  3. On topic, I wouldn't leave Runescape for Mechscape. Because i'm not likely to have all the goals i have set for msyelf finished by the time it comes out. But, I will probably try to juggle both for a bit, while i try out mechscape, and still stick to my runescape goals.
  4. aww D: i thought it was pretty funny when i made it.
  5. They will look like this.
  6. Awesome. Haven't been spotted yet. I don't think I've been spotted ever :o For someone who stays on w99, and occasionally finds himself in forsakenmage, i'm still pretty elusive >:] EDIT: crap, i WAS sniped. oh well. once >_____>
  7. I have my doubts about the rift being related to the dragonkin (I'm unsure if this has been brought up before now, but I'll say it anyway) The rift is just north of the digsite, where there is proof underneath the digsite of the civilization worshipping god Zaros. As the rift is just north of this, it is likely that Zaros is the powerful being that is referred to in the quest. Zaros was a feared, likely bloodthirsty god. He could be related to the dragonkin, but it is unlikely that they are related to the rift. There are no other occurrences that really prove that the dragonkin are prone to this sort of thing, or if they even possess the ability to do something like this. It's more likely to have been put into place by a god like Zaros, who is proven to have control very close to where the rift opened.
  8. I have my doubts that MechScape will have a large effect on RuneScape. What if a lot of outside people come in, try MechScape, and don't like it? Then, seeing an advertisement for RuneScape (since both are owned by Jagex, this is likely), try that and like it, bringing in MORE customers? There are too many scenarios, and combinations of scenarios, to really make a good guess. My guess is, MechScape won't be an instant hit right away, and will take time to gain any sort of popularity. The first customers will likely be RuneScape players, but I don't see a mass exodus and switching of games. Personally, I am eagerly awaiting MechScape, not in hopes of switching games, but rather to see what Jagex has been working on for the past 4 years.
  9. I highly doubt there will be just one graphics option, exclusively playable by those with up to date computers. While it is very likely that such a version may exist, it is also very UNlikely that a standard version would not appear in the game. Jagex is quite proud of the fact that RuneScape is playable by almost anyone with an internet connection and access to Java, and I highly doubt they would willingly shut out players of a new game. The thing is, they know they can make a standard detail, it's a choice of if they WANT to make a standard detail. And my guess is yhey'll want to.
  10. LADY GAGA And her evil puh-puh-puh-poker face D:
  11. Pretentious holier than thou vegans annoy me. :twss: Good for you, you haven't eaten meat for 5 years, I haven't had an apple in a few weeks. Where's my medal? :3
  12. In the guide for the quest "Catapult Construction", the directions regarding locating the engineer are incorrect, and vague. 3. Exit the Tyras Camp and head to the Hunting spot through the path: East as far as possible South through the dense forest South through the trip wire East through the dense forest North through the leaf jump West through the pass sticks In the elf lands, there are many opportunities to go East, North, and West, and there are many different locations for the various traps. For a normal sized quest guide, the instructions could stand to go into more detail. A description of where you end up after reaching each point would be helpful, as well as a proper description of where you should end up. (Landmarks, etc.) Another problem with them, they were wrong. In my attempt to follow these, I didn't even end up in the general area of the Catapult Engineer. When I did the quest, the catapult engineer was located in the hunting spot south west of the Elf Camp. (The Hunter logo directly north on the map of the catapult.) Either this means the instructions were completely wrong, or there are multiple locations, depending on the player. A look into this would probably be beneficial, because that part of the quest guide was probably the most confusing.
  13. Or you can just put on a damn shirt, hippie.
