I was pking and killed a guy with a bunch of sharks I needed south of the mage arena. Someone else was chasing me the entire time, and I had to eat my precious sharks. :C Boom, dead, less sharks.

i dont understand attackable npc's what tha heck does that mean What I mean by attackable NPCs are those monsters you see walking around, with the option "attack" on them, that you can have a full battle with, that there's a chance of killing another one. I assume you support? And, that's what the ring already does. At 1 HP, you can no longer deal damage, and you have to use the ring on it, which it then gets sucked into the ring and it becomes bound to you. Oh, and newbies won't be -as- scared by the jads. They don't know his true level yet. Still pretty scary to see huge reptile-things walking around, though.

Well, I did just get the Diamond version... But 10% is a better idea, easier to tell against higher level monsters that get redbarred at 1-3. unkn0wnwarrior, I take it you support. Both of you will be added to the list :D

The quest is supposed to be short ;) it's so that you don't have to wait for a while to use an item that's just meant to be a bit silly. Thanks for the support, you two!

The RSOF Topic's quick find code, please add your support there too, if you can: 24-25-365-43386622 The monster ring is a new ring that just randomly popped into my mind that lets you turn into attackable NPCs! In order to obtain/use one, you need to complete a somewhat simple quest. This ring is for both F2P and P2P. Its effect, similar to a ring of stone or a ring of egg, transforms your character into the attackable NPC your ring (the data for the monster you transform into is stored on your character file) is bound to. To bind it, you must find one of the monsters you wish to change into, and use the ring on the monster any time before it hits 1 HP. After that, you will get the messege "Your monster ring has targetted this monster to bind itself to. Please weaken it down to 1 HP in order to finish the binding." Once that messege appears, you must then weaken down the monster. Don't worry, once the use the ring on the monster, no one else can attack it, and you can't kill it, only leave it at 1 HP. Once it hits 1 HP, you must then use the ring on the monster again, and your character will raise the ring into the air, which then creates a gold beam that sucks the soul out of the monster of your choice. Congratulations, you have now bound a monster ring! Now the once the ring is bound, its info will change from Monster ring Wear Use Destroy Examine to Monster ring (B) Wear Use Clear Destroy Examine The option Clear unbinds the ring so you can bind it to another monster. Note that you MAY NOT fight, or raise skills, while transformed. You can trade and do other things, however. The quest is: Binding the ring Requirments: Ability to kill 3 level 90 monsters, one with melee, one with range, and one with magic. Items: You may not have any items with you when doing the quest, all items (including bow and arrows, runes, and melee weapon) are supplied. Guide: To start the quest, speak with wizard Trailborn up in the wizard's tower, and he will tell you three thingamywuts (is that how goes) stole his two rings that lets him transform into the thingamywuts that can attack. He will supply you with "a stringy thing that fires shard pointy thingies" (bow and arrows), "a sharp thing that hurts when touched on the pretty part" (sword), and "magic round thingies that make pretty things happen" (runes for your best offensive magic spell), which he will take back after you get his two rings. He will then teleport you to a dungeon underneath Falador, which is where the "thingamywuts" stay. You will find the first one right at the entrance, kill it with your sword, and take the two mysterious gems it drops, which your character will then say "those beasts broke Trailborn's ring!" which you are then jumped by another one. You must kill it with ranged, and it drops two top halves of the rings. The final one is a little bit ahead, which you must kill with mage. It will drop the bottom half of the rings, and you will be teleported back to Trailborn. He will then put them back together, and give one to you, along with a "how to use manual." If they still follow, I lead them to one of these places, depending where they are. Falador: Highway men to the south Draynor Village: Draynor manor, let the trees eat them, or just tell them to enter the manor and run away without telling them how to get out Port Sarim: See Falador Lumbridge: The mugger nearby the yew tree and the farming patch Al-Karid: Walk through the gate multiple times until they run out of money (doesn't work if they've done Prince Ali Rescue) Varrok: Either the mugger near Audbury's rune shop, or the dark wizards. Edgeville: Into the dungeon, and if they follow, take them to the skeletons. Barbarian village: Stronghold of security, then run through the portals into where the cradle of life is. Karamja: Take them to the scorpions on the volcano. if all fails, home tele, and log out at the last second. Man, I'm mean. :-w

I like the old ones WAAAAAY more then the new ones. The old ones makes quests look a lot more fun, while the new ones look like something you would do in a business. Just my dos centavos.

Just like the rings got updated, the ring mould got updated today as well. Now it looks slimmer.

If you use the item you need to make the die on aggie, you can skip through the conversation and she we make the dye for you if you have the money. It saves a lot of time. ;) But I support, too. If this happens, I might be inspired to law run again.

I recently sold my ancient mace from the new quest "another slice of H.A.M" and now I want another one so I can keep using the special. How do I do this? The runescape wiki says that I can speak the the goblin chieves (wartface and bentnoze), but it doesn't work. Do I have to go back to Dorgesh-khaan to get another one?

I've always hated the graphical updates, and firmly believe that they looked better without being updated. Except for rabbits. Rabbits are awesome now. But, the goblins prove my point. They are incredibly ugly now... they look like something that came out of a cartoon, not a game that pushes Java to it's limits.

Support'ed. It would be great to be able to meet friends in places without requiring extensive directions. "Okay, I'm at the Khazard battlefield..." "where's the khazard battlefield?" With the map: "Okay, meet me." "Okay, I see you're at the Khazard battlefield. I'm on my way." And of course: "Hey, why'd you stop at most farming patches?" "Oh, just making my rounds." Which ^ is used instead of: "OMG what's taking you so long!?" "I'm doing my farming rounds, duh" Yeah, good idea.

I spoke to him again after the offending conversation, and his name was cornileus again. Weird.

I just finished making the bank in In Aid of the Myreque, and got the banker, and after he appeared, his name was Burgh_potential_bank_teller_multinpc! I couldn't take picture, as many of my files dissappeared for some reason, including paint, and I have no photo capture software, so I'm stuck. Anyone who hasn't done the quest, can you go and take a picture of this?
