  1. Halo has been doing it fine since ''01.
  2. Sighting in? You mean looking down the sights? 'Cause that's certainly not required to make a game playable on a console. :/
  3. MLG has the right idea. They place AAs on the map and treat them like powerups that people can fight over. They only allow people to use Sprint at spawn and you pick up other AAs on the map. Facing one guy with evade instead of an entire team is a lot more bearable and is fair because he fought to pick up the AA. This makes it a lot more fair in my mind and a lot less irritating.
  4. I'm not calling people out for using it, but rather the fact that it's possible to do. The combinations I summed up ruin the game. I'm not blaming the players, I'm blaming the game. Oh, and I even forgot about Armor Lock, but I guess that requires no explanation.
  5. I hate all AA's except for Sprint and Hologram. The others are just awful. Evade + sword/shotgun/grav-hammer = awful Invis + Sniper = awful Jetpack + map not designed with it in mind = awful Drop shield + Objective gametype = awful And it gets even worse when an entire team i using the same AA.
  6. I've found that with the addition of armour abilities in Reach bumper jumper has become less effective. In Halo 3 there was no reason not to use it, as you had much more control when jumping, and it became much easier to aim and melee. However, in Reach you are placed at a disadvantage using all the armour abilities apart from maybe active camo, as it's a pain to click the X button in a hurry. Try using the jet pack or evade and you'll see what I mean. In all you're put back on a level playing field, which is an advantage for balancing reasons, but a disadvatage for anyone thinking jumping and turning is possible. The only AA that requires holding onto a button is Jetpack. So that's the only AA I have an disadvantage on. The others are just as easy to use. A single X tap does the job. I don't understand how using Evade would be hard.
  7. One can not ruin something that has already been ruined.
  8. Because it's a game.
  9. You can still snipe people with a shotgun from across the map. Yeah, you have to have pinpoint accuracy though, so it's not terribly useful. As someone with a platinum star on the 870MC shotgun I can tell you that they are pretty damn useful.
  10. Never. Valve can't count to 3 confirmed.
  11. Because you're losing your skills, brah.
  12. You can still snipe people with a shotgun from across the map.
  13. Toggle crouch is awful because it makes you stand up the moment you take damage. It gives you a lot less control and is more unpredictable then using defualt hold stick to crouch. Oh, and Bumper Jumper is awesome. Of course it takes some time getting used to the button lay-out, but it will pay off in the end. Being able to jump and turn around at the same time is bliss.
  14. Looks a lot more interesting that the yawn-fest that is Nazi Zombies.
  15. The guys who made that also made a new map called Jump Rope. It's a lot more fun. The humans stand on the 'rope' and the infected have to splatter them off of it using all kinds of vehicles. http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-mini-game-maps/127066-jump-rope.html And I really don't understand why people like Infection so much. I guess racking up kills as a human can be entertaining, but being zombie is such a miserable experience every single match. And Grifball is awful if you're not host. And these people I was playing with are officially the worst people in Matchmaking:
  16. Who plays Grifball anyway?
  17. Going for the objective in CoD? What kind of heresy do you speak of?
  18. But did it go off? Yeah lol A job well done.
  19. But did it go off?
  20. That's where your squad comes in. If classes were very versatile you might as well get rid of them altogether.
  21. Low_c could you PM me the IP and add me to the whitelist? I wanna get back into Minecraft.
  22. I'm so sad that the console versions are dumbed down. :( Guess I'll just buy both PC and 360 version.
  23. The people I play with are from NeoGAF.com and Halo.Bungie.Org. I met them on those forums and started playing with them.
  24. Alpha27 is quite a nice clan too. I know some guys from the clan and they seem to be both good at Halo and friendly. http://www.alpha27.net/ I'm not really a clan person myself, though.
