  1. I just did something terrible. Over the last couple of weeks, two cockroaches have been living in my bathroom. I've tried pretty hard to get rid of them, but they're quite elusive. I have to keep my toothbrush and stuff in my bedroom so that the cockroaches don't climb all over them. Tonight, though, things changed. I went to go brush my teeth before going to bed, and one of the cockroaches was in my sink. I saw my opportunity and I took it. I turned on the water and watched the cockroach fight for its life. It tried as hard as it could to stay above water. It crawled onto the plug, where it was above the water line but still away from the rushing water. I pulled the lever to bring the plug down. Its leg got caught. The sink quickly began to fill with water, submerging the insect. In desperation and fear, it ripped off its leg and rose to the surface. I raised the plug once again, hoping to set my trap again. The cockroach returned to its perch on the plug. This time I pulled the plug down even more quickly than last time. Its antenna got stuck. As the sink began to fill, the cockroach floated up, its antenna caught in between the plug and the drain. It floated vertically with its head facing downwards. It was helpless. It tried to fight for a while. It lasted several minutes. Then it flailed around as hard as it could, trying desperately to dislodge its trapped antenna before it ran out of air, to no avail. There's still one left. [spoiler=Not for the faint of heart]
  2. It's more convenient to buy them on the GE than a fishing store. It takes 20 seconds to get to the GE at most, but there aren't any fishing shops near a teleport. They're used for hunter and some quests, so there are often a few hundred offers in at 1k+. There also aren't any people who sell them in bulk, so supply always exceeds demand. Lots of items are like this. Usually you can sell a between 100 and 1k before the demand is met. If you can sell more than 1k of them for a high price, then something suspicious is happening.
  3. One day you guys will get this and laugh

  5. Yeah I have a 2595 total player taking almost 12,000 hours to max largely because they wouldn't finish dailies in time and would have to do non-daily methods to finish them
  6. There are benefits to doing it like that, but it isn't "proper" in object-oriented languages
  7. Because toLevel and toXP don't apply to all numbers, just to a specific type of number
  8. You probably want to answer questions like these: How easy is it to recover an account? When an account is recovered, is a link to reset the password sent, or are the log in credentials sent instead? Does Jagex enforce good password security? How easy is it to bypass the new security system?
  9. Extend Number to xp dont just add xp methods to the number prototype
  10. You prevent sql injection with prepared statements But yeah I know how every new php developer tries to use mysql_i or something (and probably also stores passwords in plain text)
  11. Xkcd passwords aren't secure anymore btw so let's not really go around recommending them
  12. Triple entendre (thanks sleep deprivation): "[wagon] why did you park in the handicapped spot?" "Im visually handicapped"
  13. Nah once you get used to passing out instead of falling asleep you'll realize sleeping is effort Also I didn't sleep
  14. On one hand I want to sleep on the other I don't really want to put in the effort
  15. You barely have to be knowledgeable to prevent SQL injection though so it balances out
  16. You would think that, but lots of sites are ridiculously insecure. Here are 1800 or so sites (+ some gibberish) that store passwords in plain text, which is literally the least secure thing you can do outside of printing usernames and passwords on your homepage.
  17. Task frequencies
  18. Looks like a poorly censored dick tbh
  19. Left eye is dominant. I can see it in both eyes if I go cross eyed
  20. Mushroom chick in your avatar probably cant see her nose
