  1. Wait... if all you guys are First and second in command, then what am I? Anyway, yes that was a pun... And yes, you can tell Achimage to get lost, I did... But really, he's not such a bad guy, just our debates got a little too much... Anyway, it would help if you lengthen it. Maybe a couple more descriptions, commas etc. But I do like the story.
  2. Welcome indeed, you have an interesting short story, I will enjoy reading it, I agree with Ratchet, except for the second command thing... Anyway, do write more, we need more active members (but the write ones)
  3. W00t! Tell me! The other people (you don't know) haven't given me opinions on them...
  4. You know, people could say whether they like the direction I'm taking this story... Oh well, I've got to work on stories elsewhere, no update tonight, sorry all!
  5. heh, Like how you tried to talk somewhat like an English person... nearly pulled it off, but it's okay! Liked the story, do continue!
  6. It's well... okay... I don't quite know what to say. I feel the plot needs a little touch up, but that's just me. I'm off to mess with Cosines and Sines! Hurrah! (Disappear stage left, into the school building conveniently placed next door)
  7. Oh wow Ratchet... Thank you very much... I didn't realize that I was so esteemed... (Blushes in a a manly way) Much better than when SK and I did the reviews... We lost vision. PASSION! PASSION for your work! That's the key! Gah ha ha ha! Anyway, I'm off to my school's Homecoming (Prom, just without dancing... baptist school) and I'll come back energized! Your words have given me strength! Thank you very much! (Vanishes into the mists most cooly putting on his sports coat!)
  8. "Home." Genesis walked through the doors, very glad that he was in the one place he felt safe from any betrayal. Alexia greeted him. "You took every class I sent you directions to?" "Yes." He punched, sending a strong right into her stomach, only to be met with extremely hard muscles. "I found the 'Iron skin' technique very fun, not that I need it with you normally." "Good job, I need something simple, and not very rich, human food is... very... ugh..." "I know the feeling. Anything else?" He shook his head. She removed his armor, but he took it with him, he felt weird. Sitting in his library, he looked over the plan that Athena and him developed. The plan he had followed had numerous, numerous flaws, but they were not an issue. He was considered by the scientists and warriors who had trained him. Honing his mind and body to its highest possible levels, but that could not account for the excellence of the plan. "Lady Athena Here to see you, Lord Genesis!" Athena was shown in by Alexia, she also was worrying about the plan. "The main plan was just a starter, we weren't supposed to succeed with that one, just begin operations. Something is going wrong, and I don't think its entirely a human problem." -In the Aegis world capital- "You said that the security cameras recorded Genesis being shot?" "Correct, and here's his blood." "The mighty Genesis is hurt. What do you expect to find? We know he's human, despite the propaganda, and that he was captured from the human area of Aegis." "I'm sorry but you don't have the access to that information, please do your job. But I can tell you it involves his parents, if we can find them. -Jupiter Conclave holdings- "We can no longer trust in the numbers that have to expand, to press our advantage. I am the First! Jupiter! And we need one leader! Not just 'the first among equals' that is in control. We are the greatest beings! The greatest is I! I will promise the world to you if you follow me!" He looked over the crowd, what would their reaction be? A roar, and he knew. The world was his for the taking, now for the rest of the Conclave. "Go! We first must cast out the corrupt Conclave, and Genesis must be the first to go!"
