  1. Update (and bump). Fishing and Cooking are now 50. It took me 4 hours. :/ Is there any way to earn decent money off fishing, that is comparable, if not better to Pure Essence? Or should I keep training it exclusively? What should I train next? Woodcutting? :) I'll aim for all 50s in money making skills. (Starting with the most obvious ones that you have listed, WCing, RCing, Fishing, etc).
  2. The main reason I want Dragon armour, is so that I can do Slayer easily, with the current monsters I am fighting. Runecrafting is currently 32 - what would be the best way to level this up? What level should I get it to? Woodcutting is 41 - What would be the best way to get this up? What level should I get it to? Fishing is 44 - I'm aiming to get 50, to make lobsters easier.
  3. I'm aware of mining granite - is this actually a decent way to earn experience? Sure, the money would be good too - but I'm looking for a way to raise my stats, whilst I earn GP. I was thinking about giving fishing a shot - I'm level 44 in fishing, what would be the quickest way to raise it? At which level should I stop? Also. Are there any member capes that I could purchase? Right now, I'm running around in Full Rune, and there is no way for anyone to be able to tell that I'm a member, without actually being on a member server. >_<
  4. I've decided to give Attack a break - I'm aiming for all 60s, in the melee. However, I've come to realise. I won't be able to afford Dragon armour, until I have a method to get it. Currently, I'm earning the money from Pure Essence mining - which I've just been throwing into random skills. Which would be the best skills to train, to make a profit? My highest money earning skill, at the moment, is 61 - which is mining. I'm thinking the fastest and quickest money - I don't want to get to 99 smithing, only so I can earn about 10,000 GP an hour. I want the money as fast as possible. In F2P, it was fishing and woodcutting. Is it the same for members?
  5. I bet you if you took a poll a good bunch of players WOULD GLADY pay money to use certain items for X time. Though the RWT'ers would have quite a line waiting for an Armadyl Godsword, I'd think. Say I'm going to pay $20 to use it for the day or however much. I'm not the only one that wants it, I'm going to have to wait however many days there are people in front of me for. The sword isn't exactly something that RWT'ers can farm easily... How many of those would wait days on end to use the item for just 24 hours? Ah. I was under the impression that you could loan as many items as you wanted to people. Yeah, if that isn't the case, it renders this whole rant obsolete. :wall:

It doesn't matter what level you are. I was told when I became a member the 'newb' stuff would get better - if anything, it got worse. I get called a n00b, at level 63, with full rune. Sure, it's not the best armour - but it's all I can afford, or use at my levels.
  7. I imagine it would become a pretty big business, over time. Not everyone has high-levelled friends. It doesn't have to be $5, it could be any amount of money. Back while RWT was still big, you could buy 5 million coins for $50. Jagex seemed to care about that - so why should this be any different?
  8. Jagex removed the wilderness, along with many other features, to combat Real World Trading. I accept these changes, and I really don't mind them.. However, it seems a bit weird that they now have introduced 'Item Lending'. Great, give it a few months, and there'll be sites charging you $5 for use of a Godsword for 24 hours. Am I the only one here, who thinks that was a silly move, if they're truly trying to battle RWT?
  9. What level should I wait until before I move on from the cake stall?
  10. Where do I steal cakes?
  11. I am currently level 16 thieving - and I'm trying to get it to 40 for a quest. What would be the best way to do this? Pickpocketing men seems like an awfully slow way to go about it. Is it just an incredibly hard skill? Or am I going about it all wrong? Thanks. (My level 16 is from Skill Lamps. I went from 1-5 by training it.)
  12. It's not quite as accurate as it could be - For example, one of the quests it said I could do is kill a level 150-odd. I'm only combat level 62 O_o. I can barely kill an 80-odd Cockroach soldier.
  13. I can't believe I haven't seen that before. Thank you very much! :)
  14. Is there any software/websites that list each quest by the minimum average requirements? I've been looking for more quests to do - but most require things like 50 agility, or 40 thieving. I'm looking to do some of the easiest quests first. If such a program does not exist - would anyone be interested in coding one, for the good of the community? I'm sure we've got some programmers here somewhere. If not, I guess I'll have to resort doing a long-winded Excel spreadsheet. :/
  15. Just did it. Wasn't too hard. Map is defiantly wrong, though.
  16. Brightness is on max already, as well as on my monitor. The map shows 3 turn off places from the start - I can see one 'blocked' area (using my pickaxe on it does not affect it), and I can see one turn off. The map clearly shows 3. Can anyone verify that I'm not just being dense? :P
  17. I'm not sure, but I've got a strong feeling that the Tip.it guide map differs from the actual map - perhaps due to the Lumbridge update. I'm absolutely stuck with finding my way through the cave - I've been sitting here for about an hour, getting to certain points, and then falling through trap doors. Are there any up to date maps around?
  18. The legs are pretty expensive, considering how small the defence boost is. I think I might just keep training, until all 60's, and then do Lost City - and get myself some Dragon weapons/armour. I'm aware they're a lot more expensive - but they look a tad more impressive to own. Time to do some more levelling, then... Pure Essence first, to earn the money for Lobsters. O_o
  19. Ouch. Glad I posted here, before I bought anything. Awesome. Is it one of those silly rechargeable items, though? I hate them.
  20. Ah. Yeah, just checked the stats. Not worth it. Is there any items a little ol' low level (and new member) should get? I'm currently got full rune, Rune Scimi, and the boots from the Stronghold of Security. I have a games necklace too, but that's the only members wearable item I have. :/
  21. Very useful guide! I've often wondered how the blast furnace worked! Make a profit using it? I didn't even know that was possible! Thank you very much!
  22. I've heard a Maul isn't very good - so I'll avoid that.. but is Granite armour any good? My friend told me it's better than Rune, but is very heavy - I don't mind it being heavy, I just want to verify whether it is better than Rune or not. Also, how much does a set cost?
  23. Who said anything about me talking about the earliest Pagan religions? Germanic NeoPaganism is a reconstruction of religion in the Viking Era - not earlier.
  24. Are you really trying to tell me that the makers of RuneScape are putting Pagan references into the game via the skill of Runecrafting? Runecrafting is a skill to make things that help you cast magical spells! That has nothing to do with Paganism WHATSOEVER. Where the hell does Runecrafting fit into any of this crap? It sounds like daddy's been telling you that everything that isn't Christian must be evil. Before you start throwing immature flames, perhaps you should do a bit of studying? ;) http://newage.suite101.com/article.cfm/runecrafting Yes, That is what the translation of the word 'Paganism' means. However, it is not what Paganism is. Paganism is a generalisation for religions that pre-date Christianity. The symbols that are commonly used on Runes, are characters from the Futhark, as Germanic NeoPaganism seems to be bigger on Runecrafting, than other smaller religions. EDIT: Also, why don't you read some of my posts? I am a Asatruar, why would I hate my own people?
