  1. I've said this a lot lately, but the most important thing you can do is to start flipping. Once you get going, you'll never look back.
  2. If that's true, then there probably wouldn't be a net increase in the number of furies in the game, but I went ahead and added it to the list anyway.
  3. Here are all of the ways that onyxes can be obtained: Purchasing from the shop in TzHaar city for 2.7m tokkul (1 onyx in stock at a time) Beating the fight kiln Using a gem-finding scrimshaw Looting a kingly impling jar Rare drops from Araxxor and Kalgerion demons and the fight cauldron 76k-ing All of these sources would need to combine for an average of 500-520 onyxes per day since 2005 in order for there to be 1,684,000 onyxes in the game, so I think it's certainly plausible for that many furies to be in the game. If you also consider that almost every high-level player has permanently sold a fury some time in the last 2 years, it makes it possible for a lot of furies to be on the market. It would be difficult for that to account for 1.6m onyxes, though.

TBH flipping is not for everyone ... 10 years and I still can't figure out how to do it properly ... There are hundreds of guides on it and it's not particularly complicated. The only hard part is sticking to it.
  5. We have to add people to our friends lists to enable lootshare. Because of this we can't use a single fc for every event, as it would require account sharing. It's not a use case that would necessarily result in a ban, but, as a team run by a platinum fansite, we can't break Jagex's rules in any capacity.

Learn how to flip as soon as possible. If you have 10m and make 10% profit per day, you'll have 1b in 50 days. No other money makers are remotely comparable and having a good cash stack is amazing at low levels.
  7. http://codepen.io/meredithz/full/HijEu/ I tried to make you a thing
  8. Yeah it's the special assignment. You can cancel them, but I'm assuming that he doesn't have enough points.
  9. it cant be skipped.... :(You can get a new task in taverly
  10. Skip your task and don't accept KQ tasks anymore
  11. I'd actually be kinda tempted to do the hardcore mode
  12. Why not just go with time spent ingame, or something that would give priority to players who are active enough to get some mileage out of a new name? That is the point of this whole system, right? That has its own issues, but it'd probably be more fair than using total level
  13. Lol, just lol. I can't tell if your post is meant to troll or not. Or maybe you just through it was a good idea to ask for preferential treatment because you've had a comp cape for a whopping 3 months? Ridiculous, and utterly selfish. Honestly, if you want to make it fair, it should be first come first serve. If the names are hoarded, too bad you were too slow. Announce the date on which the names will be free'd. Few days before said date, release the name. There's going to be chaos on the servers anyway, at least this way no one is given special treatment. Yeah, the thing is, for something to be preferential treatment or favoritism, the criteria being judged has to be subjective. A player's total level is a firmly objective criterion, so its not preferential treatment or favoritism in any way, shape, or form. You earn levels, you earn privileges. She's not [bleep]ing suggesting that they give out names to people with [bleep]ing blonde hair first or something. God damn it. You're kidding right? You earn levels you earn privileges? Did you think that through? So what about the players that spent 1000 hours pking? What about the players that spent 1000 staking? Or pures? Or skillers? Or PvMers? You are giving preferential treatment. You're now suggesting that players should be punished for not playing efficiently. What a surprise coming from someone in EE. I'm almost shocked. Hey, if you think it's a better idea to use gp instead of xp, I'm all for it. But it's honestly concerning to me that you think that it's ridiculous to reward people for playing the game. Like seriously, what the [bleep]? Do you really think that someone who's played the game for 10 hours has just as much of a right to a rare name as someone who's played for 1,000 hours? I'll be the first to admit that total level isn't a perfect way of measuring how much someone deserves a name, but, god damn, it's a [bleep] ton better than giving good names to whoever has the fastest reflexes and internet connection.

  15. At that point, you might as well just buy a bond for 2 weeks of membership so you can change your name Some people don't want the actual membership though, albeit a few... Edit: and what if you buy an early name change and lose membership, as well? Presumably you can no longer redeem until you renew. I get that, but you could always just not log into a member's world. I mean, I would have no problem if Jagex sold name-change tokens for like 1/5 of the price of a bond, but it doesn't really make sense to add it to bonds.

I hear what you're saying, and understand it. Only issue is that I would like to know so I could plan out what actions I'm going to take/what I plan to do. I really don't want to just sit here (in time, meaning present) just doing what I can to be generally healthy and prepared without some set plan or at least vague end goal to be working towards. There's not really a whole lot that you can do to prepare for your future right now aside from not doing drugs, taking the hardest classes you can, and doing a bunch of extra curriculars. During 12th grade (the last year of high school, I don't know if you guys follow that system in Canada), you'll have to decide between going to a trade school and going to a university, but usually your grades and whatnot will decide that for you. Most universities won't make you pick a major until after your second year and you'll have everything figured out by then.

Shit dude you're too young to worry about what you're going to do with your life. You'll figure it out sooner or later. Just don't worry about it.
  19. Just wait for them to free up Nambler
  20. He's 3225 hours away. I think that puts him at 10th place. He could pass Crystal Farm, My Kingz, and Roger Al if he plays enough.
  21. We were discussing if it would be worth it to do livid farm if you weren't going for a completionist cape.
  22. Then clearly I've been doing something wrong. Teach me your ways, o people that have never outgrown a name they chose as a teenager, for I have come to hate A Local Guy. If it makes you feel any better, I still like A Local Guy
  23. When you find the uncrustable you hid under your pillow <3:
  24. I have a scar on my wrist and everyone thinks I did it on purpose but it was an accident
