If all weapons of the same tier have the same raw dps, then the chaotic longsword would be the best weapon in the game. However, it would be retarded for Jagex to do that, so the rapier will still probably be significantly better.

The gp market needs to be regulated at least a little bit, and degrading armor and other cash drains do a good enough job now. However if Jagex introduced a cash shop, the money supply would increase massively and the economy wouldn't be able to recover. They'd have to manually remove cash from the game, and I'm willing to bet no one at Jagex understands the economy well enough to do that well.

It is obviously rebindable 1) you can reassign keys. 2) you can reassign slots. That's not what I meant. Rebindable as in bindable to mouse scroll wheel, alt/shift keys, etc. ^ 1) you can reassign keys. We don't know if you can bind them to combo (ctrl+a) keys, or the mouse wheel yet. The amount of damage you hit is random :P Vulnerability doesn't have an affect on what damage you deal. It does make you hit more accurate though. Furthermore, you lose a lot of dps by casting vulnerability instead of fire surge a lot more than the 10% decrease in defense saves.
