. Btw, i'm not a noob. I"m level 104. If all you high levels feel me out there, sign this please. By the way, this is not a rant, just a dicussion on why low levels come to PC? By the way, no offense low levels We still love your annoying selfs! ~Defender~
  17. Thanks dude! I keep forgetting tip it is a help site, not just a forum >.< ~Defender~
  18. Does anyone know where some high hp, low defense, undead monsters are? I want to put my salve amulet to use :) ~Defender~
  19. Thanks for your help fooman! ~Defender~
  20. I have level 53 burners, not 61's. It says in Jagex guide that they give me a prayer bonus boost when I use my bones, but apparently i'm only getting the Base Effect from my chapel altar. I got 2 marrintel in my inventory but they don't work. Btw, can I have link to that guide? ~Defender~
  21. No, it doesn't say in any guide that i need marintel. ~Defender~
  22. I have 56 construction, I built the lvl 3 incense burner with a cloth chapel. By the guide, it says that I get 125% from prayer exp if I don't light the burners which IS what I am getting.. but when I light the burners with a tinderbox.. I still don't get any bonus exp promised! What am I doing wrong? ~Defender~
  23. I am a bit confused as this guide.. Instead of wasting money to cook your food.. why not just get your 1000 raw lobs you fished.. cooked them in catherby.. then exchange them for 1000 raw lobsters again and repeat? The stove is right there.. and you lose 0 gp while doing this. Lobsters are also a better cooking item so you will get more xp in the long run. ~Defender~
  24. Its a okay guide. I rate it a 6/10. But before I give you constructive critisim, here is some positive notes I would like to add. 1. Great job on pictures. Guides are much more understood with imagery than words. 2. It is organized. 3. You answer alot of general information. Now as what could make it better.. Depth. The guide has only general information but not alot of indepth information. One who has never played runescape in his life may be asking himself.. "Why kill dragons?" "Why kill blue dragons over green? "What is so good about dragon drops?" Other information someone may ask is.. "How do I kill these things with Melee Stats? Thats my strong point." "How do I kill these things with Magic Stats?" Thats my strong point." "Should I use a Hally for Melee or go in close?" "Which method is more effiecent?" "Which method is the cheapest?" "Which method is the fastest in kill a dragon?" You do pretty good at handling out range tactics and strategies and equipment to bring, but one needs also to learn other ways. Other than that, good guide bro, helps out beginners alot =D> ~Defender~
  25. It really doesn't offer you anything if you think about it. The only thing you can do is improve your skills in the mini game.. which the mini game as a whole only offers you the ability to gamble your earnings away.. Oh btw.. no xp for you either. Cmon Jagex..... They even said in their update message that they thing this will be a good update players will enjoy far down the road.. far down the road its going to be a ghost town. >.< Already is really.. ~Defender~
