Efficiency is a measure of output gained per unit of input. In Runescape, the input are time and effort, and the outputs are xp and fun. Don't say that fun and efficiency are even remotely conflicting ever again.

You can't determine the task list without the formula. So, no one should try to answer your question. All you can do is wait OR log kills to help finding the new effigy formula. If you want to know what the formula is, stop being a problem and start logging tasks/kills.

My bet is that Jagex underestimated the amount of xp players could gain through this. This is believable, cuz Jagex is kinda like, really, really, dumb. How about: Both are too much xp but one gets Jagex money and the other not? That's viable as well.

I'd recommend banking hides and bones during dragon tasks. Infernal ashes aren't really worth picking up unless you have a yak, due to how far black demons and nechs are from a bank. I can't think of anything else that would fill your inv.
