I just downloaded the beta for the 360 and I keep getting this annoying green flickering every now and then. Anyone else have the same problem? My 360 also decided it would be a good moment to overheat. :( Besides that it was pretty awesome those 10 minutes I could play. :P First thing I got was a 10 kill-streak without dying yet. :shades:

The fact is that the last Elders Scrolls game has sold more than the last Gears game. You can use meaningless terms as mainstream, but sales are sales. Gears 2 has sold less than Oblivion so there's no reason to believe that Gears 3 will sell more than Skyrim will. Oblivion has also been around for 2 years longer than Gears 2, it's had more time to sell. But this is a rather silly argument. I don't think my store is doing a midnight release, but personally I don't care. I'll just pick it up after class on release day. Those extra two years will hardly warrant any extra. Oblivion came out in 2006. I think the sales in 2010 and 2011 will probably not even reach the 100,000. Which is a small number compared to the total sales.

What ruined the Treyarch versions for me even before I played them were the settings. WW2/Vietnam is not my thing.

You choose which path you take over a bridge and you choose if you want to provide cover fire to the truck your team is driving or you can drive in the truck itself. These options make the game feel more immersive not to mention the cut scenes are amazing. It's one of the best campaigns of any game i've ever played and i can see a ton of replayability if you're into finding cog tags and collectibles or replaying it to get more achievements for co-op and hardcore mode ect. You can drive yourself? God, driving has been awful in the previous parts. Is it any better? Also, are there still those terrible on-rails sections nobody enjoys? These two things really ruined the past games. No, you shoot a Gatling gun from the rear of the truck. It's actually pretty fun because [cabbage] is exploding and falling all around you as you're drove through the mayhem. Sorry if i misled you but i was trying to express the parts of the game that succeed in being over the top suspense. So another [cabbage]ty on-rails part? Ugh.

I love how you can grab the flag on Zealot so the enemy team always spawns at the bottom of their base even if you're standing there. I may be a douchebag for spawnkilling them there, but it was funny as hell. 17 flag kills.
