F2P--- Steel 2 Handers.
I mine 500 iron (50,000 worth, NOT BUYING) I buy 1000 coal (200,000 worth) at 200GP/EA smith them into 500 steel bars Sell the bars (250,000 worth) at 500GP/EA Or I could buy 500 iron for 100GP/EA, and sell the bars for 100GP/EA more. Where could I sell the bars? to other players? Shops? Or what? Why would you want to sell the bars for 500gp ea when you easily can sell them for 600gp ea? Oh, and sell on the forum. It is always buyers there! -_- Once again. F2P.

Yup, I was reading about the one-click trip, and I've been using it since. How much is coal/iron worth? How much are steel bars worth? Is this the quickest AND cheapest way to raise my smithing?

Okay, thanks. :)

Price of coal = 190-200? Are you sure? I thought it sold for around 90-120. Well, would it be a good idea to buy the coal, in order to train my smithing? 90-120? I want to live in your world :) Heh, eek, I got the price confused with iron, my bad. Hehe. I'm going to make iron bars until level 48-- is that a good idea? I will then make steel plate bodies, after I mine iron. So I will mine 500 iron, and buy 1000 coal, and sell the plate bodies... Would I earn a profit? If not, is there any quicker way to obtain 1000 coal? :(

... and that's why I hate pking. ;) I might try and get to 48 smithing, so I can make Steel Plate Bodies. I'm going to use Iron and make Iron plate bodies, until I can create steel ones. I will then, start mining iron, say 500, and BUY 1000 coal..Then make steel plate bodies and sell-- would I earn a profit?

A bit of an oxymoronic thing to say, don't you think? ;) I might just stick with mining/smithing... I got myself my first 100K in around 6 hours.. Which isn't too bad. When I hit a mil, I'll start merching.

I cannot alch-- I'm not a mage. Nor can i make steel plates yet, as I'm level 42 (or 44) smithing. What would be the cheapest way to train my smithing? That's what I was originally thinking.. Whether there is anyway to train smithing, and still earn a profit. Or if not a profit-- at least not lose any (or much) GP.

Could I earn a profit if I mine the iron, but buy the coal, and then smith into 2 handers, and sell to the speciality shop? What is the price of 2 handers in the shop? Where is said shop? What is the price of coal, nowadays?

I was told by my brother (he's a member) he couldn't beat Elvarg until he was around level 60. I am level 43... My defense is around 39-- I ought to stop training that, so should I get my strength to 40? What level should I attempt to beat Elvarg? Stat-wise... I have full addy, with a rune scimmy. Where would I get this 'anti fire' shield? ... I will train rune crafting, as soon as I hit 55 mining, what would be the quickest rune to craft, to get my RC level up?

he's f2p.... but anyway i think if you wanna make the 200k mine iron and sell that.... and 500 can easily be sold for 50k.... for 200k you need 2k... gl Should be quick enough, and it's training my mining whilst I do it! =D Is there anything else I could do, that I can do when I get bored of mining? As much as I hate to admit it, it does get rather tedious. What's the quickest way to raise my smithing, also?

Can you get off my back? I have real life to deal with- it's a drastic improvement for me, level wise, especially from level 1 mining > 52 in around 4 months. So STFU or GTFO of my thread. kthnx. --- I currently have 500 iron, what'd that sell for? Where would the best place to sell it be? I normally just sell to the shops. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=21 The reward for Dragon Slayer is: 1. The ability to wear rune platebody - without the quest, rune or any decorative rune-equivalent platebody cannot be worn. 2. 18650 Defence XP 3. 18650 Strength XP So, do you think I should train my defense until 40, strength until 40, then do the quest? Or what? I'm not sure of the best thing to do.

More recent stats. Any ideas? What'd be the best/closest one for earning money at the moment?

private servers
The same way. Private Servers = "New Runescape" so to speak... A private server isn't the same as playing on runescape.com means you can cheat, on most private servers too, to get 500 attack, or 600 party hats.

I am now level 40 fishing and cooking. I already have Addy armour, so should I do the 'Dragon Slayer' quest yet? I have a Rune Scimitar to go with the addy armour. What is the reward for that quest?

Best place to mine gold?
well the arzinian mines has more than 100 gold rocks and a ferry to ship your gold to the bank 2 minutes away I am F2P, so that point is irrelevant. I am currently training my crafting in order to get into the guild. Just got to get another 1K cowhides. :boohoo:

wow! really?no offence but if those are your "drastically improved stats" then i really don't wanna see your previouse stats... but anyway, back to the point! a good F2P money making way is all you need to have is an air talisman and 25 rune essence (need to do rune mysteries for this), go to the air altar with your 25 unnoted ess, switch to world 18 (i think) use your talisman on the altar and you should be by the runecratfting altar. there should be many people around, some should be saying things like: "open 2k". trade you ess with them and they will give you 1-3k and 25 noted ess, leave the altar run to the nearest bank " which isnt that far", bank withdraw 25 unnoted ess and repeat =] hope this helps  I am a new player, and I have only had this account for a few months. Unfortuantly, some players of Runescape have REAL LIFE things they need to deal with it. I did do air running for a while (world 16), but it just got boring.. I want something that "gives" something to the runescape economy, like selling iron bars, or selling lobsters, or something. I also don't want to get into PKing. I hate PKers. ;)

I am level 26 crafting-- what should I craft? If I want my smithing to level up quick, what should I smith?

THIS IS A PAIN ~
I never considered that. Next time it goes wrong, I'll check sticky-keys, I sometimes get problems with that.

Know of anything else I could do to get my levels up ASAP/get a fair bit of money.

What skill should I train next #2.
I suppose what I'm asking is which skill could I get to a "rich" level, the quickest. EG; level **** fishing means I could get lobsters, and I'm only * levels off from that. Which skill has the potentional of the most money making? Which skill should I invest my time and money into increasing?

You know you can buy full rune for less than 200k, right? Really? Then I'm after 200K. Isn't that a member only feature?

My skills have drastically improved since the last thread, and so has my question. Which skill should I train to earn the most amount of money possible? What should I train it to? Where? Tips? I'm F2P, for the record. ;) I only have around 20K, and I'm trying to get 300K for full rune before my def gets to 40.
