Thanks smapla. I have actually seen that video, which made me think of an even better way to do it which does not require a projector, and doesn't require a camera under it. But I think I can get a few very small cameras, take them apart, and place them on the side of the acrylic. I basically just have to write the program that detects which camera has the most concentrated amount of diffracted infrared light

Diffracted light is when something has total internal reflection, and something interferes with that reflection to cause light to disperse. I kind of got my words messed up last night. I mean where the most diffracted light would be, not the distance. because if I have an x and y axis, I don't really need to know the distance. I'm looking for a device that would measure how far away a concentrated amount of diffracted Infrared light would be in something that has total internal reflection. And possibly some software that can take the values of said device and plot it on a graph/map. I know asking for this is.. Well pretty much a long shot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Last year for a little over a week i dreamed my own funeral. It was an open casket funeral, so I died without being like.. annihilated basically. There was a girl at my funeral who was crying and she looks exactly like the girlfriend I have now and have been going out with for a little over a year. but the weird thing is.. about 2 weeks after I dreamed my funeral for like a week, my intestines pretty much ruptured or whatever and I waited to go to the hospital for 3 days thinking it would pass. I eventually went to the hospital and the doctors told me if I had waited another day I would have been dead. ha. Funny story

I've been able to make something.. somewhat like the rs login page on visual basic using animations and having some moving parts, and then text boxes and such for the logins. But I have a quick question.. What language are you using?