  9. I'm rather indifferent to this, I suggest you update your other myriad of stories.
  10. Genesis walked out of the building, taking stock of his situation. Soldiers, guards and well-armed civilians had gathered themselves in front of his exit route, there was sure to be more around the other exits. The area was a stairway, very wide, sweeping outward, in a shape like an obtuse triangle. The sky was beautiful, and the clouds were fluffy. The courtyard held nearly one hundred combatants. All had been watching alertly and had trained their weapons on him instantly. "I don't want to cause anymore death than necessary, stand down. I suppose, I shall have to kill what I consider a threat to me." He utilized the cloaking device that had been implanted in his suit. He appeared in front of a soldier with a rocket launcher. With a snick, a blade extended from the end of his cannister rifle, as if it was a bayonet, but it was much too long for any normal specimen of the weapon. "Threat level, highest, eliminating." He slashed downwards, splitting the soldier in half. "Eliminating." Another one bit the dust. "Threat level of group lowered..." And another one fell. This continued, until finally, there was about twenty combatants left. "The rest of you are beneath my notice." He walked off, turning invisible, and reappearing several meters onward, just to enhance his own reputation. His reputation, after something like this, would go up regardless of his exit. He turned legend in that instance. A god from Olympus mountain, come down to punish humanity. His team released their captives. They were all unharmed, and had not needed to use drastic measures, a pinch here, a small cut here was more than enough to achieve convincing screams. "Alright everyone!!" Genesis clapped his hands for attention. They were standing on the building they had gathered when they had first arrived. "You've done an excellent job, now, a little reward." He pressed a button and explosions rocked their position, the places that they had frequented went up in smoke. They all cheered, hugged, slapped hands in all the paraphernalia of celebration. Tethys, taking advantage of the confusion, attacked the north with a large force, while stealthily sending a submarine to extract Genesis and his agents. The plan went perfectly, in all ways.
  11. didn't this used to be Jihad? Why change it?
  12. Genesis and his soldiers spread themselves out, some were to capture the children, or loved ones of the representatives. His mission was to kill each and every representative of the member governments of Aegis that gathered on that day. However, he decided that he would kill them after destroying their spirits. In the rotunda that hosts the representatives, there is a swiveling chair for the moderator, so that debates are not too heated. The Rotunda it self was perfectly circular, not many decorations, but the few there were were well designed and restful for the eye to look upon. There were four doors, however, only two were ever used by the representatives, the rest being fire exits. They came in, and Genesis rotated the chair to look them in the eyes, or in their case, tried to look into his, he wasn't wearing the blue and gold mask, though he could have, but he was wearing a disguise. "It is of grave importance you all sit down." He intoned menacingly. "Or your posterity will suffer." He reached down and picked up his communication device. He pressed the on-switch and yells and screams were heard. Some where calling for their fathers, others, for their mothers, but some just screamed in abject terror. "MONSTER!!!" Shouted one of the representatives as they sat down in their places. "I am not a monster." "Then what are you? A fiend, a demon? How can you do such things to our children?" The angry man continued to yell. Genesis paused, then gave the answer which he told himself to get to sleep at night. "I am, first and foremost, the best soldier and field general in the Jupiter Conclave. If my existence is nothing else, I am..." He paused again, this time, in thought. "... Now then, let us get to our business, lawmaking... I want a law stating that everyone must find any type of duck they wish and hug every third, seventh Thursday, under penalty of 100,000 coinage fine. In unison now..." "Aye..." "Better... now then... moving on." He went through his agenda. "Thank you very much. How I will kill you will be somewhat painful, but the end will be relatively quick." He then snapped his fingers and put on a breath mask. The gas did work quickly, and dissipated soon afterward. By this time, guards had gathered around the doors, completely without a leader and by the time they rushed in, it was too late. However, Genesis was expecting them. "Now... Doesn't cutting all that dead weight to the bureaucracy feel good?" "Fire!!!!!!" The guards started to shoot faster than Genesis had expected, he didn't get seriously hurt before he got his signature mask on, but he did get a cut to the cheek, blood, a surprising amount for a small cut, splattered on the chair behind him. "Big, big mistake." He spoke softly, massive amounts of bullets striking his armor to no affect. He snapped his fingers and his weapon, the cannister rifle, appeared in his hands. The latest in nano-technology, one could place it next to any metal thing and it would be absorbed into the armor (in Genesis' case) and appear at the snap of their fingers. "Big mistake indeed."
