Thanks for that very nice answer. Here is the deal if you want to elaborate more and give me an even more specific answer. I like how you say to switch to mind runecrafting as soon as i can but that's the thing. i am using a fire staff and training with fire combat spells (stronger as i can). I will be using airs and minds until i get to chaos. So do you think i should stick with that spell? thanks!

Question: what is the purpose of the bump? You got about 6 answers which all seem good. Why don't you give some feedback on what you think of those answers rather than bumping your thread? I am level 21 mage and have both an air staff and fire staff. What should i do in terms of rcing at this point if my rc level is 1 ?

What should i rc them into? And does anybody have any idea what my runecrafting level will be after i craft 2k of them? (i am starting at level 1)

So i am coming up on 2k rune ess and was thinking about runecrafting them to train my magic as well as my runecrafting (will be good for future) on my new FUTURE p2p range/mage... i was wondering. should i sell the 2k rune ess for 20k and buy my runes/arrows to do some pre-p2p training? or should i just rc them to get mage training + rc? Also, i literally just saw someone die in the runecraft tele place south of varrock east bank die to a swarm of flies (he was like level 55). this is the picture after i picked up all his stuff: What do you think?

Those are really tough questions that I doubt he has the answer for. Although strength as always been considered 'better' especially in f2p, there is a lot of talk that jagex is giving more and more benefits to players with defense (ie: the two latest prayer additions) which is the only reason why i would advise you to try 60 att/40 str. But good luck whatever you end up doing! Can anyone help ME out? :D

If you are going to go with yews, all logs are sold at the west entrance of varrock, right south-west of the bank. In f2p, it is very easy to buy 300ea.

Reloading the page fixes that bug for me. It also happens often when i ALT+TAB through windows. I come back to rs and the applet is all white...

Um, well... Level 38 pure ranger - 57 range - 41 mage - nothing else... so he should be decent (no k0 but shouldn't really die as easily as he does) Level 46 hybrid - 40 att - 53 str - 31 pray - 46 range I know that range isn't where it should be (could be around 60 or more without changing cb except for hp). Yet, i still die way too much and never kill. not to mention that before i trained range on the hybrid, i was potting + super str praying and wasn't killing anyone... but rather dying a ton!

Hi! I feel like i make pretty good pure accounts... one 38 and one 46 which should own on paper. but when i take them to the wildy, yes, i have mad lag, but more importantly, i never kill people and rather always die. do you think you could help me?

Definitely stick with chickens/cows at early levels, everything else is to hard to hit. Also, i wouldn't go to minotaurs until at least 30 when you start hitting them pretty well. You can stay at them for a while too, especially because of the iron arrow drops...

Merching is easy, especially in p2p. If you don't have much, just go for 25k and start merching rune weapons. Buy rune scimmy 25k, sell 35k. Then buy b axe 35k sell 45k. Then keep doing that, buy multiple weapons. Soon enough, you'll be above 200k. Whatever you do, good luck!

Cool, it seems like i am going to go for hp then. ps: the name of my character is k0fs. it is currently f2p and newb but i will train it so that it hopefully is ready for p2p in 4 or 5 days. add me if you want, i am quite friendly. =P please keep coming with hp advise as well as any minor tips you may have for me. i will ideally become a ancient magicks ranger... so yeah!
