Oi oi, What's the price difference between the 350 and the 400? Quite alot, but I dont really know how much, Because the 350D is out of stock in The Netherlands. (When my dad is in America he will buy it in dollars) Ah okey, It's just I was looking at the 350, But saw how many really good reviews were about the 400, So I decided to ask for that one instead. Have fun =)

Wow, this thread sorta died back there didn't it? :P Onto business: If you want to send me a link to the site selling the lens, I can get more information. I'm assuming that it's the EF 90mm-300mm F4-5.6 though. I've heard that its a fairly good lens but it isn't the sharpest lens out there. This is a good lens to have in your bag, there is a cheaper Tamron, but the build quality and handling are reported to be better. Most of the canon lenses now are compatable with the EOS series, Canon's relatively new system. I say relatively new as they have many film cameras in the EOS range. THe mount that you'll be after is ideally an EF mount. This allows you to use the lens on any EOS camera including the full frame 5D, 1D, 1Ds and the 1D MK II. An EF-S mount is only compatable with the Canon's D-SLRs with a smaller APS-C size sensor. The lens I recommended is for D-SLRs only, but it's of superb build quality for the price. Oh yeah, you might want to remember the crop factor of 1.6. This means that a 90mm-300mm lens would become a 144mm-480mm lens. I'm saving for the lens I recommended to you, just be sure to order any third party lenses in a Canon mount. Tar, This is the link.. http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product ... Bump up from the scary depths of The Gallery. I've been looking at this lens, Incredibly cheap for a Canon 300mm. Does anyone own one? Is it worth getting? And most of all is it compatible with a Canon Eos 400D?

Very nice, How much money did you put in? I'm not sure, but I would guess that it cost me around 8M. So if I sell the flax and maples for 100 ea I would earn 9,5M not counting the seeds and nests in, but it's not easy to sell that much, I still have lots of flax and maples since I last got my resources. 7.5m is the max to put in.. Or did you top it up when some of the money had been used?

Not a lot. I don't see why you would EVER put it on coal. Maples are SO much better. SO easy to sell. and flax is a breeze to sell the seeds aren't as bad as you would think. Soo 300k is good on maples + flax/seeds? Seeds come with the maples because of the bird nests. But yeah, Maples and Flax are the best for profit.

Ha yeah, Wait till the Gold. It's great fun, 40km over 4 days, Sleeping 3 nights, Sounds pretty daunting carrying all your kit, tent, food, clothes, stove, pans etc.. It's actually not that bad, The hardest part in my eyes is trying to keep the team together, after 4 days with no communication from home or even a shower :uhh: People can get pretty pissed off at each other very often.

I could send you the PSD but you wouldn't learn how i made that 'Roughish Texture' But if you'd like to know what i did, was i mess around with the distort filters then once i have it looking good and covering up the entire sig I apply image on a new layer, then you sharpen it but keep the strength down, and about a 13px soft brush then go over parts of the sig with that, then do the same thing with blur at about 10-15 strght on other parts. Oh ok very cool, Thankyou. Could you still send me the .PSD? I'd just like to learn some new techniques about blending etc..

Myself, I love it. My Dads in Mountain Rescue, I'm part of an Explorer unit [Group of older teenagers who pursue outdoor sports] I've climbed every peak in every district in England at least 3 times each, Some about 5+ times now. I've done both Bronze and Silver Gold D of E [Duke Of Edinbourough] And am now planning my Gold. One day, I hope to be part of the Mountain Rescue team just like my Dad, And also when I turn 20, Few years away, Visit the Arctic with my Dad's team and spend a month out there. But my girlfriend.. Comes up with the simple phrase 'I'll only walk if I don't realise i'm walking' Yes, That does make sense. She means, If I'm out shopping, She can walk all day, Because she doesn't think about the distance, It's just walking from one side of town to the other, Into and out of shops, Around and inside shops. I, Walk because I love conquering a challenge, Making myself stronger in both mental and physical states, I love the feeling of setting up my tent after a long days walk. How do you feel? Are you a keen walker? Any stories to tell? Or do you despise it? And why?