  13. (after she was resurrected as a banshee by Arthus) Alright, this thing is so old I don't remember it... now... anyway... might as well give my opinions. This is, of course, outdated. Now, balance... We know that good/evil (not necessarily Saradomin and Zamorak) must retain balance so that Guthix does not intervene. Yet, when Zaros was THE dominant force, Guthix was asleep so no one could fight him unless everyone united against him with Guthix, so... (I'm going to use the first letter, Za=Zaros Z=zamorack) So Z=S=2Z+S+AOG -Guthix So... since say AOG=1.5 if combined (does not mark actual total of levels), let us rank them. This is my personal 'threat to Zaros' registry Armadyl<.25 his main power was the aviantese, and when they were destroyed, he disappeared. It can be assumed that he would not fight Zaros, hence he wouldn't fight Zaros, however, if he would have, my threat would basically have been A>Za because Armadyl has some very powerful magical items. The desert Pantheon=.5 They are obviously controlled by Zaros, as his kingdom was extensively in the desert. If they rose up, they could actually fight, but would not win by a long shot. Seren=.25 unless elves were threatened, she would not fight to her fullest power. Marimbe=.05 no one knows, personally, I think he was Zaros' pet monkey who got zapped with Zamorak and Zaros, you know why. Akthanakos and Azzandra would not fight Zaros, so, = 0 All other demi-gods=1, however, alone they are less than desert pantheon (???) Za>G, (because otherwise, they would say instead of "guthix, Saradomin and Zamorak being able to take him together, they would say, if Guthix were there... etc.) but... Za Za It must be noted, that Guthix is the tipping point, so, I believe he is Za=G-1 I don't know why I posted this, but its intelligent and I like it. Now... stop digging up the bones of dead stories!
  14. Thank you very much, hearing people praise (or just c/c) really gives me energy to write more, don't worry, I did post this on LOGF, but I've decided to put it here too, but I can't go past the Project Onyx chapters... so, this is the last chapter for a little bit. Thank you for the comments. (BTW, the ones of the land of Guthix are one behind what I have actually written for Project Onyx, not what's been published.) Please leave comments! It gives me energy!
  15. Banned, because its just what we do.
  16. Banned! because I care!
  17. Chuck Norris as Saradomin's general... ... must become good before losing head to roundhouse kick...
  18. Chapter 3 -Skyhunter 0- The nephew of the Mystro moved through the darkened port districts. He loved the feel compared to the brightly lit district for the well-to-do. There was an ending to a riot, apparently one female was beating the snot out of ten odd brawlers. She did not use any weapons, but used the sides of her hands as clubs, felling several. Eventually, he moved in a finished the rest off as she had finally gotten knocked down. "Miss Elisa, I presume." "What'sh it to yoush?" "It means a lot actually, food and money for you." "Wy didn youshay sho?" Drunk, in case you haven't noticed, she had to be carried off to the secret lair. -Simoun, Simca, Sephira- The air was crisp and clean. Butterflies and deer roamed the forest in their own paths. And three air-ships with pirates inside waited to discuss the future. Simoun and Simca sat, or rather, Simoun sat, and Simca fidgeted, eventually Sephira came back from her conference call. "Scouts report that the base depends on secrecy, rather than a force. We are safe, well, except for Delor coming in his flagship, the Antagarn. He appears to be heading for the base." Simca slammed her fist on the table. "Lets kill the illegitimate son! He ruined it for us, now we can't go anywhere without risking an attack from some gung-[garden tool] fleet commander!" Simoun shrugged. "Well, I would like to see him dead too, what's to be done?" Sephira nodded. "The base has no fleet, but it does have defensive weaponry, we can take him as he's leaving!" Simca- "Killing him?" "No, we capture him, and turn him in for a bounty, then watch the execution!" Sephira laughed evilly! Then, she calmed down and brought out a map. -Kuze- Kuze was thin, tall and sharp featured. He did not look like he was very alert, but he already knew what your mannerisms were, whether you had an intent to kill him, even if you came from a 'well-balanced' home. But, most importantly, was his patience. He waited until his second in command gave him a thumbs up. Everything was to schedule. "Navigator, when you're ready. Engineering! Engines to 83%! Turrets, makes sure that all guns are functional and man them. Ground forces! Attack in five minutes!" The ship lurched forward, nearly as fast as a bird, and the base was in sight within moments! "All forward diamond cartridge turrets fire! Take out the defense guns! Land us! Ground forces! Three! Two! One!" The ship landed the split second the pirates ran out. A turret blew the gates off their hinges and the pirates were in! Killing many, they took all the documents they could, as well as other technologies. Kuze slowly walked into the middle of the carnage. A guard, obviously under-trained, tried to rush him, but Kuze merely grabbed the sword arm and the guard's throat, a second later, the spine was snapped. Casting the lifeless body, he yelled to the victorious pirates. "Pick it up! We need to leave quickly!" "Sir, ships on sensors!" Kuze whipped around to look, then shouted. The pirates, holding all the loot they could carry, ran into the ship. Kuze went onto the bridge and looked out at the air-craft coming in. My my my, is that Sephira still alive then? He smiled, she was late to catch him again. -Shayne Revelin- The Carnelian ambassador was eager to please. He was also fat, ugly and talkative beyond any acceptable limits, no wonder he was an ambassador to other countries. "I am quite happy to sir, don't worry about a thing, I have just the team in mind, in fact..." Shayne did not want to hear the details, "fine, just, please, get on it, less time wasted, more information gotten." The man had to be firmly escorted out. Shayne slumped in his chair. Why were these things never simple? He remembered a day when he could order a captain to kill an enemy and there was no paperwork and no ambassadors. He sighed, time to sign more forms.

  23. Fascinating chapter as always, ending needed a little more... 'oomph' if you know what I mean
  24. Chapter 2 -Delor- Pirate Captain Delor sat in his command chair and sipped an alcoholic beverage, relishing in his victory over the town. Anti-pirate system his foot! Kuze, his lieutenant, walked in. Being a man who only answered questions, he gave a sword to Delor. Delor asked him where he got it from. "We found it in the town." "Yes, but what is it?" "A sword sir." "What kind..." Delor fought to keep his anger down. Kuze was competent, but he couldn't answer a single question straight, by choice. "Please describe its origin, capabilities, power and anything else that might be of interest." Delor settled down. It was tiresome, but Kuze did it to keep his captain's wits sharp. "It appears to be a newly developed weapon from Arcadian Weapons Yards. Its full capabilities are completely unknown, but we know it can at least shoot photon blasts, not beams, at a target. It utilizes a strange diamond that inhabits the hilt/cartilage. It focuses at the tip and shoots out, we don't know how it works because the diamond is entirely unique. We got it from a convoy attempting to leave before we attacked, the situation required no survivors, however, documents point to at least 11 other blades, each with its own special gem." "Excellent, we must acquire the other ones! Are there any hints as to their locations?" "No sir, but I happen to know of a 'secret' base in the south Arcadian forest. Will we attack?" "You will, I will await your successful results. I have... business. I hope you understand?" "Would that business involve..." "You never mention... yes?" A crew member, one Loc by name, walked in a bit too boldly. "Sir, your presence is requested on the bridge." Delor hated communication gems, preferring that everyone on his ship talk to him in person, one more power play to assert his dominance. Pirates are untrustworthy creatures, unless they thoroughly understood the chain of dominance, you were never safe. -The Mystro- The Mystro, ruler of Arcadia, was dining with her favorite nephew. Having no children of her own, she had practically adopted him. Nearly finished with their meal, the nephew began to describe his plan. He went over it in detail, the Mystro was worried, however she knew she could not stop him. "I don't worry about you, mind, just... well... for you! Bounty hunting is such dangerous work, and I worry about your honor." "Please, have no doubt, my majestic auntie, I will live, I will preserve my honor, and I assure you, I will make a difference." "You never lacked confidence, so, behind my back is a thumbs up, in front is a frown, please do not do anything without thought! I would hate to lose you." The nephew blushed, why did she say such things? "You won't lose me! Besides, I have a name all picked out: Skyhunters." He got up and bowed to the Mystro, and departed to his apartments, where he would start the search for people to join him. -Shayne Revelin- Shayne Revelin sat at a chess table, with his bast friend, Colonel Raething. Raething, in contrast to his more stoic friend was talkative, but not so much to be a security threat, even drunk. "Well, old boy, I must say that weapon must be a great loss. (Check) What are you going to do about it?" "Discontinue, I have other things on my mind." "A pity, after so much money... How about that Delor pirate, they say he has 01, and he burned Tavestor to get it. I think he should be the first to go." "Agreed, If you wouldn't mind leaving me, oh, and call the Carnelian military adviser to my office, its better than sending a secretary." "We haven't finished our game yet." "Checkmate." Colonel Raething left with a salute. Shayne Revelin maneuvered the piece back five turns, and moved his friends rook one space left, then moved a piece, then, moved it forward five. "Checkmate."
  25. Name: Simoun Simula Section: Chapter 1 Author: Xewleer The air was crisp and clean, but the ground was charred and broken. No smoke rose from the burned out houses and airships lay in wrecks in the airport. Simoun Simula, newly arrived captain of the Swallow, looked over the destruction from her personal fighter craft with a critical eye. She would have to move her territory, since no Caravan was going to come by here for a while. "Captain Simula?" Phillip's voice cackled from the communication gem. "Yes, Phillip?" She responded. "Something you should hear," Phillip Melancthon quickly replied. A pompous voice, obviously an overblown politician, rang out. "... And we should no longer allow those town destroying pirates to exist! I have proposed we launch a campaign to destroy all the pirates and their benign business. I have here a bill, passed by all nations except Willowscent, we will eradicate the pirate scum! Admiral Shayne Revlin will head the expedition. Any words, Admiral?" "They are doomed," was the plain and unemotional reply. He was known everywhere as a pirate hater and the best Admiral in the Arcadian Fleet. "That's the spirit!" Simoun sighed, Delor and his ilk have gone too far. "Turn it off, I know what it means, trouble, and lots of it. I will be docking shortly." "Headings, Ma'am?" "East, Arcadia's southern forest! I'm sure we'll hear from Sephira and Simca soon." She turned off the mike so that her two crew mates couldn't hear her think out loud. "Well, Delor and his seven captains have removed yet another town from the map. It would seem that the bill was in the works for a while, judging by the bureaucracy..." She thought silently. "But for small time marauders like me, we'll be the first to go, since we don't have fleets of Pirate ships." She continued rambling, but stopped after reaching the ship, as it would be bad form to be seen talking to herself. -Simca- Simca was blond, blue-eyed, and quite beautiful from the chin up. But anyone looking down would see muscles that a bodybuilder would need steroids for. She was a fighter, with blades extending from brass knuckles as she hacked and kicked her way through a gigantic brawl, nearly slaying several of her own crew in her blood lust. Sated, she sat down, looking at the dead and dying. She sipped her own 'Fine and Brandy' beer, that's the only way people should be, she thought, dead and dying. Andoran, her first mate, who nearly had the same amount of muscles, walked up to her, tentatively. "Oi! Female dog captain! Message for your good self," he yelled at her from a couple arm's distances away. "Excellent! Give it out!" She yelled at him, and he walked up and tossed it to her from out of range of her blades. "Arcadia's Southern forest, eh? Awright! Lets go! Ha ha ha! I feel good!" She ran off, her crew members, wounded or whole, ran with her. Getting on the ship, they flew towards the destination. -Sephira- Sephira was at least 50 years old, had silver hair and had been a pirate since she was fifteen years old. Her husband had been the previous captain of the crew. However, he had died, how, supposedly assassin, reality, it was under mysterious circumstances. She was brilliant, and her crew were veterans, and their wisdom allowed them to be a fighting force even a fighter like Simca would not relish battling, despite their strength differences. She was drinking with her officers, all at least as old as she was, and each was tougher than steel, worth twice their weight in diamonds. The radio was on, so she had heard everything. It had to have come sooner or later. After an hour, she received a message asking her to go to Arcadia's southern forest to meet with her compatriots, Simoun and Simca.
